Prith stood in front of a mirror, gazing at himself. He had been doing that for the last five minutes, admiring himself. Where did Prithee find a mirror you ask? Well, he found it on the ship he boarded. Where did the ship come from? Well you see, Prith was taking a little stroll on the beach when he saw the empty vessel just sitting around on the shore. How he boarded it? I'll leave that up to you.
In any case, he had wandered off from the family and was now wandering around on the abandoned wooden boat, observing with awe at every nook and cranny. He of course had no idea what he was on, but he sure as well knew it was an adventure one could not pass up. There was a many different kinds of food Prith had never seen before just lying around, and many things he connected to humans, such as the tables. It was fairly cramped, and a perfect place for hide-and-go-seek.
As Prith awkwardly made his way up the stairs and back on deck he began to listen- there were so many sounds about him that he knew were always there, but he never bothered listening to. The adventure just seemed to open his ears. Such a strange place indeed...

How did Nana mange to sneak away from her parents during the mid-day? She had no idea, but it happened. Not only did it happen, but she was away from the forest. She was at the beach, her time actually. But if her father found out, he would definitely give her a lecture of why she shouldn't wonder from her family. She rolled her eyes at the thought of sitting around while her father talked to her has if she knew nothing. One word to describe her father, overprotective. Yeah, that was the perfect word. But enough about that! Back to her new adventure! She had wondered around the forest many a times before. It was hard to find anything new there. But the beach, it was new. There was bound to be something worth adventuring here. But so far, it was just vast amounts of rocks, sand and ocean. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to come here. It was just a vast place of nothingness. Maybe I'm not giving it time to reveal itself? she though with uncertainty. But once that thought passed, there it was. She looked upon her, to see something big, and of what she has been told. These things, her father told her about them when he flew over the waters. What were they called? "A... butt.." She whispered to herself. She took the time to pause, What a strange name... Back to reality! She was excited to explore what it was she was only told about. How lucky was she to find one? She began to trot over to the big ship. She was so much in awe, she didn't realize the other Soq right in front of her. But why would she, when she was admiring something she had never seen before. Everything seemed silent, the only thing she was focused on was the 'butt'. And until someone caught her attention, that would be all she was going to focus on.

Prith was looking over the side of the ship when he saw Nana. First thought: a goddess? She fit the theme: wings, a tiaraish-thing, a symbol, and hair of an eye-attracting color. She was also pretty. Not as pretty as me of course. Well... actually, for once, he wasn't so sure. This was the first time Prith was unsure if he found himself more attractive than another or not. It was... strange. Just like the ship he was standing on.
"Hello there~!" He called, hoping she'd hear him and come over. She'd have to get closer for him to be able to put his worries to rest.

It ship was so much bigger up close. it was HUGE! How could it have looked so small? She didn't know, but she wanted to explore it. She was tired of the same thing. Trees, lakes, ponds, tall grass, and more trees! And now she was in front of this massive object. Oh the glory of it all. She examined it thoroughly before came to the conclusion that it would be safe to get on. But something seemed out of place. There was a sudden sound. A greeting? No way there was anyone else around... Or was there?
Shot back to reality, and her surroundings she looked around. Looking up, something stood out like a sore thumb. It was black, purple and green. It was another Soquili. How did she always run into Soq on her amazing discoverings? She was no good around new people. She became nervous and shy. How was she going to get through this one? She just wanted to look around.
"Umm... H-h-hi!" She loudly mumbled.

"I'm Prith, what's your name?" She seemed to be a shy one. Why did he always run into soq that were shy or had low self-esteem? They were just so... different from him! He always had to do all the talking, not that he minded hearing his own voice. He sighed to himself. It seemed to suit her though... Suited her more than his personality suited him. He shook his head a little, realizing his mind was wandering. Invite her aboard, yes, invite her aboard. He would not be able to rest until he ranked her. "Would you like to explore the place too? There's a big hole in the side that you can enter through. There's like, a foot of water though." He hoped she wouldn't turn away because of his presence.
Backing away from the railing of the ship he made his way back to the stairs and awkwardly down them, so he could greet her if she decided to get on the boat after all. He was a little annoyed that it was dark though, because he wanted to rank her below him in appearance as soon as possible and a lack of light would no help with that.

"I'm Nana.." She tried to project her voice to where he could hear here.
Even though she wasn't to good around strangers, she wasn't going to be rude. Running off without a word. Or just standing there while someone she had never spoken to spoke to themselves. Now that would be rude. Her parents taught her better then that. And plus, this "Prith" character didn't sound threatening at all... I mean, look at his name.., she thought. But like her father said, 'you never know what their true intentions could be', he was just being paranoid. I suppose having your first batch of foals does that to a Soq. And Prith was only a foal, what harm could he possibly do?
Snapping back to reality again, his voice echoed through her ears. Did she want to explore too? Of course I do!, she would never show such enthusiasm to a stranger. She looked for the big hole, but alas! It was right in front of her. She rushed to the hole happily, keeping her wings close to her back. Steadily making her way into the whole, she was met with some water. But that didn't bother her, water was just water. As she tried to figure her way out of this particular area, she began to hum. It was something she usually didn't realize she started doing. And this was one of those times. Her humming was quite angelic, much like her mothers and fathers. Now if only she could just sing around strangers. It'd surely be amazing.

As Prith trotted his way down to the lower floors of the ship he heard a faint humming, and followed it. As it got a little louder, the lighter it sounded, and Prith wondered if her humming was supposed to make others' ears feel all... fluttery, in a way. Adsorbed by it he tripped on a coil of ropes, and made a loud thump. She's probably going to stop, now that she knows I heard her... Getting back up he shook himself off before speaking, "you have a very beautiful voice, you really shouldn't hide it like that. One would never guess you were so talented!"
Kicking the ropes away he continued towards her, and estimated they were in the same hallway now. "You there?" He squinted his eyes. It was really too dark to see...

Nana continued to hum as she slowly made her way through the odd place. She didn't want to bump into anything dangerous. Then her father would definitely know she snuck out. And he would again, give her a lecture about being careful and how she could prevent getting hurt again. She rolled her eyes at that thought again. Hearing someone go on and on about something she knew about already just annoyed her. But her thoughts came to a stop when she heard a loud crash. Everything seemed quiet until Prith began to talk.
I was humming? she thought about it for a second, not remembering. "Umm, thank you. I hadn't realized I was humming." She smiled nervously, though he wouldn't be able to see her.
She began to walk forward slowly again, thinking about her humming. How is it I don't remember these things? she was a bit confuzzled about the whole thing. But, there was nothing she could do about it. So! She just shrugged it off and began to walk at a faster pace. As she got closer to what seemed to be the end, she saw a figure of what seemed to be another Soq. It had to be Prith. Or so she hoped, she didn't want to run into ANOTHER Soq.
She continued forward. "Yeah, I'm over here..."

"Oh good, I was afraid I might have lost you. Follow me, you have to see things from the top of whatever this wooden thing is." Turning around he made his way back from where he came from, avoiding the rope this time. "Be careful, there's a lot of junk lying around..." As he said that he accidentally kicked an oil lamp that was sitting on the ground, and jumped at the sound of shattering glass. "S-sorry...!"
Ducking his head he continued down the hall and corridors, often peeking into cabins for a look. There were many bunks and hammocks, which Prith had no idea what they were for.

Nana gave Prith another nervous smile, even though he couldn't see her. She thought it was nice that he mention that she should be careful... But she would've already guessed there was a whole bunch of random things around. Of course she was going to be careful. But I suppose that wasn't quite the case for him. After telling her to be careful, he shattered something. Though it was an accident... Yeeaah. She shock her head, and again, continued to follow him. Being careful and all.
She watched as he would peek into the random rooms. Only to peek in them after he was done taking a look. She couldn't help but take a look. She was in a place she had never thought she would be in. There was no way she would pass up taking a good look around. Even though his colt wanted her to go somewhere specific. There were many things to see on the way. Like the odd items in each room. One's that seemed like she would have no use for. And she was right about that. But she couldn't place her father's two-legger here, as she should've. Though she had only met her once or twice. Nana always seemed to know everything. I suppose being in a new place just through her off. She would figure it out eventually..

"So, Nana, was it? Where do you come from? Where's that like?" He flicked his tail, taking a peek under a dirty rag with his nose, though sneezing the moment he did. Wrinkling his face he continued on, often ducking under and jumping over little things. Obviously, for the jumping part, he had forgotten that he should be careful.
"Alright, just up these steps and we'll be there.~" Prith made his way up the steps, less awkwardly now that he was more use to it. It was a good thing the ceiling was low, so the stairs weren't very steep. After making his way through a... square manhole? He was back in the fresh air again. "We're here, you've got to see this!" Making way to give her room to get out, he backed up- preparing to see her up close. He had to put his pride's worry to rest, and the sooner the better.

And it starts! 20 questions here we come... Nana didn't like to answer a million questions every time she met someone new. It was annoying to her. But she would never decline answering them. She just couldn't help it. She didn't want to be rude, her parents taught her better then that. And she wasn't going to be a rude little monster. She probably couldn't even if she tried. Her shy-ness would probably come out without her knowing, probably unwillingly too. Poor girl would probably never get past that.
Maneuvering over the obstacles around her gracefully, she answered his questions. "Yes.. Nana. I come f-from the forest. The d-deep forest. It's dark there.. But c-cozy.." Yep, her low tone was still present.
She continued to follow him, stopping at the steps. She prepared herself to make her way up them again. They were odd, but she did pretty good the first time around. Carefully she made her way up, wondering what was so amazing that she had to see. She couldn't think of anything spectacular she hadn't seen before. Maybe it was just SO spectacular that she couldn't think of it. Yeah, that was it! She finally made it all the way up the stairs, peeking her head out she looked around. First thing she saw was the black, green and purple colt. She found his mane and tail coloration quite odd... But hey, nothing you can do about that one! It seemed safe enough, so, she stuck her wings as close to her as possible while getting out. She made it out fine, only to stretch out her wings some, to give them some air. But... There didn't seem to be anything amazing up here. Maybe she was just overlooking it... Yeah, that was it!
Now what?

Prith stared. For the first time ever, he had lost. He was quite sure the shy little Nana was prettier than him. She had a idol-like complexion to her. He blinked, and shook his head. He couldn't let this get him down, that was some one was prettier than him... 'Envy' was such an ugly emotion... Respect suited him much better. Admiration maybe, since she had talent.
Realizing he hadn't said anything once she got of the steps, he pointed over towards the edge of the ship with his nose. "You need to see the view." He trotted over to the railing, "it's not very impressive actually, if you can fly- but I can't, so it's pretty amazing to me."

She looked around, still unaware of what she was supposed to be seeing. She didn't notice Prith's stare either. Nana didn't consider herself someone to look at. She thought her coloration was a bit odd. Purple and red? Who thought of that?! She did love her wings and accessories though. Though, I suppose it's better to think you're nothing then to be conceded. She did think her parents were marvelous.
She looked to him when he spoke, then followed. Nana couldn't fly herself.. Just yet anyway. She hadn't had her lessons. Her mother didn't know how to fly. Then again, she was a flutter. It'd be hard for her father to teach her with completely different wings. But he could definitely teach herself and her brother, who got his wings! Her other sister was stuck trying to figure it out with her mother. They might wanna find a flutter to help them out. But Nana couldn't wait 'til she got some flying lessons! They seemed so fun! Something she actually wouldn't mind being taught.
Looking over the railing, it was indeed quite the impressive sight! She could see beyond the ocean shores, to the forest close by. It was almost like flying.. Or what she assumed flying would be like. "It is quite as sight." She spoke in a low tone, with a smile.

"I know, right?" He swung his tail to and fro. "I've seen smaller what-ever-these are washed up on shore, but never one so massive as this! Uh... you wouldn't happen to know what this is called anyways, would you?" He turned to look at her, and leaned on the railing some- though quickly stepped back when he heard a crack.
Wood must be rotting... perhaps it had sunk to the bottom of the ocean from a storm and rested there for a time, before rough currents washed it here... Impossible. There wasn't a tsunami recently! Maybe it was the sailors! Ghost sailors that were disturbed from their rest and raised this thing out of the ocean It hadn't occurred to him how strange it was he'd know what a sailor was but not a boat. "hey, you think this place is haunted?"
