Personality: Ntozake is very intelligent woman, she knows 4 Languages (English, French, Zulu, Chinese). In her daily tongue, she can be seen using 3 of the four languages at once in a conversation. Her voice is lined with Zulu overtones. She is a bit eccentric with alot of things. One thing about Ntozake is that she does not hold her tongue. She will state her opinion on things whether anyone likes it or not. Ntozake is not a fan of a**-kissing. She generally doesn't care about what others think about her. She continues to do her thing, no questions asked. Ntozake only keeps a limited circle of people around her. If she feels as though someone is becoming too close to her, she has a habit of trying to push that person away. Ntozake doesn't hold grudges against people, unless you really wronged her in a foul way. She has a strong dislike against men who are rude to women. Also, she isn't a big fan of drinking but is a big fan of gambling. Mmmhmm...she has problems with her height. The woman is a bit of a pacifist. She doesn't like bloodshed nor unnecessary drama. Initially when she is placed in a situation where she 'forced' to fight, she tries to negotiate. If negotiation does not work, she will fight. Her personality changes when she is in battle. She tends to think of the battle as a game, and really does not take it seriously or so it seems that way. To her, it's all an act to frustrate her opponent and try to expose their weaknesses very quickly.

Bio: Ntozake Hounsou-Emeagwali was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. She is of Zulu descent, since her father is from the Zulu Tribe. He came from the town of Dannhauser in the KwaZulu-Natal Province of South Africa.There were a couple of times she visited the town, but that was it. Her father moved into the city because he wanted to escape that life, this was when he was 17. Her mother, she’s originally from South Africa but has lived in France for most of her life. Her mother was of mixed heritage. She was a Doctor, well, she was studying to become one when she met Ntozake's father. She’s the one that had first introduced her to the wonderful world of science… She moved away from Johannesburg when she was 4 Years Old.
Her mother landed a job back in France, so they moved there. When she lived in France, she didn’t have many friends, just a couple. This was due to the fact that she was always reading or doing something out of the norm like collection bugs or digging through her mothers' study to tinker with something. At this time, she began to discover that she could see spirits and the paranormal, which wasn't a odd thing since Zulu's often treasured having a connection with the spiritual. By the time she was 12, her father passed away of natural causes.
This hurt her mother, hard. It even threw her in a depression that lasted for a long time. Ntozake, on the other hand, became more extroverted and started to be social. Anyway, by the time she was 14, her mother re-married. Ntozake did not like her new father nor did the male like her. So the two kept a safe distance away from each other. Her mother did not seem to notice this and months later they relocated to the Bahamas.
When they were in Nassau... Everything for the new family seemed to go for the better and for the worse. Her mother and her step-father had twins, and because of their jobs they could not stay home and watch the kids. So, they placed this task on Ntozake, whom was very agitated about it. Her parents were never home, so it was almost as if the twins were her kids. She watched first two years of her teenage era pass by. And quite frankly, she was sick of it. So when her mother started to stay home more, she started to stay out late and started to fall into a street gang. In that street gang, she eventually managed to become a big player and everyone in the streets knew who she was. Despite her social standing, she managed to maintain a high GPA. Ntozake began to do more and more rebellious things, such as small robberies, etc. and eventually went onto bigger things. Her parents didn't know about it, that is, until one day her step-father went snooping in her room and found a gang flag. He decided to confront her about it when he felt it was right. Her step-father informed her mother about the flag and his suspicions. Her mother thought that it was just a coincidence and just made excuses for her. When the evidence became apparent, her mother could not deny it any longer. Her mother decided that she will confront her daughter about the situation, but her step-father suggested otherwise.
One day when she came from home from school step-father was waiting... Waiting on her, which was very unusual for him to do, since he wasn't close to Ntozake in anyway. He confronted her about the flag and everything else. On instinct, Ntozake denied the allegations against her, saying that he was mad and the only reason he would lie on her because she wasn't his child. The two got into a heated argument. Once she got close, she shoved him. The man was already mad enough and then suddenly, he grabbed an knife... He proceeded to stab her. She was killed that day, in her living room... He dragged her body into his trunk and dumped it on the side of a road... to be found...

~Appearance~
Description: Ntozake has dark brown skin and breathtaking hazel eyes. She has long dark brown dread locks that reaches down to her mid back. She usually keeps in a high ponytail. It's rare for anyone to see her with her dreadlocks down and in a free flowing manner. Ntozake has a curvaceous figure. Ntozake wears thin obsidian framed glasses with transitional lenses. She wears the traditional shinigami uniform. Ntozake is, in reality, 5'2" but due to her fear of not being taken 'seriously', she wears heels or wedges that cause her to appear 5'6". The woman often wears her Zanpaku-to on her back, in a similar fashion to Hitsugaya. Ntozake has her ears pierced as well. Having two golden loops on each ear. On her right ear, she has a silver ear cuff on her upper earlobe. On her right hand, she has a small oval jade ring on her middle finger. On her left hand, she has none. She rarely wears necklaces for the fact that she feels that they only get in her way while she is working.

Zanpakutō Spirit Appearance: Tchaka is a very sculpted man. He is 6'3" with a magnificently proportioned body, well muscled and with a true royal bearing. He is dark-skinned, just like Ntozake. As for his hair, Tchaka has a low-cut. Around his head, he wears a headdress with one single crane feather, which is stationed in the middle of the headdress. Tchaka wears the traditional Zulu chieftain-warrior garb. Tchaka can be found wearing a small piece of leopard skin around his waist, symbolizing his status as King. On his toned upper arms, he wears tufts of cow's hair. This can be said about his upper knees as well. Just like his wielder, Tchaka is a man of daring, cunning, and imagination. His very presence commands respect among anyone who would be around him at the time. He has this air of confidence and power that can be overwhelming, even for Ntozake. He can be ruthless, cold hearted, and quite the strategist. Ntozake and Tchaka's relationship can be characterized as a subordinate-superior relationship. Ntozake is the subordinate in this equation. Tchaka will often offer Ntozake insight on things if he feels it is needed. He does not hesitate to offer his opinion and can come off as rather blunt, which suits Ntozake just fine.
Shikai: 'Vous méritez de briller... Tchaka.' [Shikai::Weapon...]
Tchaka changes from its default form of a broadsword to a long metal assegai. The steel assagai [African Spear] is 6 feet in length. The spear has a dark blue clothe with golden specks of thread wrapped around the middle of it and extends towards the end of it.
'Applique le poids...' [Shikai: Attack 1- Defensive]
'Applique le poids...' is Tchaka's Shikai attack. A low humming sound could be heard from the end of the spear, which allows the Zanpaku-to to use the sound waves that are generated from the spear against the opponent. The sound waves that Tchaka generates slows down the opponent if it comes in contact with the spear and/or if the user sends a 'wave' of the vibrations at the opponent...
'Le pousse à la limite...' [Shikai: Attack 2- Offensive]
'Le pousse à la limite...' Is the second of Tchaka's attacks. Just like the first attack, it allows the user to use the sound waves generated against the opponent. But, this attack allows the sound waves to be used as a offensive attack. The attack is like a low-key sonic boom.

Bankai: 'Cri de guerre...'
In her Bankai stage, Ntozake's appearance changes drastically. Whatever she was wearing before, she doesn't appear in the same garb. On her head is the magnificent headdress of a Zulu warrior. [See Tchaka pic]. Her clothing is different as well. Her appearance mirror's her Zanapku-to's. She has tufts of cowhair on her upper arms and knees. Even with this, there are several things that cause the outfit to be different from Tchaka's. On her hands are obsidian fingerless gloves with the exception of the middle and ring fingers, which are semi-covered. Ntozake is seen to be wearing a grey dress in a similar manner to this one, along with dark tights.
The Initial weapon of the Shikai is changed into a Guan Dao weapon in the Bankai stage. Her Guan Dao weapon consists of a heavy blade with a spike at the back with a notch at the spike's upper base that can catch an opponent's weapon. In addition there are often irregular serrations that lead the back edge of the blade to the spike. The blade is mounted atop a 1.5 m to 1.8 m (5-6 foot) long wooden or metal pole with a pointed metal counter weight used to balance the heavy blade and for striking on the opposite end. The blade is very deeply curved, a red sash attached at the joint of the pole and blade. The Guan Dao has nine rings along the length of the straight back edge.
In her Bankai stage, Ntozake's speed is heightened greatly.
Bang Sonique… [Bankai Attack:: 1]
The 'Bang Sonique' is a larger version of 'Le pousse à la limite...'. Instead of a Low-Key Sonic Boom, it is much stronger and a much wider radius.
Frénésie de bang sonique... [Bankai Attack:: 2]
An Alternative version of the 'Bang Sonique' attack. It has all of the properties of the Bang Sonique. The one factor that changes this attack from the initial ones is the fact that the boom sends out something similar to small spear-like weapons at the opponent.
Perche de bâton et de pain... [Bankai Attack:: 3]
The 'Perche de bâton et de pain' is a more powerful version of 'Applique le poids...'. This attack is in a larger variety than the Shikai.

~Skills, Techniques, and Kidō~
Skills:
Master Acrobat: Ntozake is extraordinarily acrobatic. Because of this, she is very fast and agile in battle, able to outmaneuver almost any opponent she comes across. She is also very flexible, able to bend in nearly impossible positions and walk on her hands. These abilities allow her to scale almost any surface very quickly, and transgress through most barriers and into small spaces.
Sound/Vibration Mastery: Ntozake has been able to master her Zanpaku-to's Main Theme, which has to do with sounds and vibrations. As she learned how to do this, she has developed some techniques that are centered along with the theme.
---Enhanced Hearing: Due to her mastering her theme, she has enhanced hearing.
---Paume Paralysante: This ability allows her to channel the same type soundwaves that are used in her defensive shikai attack ('Applique le poids') to her limbs. This is a hand-to-hand combat ability that allows Ntozake to be able to slow down her opposition in Hand-to-Hand combat.
---Ngokushesha-shukumisa: This move allows Ntozake to 'ride' on vibrations in the air. She often uses this move to enhance her Shunpo.
Shunpo: She is capable at using Shunpo to a greater extent.
Hakudou: Her Hakudou style is the Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do Style [Made famous my it's originator, Bruce Lee.]
Enhanced Durability: Ntozake can take alot of hits in battle. She can survive most damage.
Enhanced Strength: Ntozake is strong enough to take on bigger opponents despite her smaller stature. She is able to hold her own against opponents twice her size.

Bakudo:
1. Restrain (塞, sai)— Locks a target's arms in place behind their back.
4. Crawling Rope (這縄, hainawa) — An energy rope entangles a target's arms.
9. Strike (撃,Geki) — Engulfs a target in red light, completely paralyzing them.
Hado:
1. Thrust (衝, shō) — Pushes the target away from the caster.
4. White Lightning (白雷, byakurai) — Fires a concentrated bolt of lighting from the caster's forefinger.
