She's got this tuft of neon yellow on her nasteh face and she really was quite rude to me when I was, unfortunately, stung repeatedly a while back. And when she smiles all the fat squinches up to her eyes and ... *shudder* UhhhhhhRODOh lordy, I think I just bout fell over when I first stepped into his house. It's was like, pirate themed. !!! Weeeellll the posts for this journal aren't nearly finished, but I wanted to go ahead and start posting about life in Spectre. More pictures (including ones of moi) will be posted soon >w< Once I get the digicam and find time to upload. Rest assured, it's worth the wait. Hoooo.
Let's see ... There weren't any traveling artisans today. Shot a couple of presents down from the sky ... Ran some errands ... Checked up on Egbert, who seems to have a cold. Not a lot happened ...

hoo rah.
I'm thinking of giving the upper floor some AZNFLAIRRRR haa. Got the sword and vases and giant LCD TV alllllll set up.
After I stomped up and down the flights a bit, I headed over to Shampoodle, hoping for a new look. I've been changing styles every couple of days, and I have to say, I've been a bit disappointed. I NEED HAIR THAT WILL EAT MY FACE. NOT JUST MY FACE, BUT YOORS TOOOO. Unfortunately, luck was not with me, and I emerged with a default style, dyed white. Well I gotta admit, it does look sorta preety with the reddish highlights from the setting sun, but otherwise, I look like yer G-MA.

Even the dreads were better than this.
Alas, I will try again tommorow.
On the bright side, Rasher did give me a "regent wig", which looks interestingly enough like Elvis' scalp ripped off and placed on my fair shoulders. o__o
With my new hair colour, I sorta look like Billy Idol with it on.

Yesterday night at around 11:45, I was feeling a little down, having just been stung multiple times by those accursed legions of bees, and rejected by Goose, who claimed my offering of a red bar shirt as atrocious. Soo, I popped by the cafe, hoping for some coffee. ANNNNND who did I find there, but
HARRIET?
She was seated in the middle chair, staring at her mug, apparently deep in thought. I crept beside her, and then she started talking about corkscrew curls and the sweet, sweet smell of peroxide?!
This has led me to believe Brewster is most definately a crucial link in an underground drug gang, tainting the fair citizens of Spectre and spiking his famed coffee while he sits there, silently laughing as he polishes yet another saucer for 5 hours . . . !
Egads.
Hem.
Well.
I am sorry to say I haven't received any mail for quite some time. Pudge has taken to calling me Agent X while the rest of the citizens still retain the old nickname, Wonder P. Racy rumours are flying here and there about Rasher's relationship with Melba. But but .. they are .. like polar opposites.
I don't understand how a perfectly sweet koala can have secret rendesvous with a fat pig bearing a huge welt on the upside of his head.

Today was quite a day.
I finally caught a BEEEEE (*danceeeeeee*), as well as a mole cricket. Finally finished another acceptable snowman (after 3 days of flukes) And I generally made Spectre more beautimous.
HOWEVER,
as I was shuffling around my menu, I pressed the power button.

I was like TT____________________TT THERE IS NO GOD!!
and then to be ranted at by Mr. Resetti on the art of "rolling with the punches"
But, after an hour or two, I had painstakingly recreated the day xDD
Again. And I got over it

In other news, Monique is planning on moving.
Dunno if she's actually planning on carrying it out.
Still hating on Bella.
Gonna see if Harriet's popping by the bar again tonight. Nook is having a x5 point event on the 25th! heart

YEEEEEYYY it's Christmas Eve!
And my life is still consumed by AC:WW. whee
I'm a little bummed at how all the "real world" holiays have been taken out ... It just seemed to make life a lot more exciting in AC ...
I can understand why they did it, but I still haven't gotten over it. The holidays to compensate for the original ones seem somewhat half assed too.

Anywayy ... Today, I didn't work too hard at my loan ... Usually I can knock off 35-55k a day but I only payed off around 15,000 today. My lack of bells can be contributed to the fact that I'm crazily obsessed with shifting around hair styles and I never seem to be satisfied with what I come out with ... feh.
Yesterday Harriet worked my hair into a weird bob, dyed a light brown colour, which is probably the closest thing to my IRL style at the moment.
However, I messed with my hair again today, and got it longer (the style with the longest hair and the sort of pushed aside bangs) as well as tinting it a loverly Christmas Green.
Now I look like my Ragnarok character .. o__o
Wouldn't it be lovely to mage around on AC? I'd set fire to Bella's breeches and command my army of Poring to eclipse her Herculean head! rofl '' kyuu ...
In other news, K.K. is coming tonight!~. I missed him last week, so I'm extra excited this Saturday @-@'''''
I never did get to further investigate the Harriet/Brewster thing, cause I fell asleep at around 10 due to having stayed up the previous night. And I'm sick. ninja
More gossip is floating around about Rasher and Melba (Earlier Melba was talking about collecting 4 somethings for her wedding?!) ... Bella and Egbert seem to have some chemistry as well. Eww. Monique is single and hating it, and I'm pretty convinced that Pudge is pretty asexual. o__o Goose is all macho, but has a soft spot for interior decorating today. Sounds fruiiiity. Who ever heard of a body building colour coordinator? >w< Eloise is too wrapped up in herself to be thinking of taking on a beau. And she won't stop asking me for clothes. mad Not only is she a skank, but she's a hobo skank.
I've stopped picking fruit so that Spectre will be looking it's pristine finest on Christmas.
I'm also finding it difficult to pick a motif for my upstairs . . . Finally got that phonograph I've been wanting from Pudge, though.
Hmm .. .. .. is it just me, or do all the knit hats make you appear as if you're concealing a tumour? gonk gonk gonk

WELL IT'S A NEW YEAR n_n!
After hearing the music for 3 hours though, it does tend to lose it's charm. whee
On New Year's Eve, the fair town of Spectre accomodated Lyvidian and Cassi/Shedir. They didn't get to see all the sights of Spectre that make it heaven on earth *hemhem* but Alyss and I did get to tour Shedir's town of Celes, where we encountered it's resident a** whooping hero, Big Top. Perhaps he was a side freak show in the past ?_?
We also receieved tons of fruit from both of the kindred spirits, and now Spectre's shores are littered with tiny palm and orange trees.
I still haven't gotten over my obsession of Spectre's newly aquired peaches, and have been gorging on them and hoarding them all day.
Yesterday was quite busy, what with the constant opening and shutting of gates as well as the New Year's Eve commotion, and attempting to mooch as many party poppers off of Tortimer as possible.
We took a break to return to our respective towns in order to grap another K.K. single. I recieved Forest Life, which brought back many many memories. crying oh, rapture. rofl
At 12:00 the fireworks were spectacular ! Every one was out except for the emo kids (i.e. Bella and Rasher. Not that I blame Rasher, for I saw him and Melba arguing earlier u_u)
I can't wait to see the rain in WW ... Rainy days were just awesome

Much still needs to be added to this thread, and i will get to updating my collection of items and putting up pictures ASAP.
Roald moved over just before New Year's Eve, and he brought back memories of Goose. He seems like Goose's reincarnation, except more flabby and cuuuute.
He does scare me with his talk of pallateral spine crunches(?) O____O!!
Sadly, Bella is still sticking around. Ugh, the very sight of her sends me into convulsions of dismayyyyyyy. She needs to be sedated and carted of to Guam.
Today Eloise moved away. I wasn't exactly sad at her departure, since she was basically Monique clone #1u1974895
And today everyone whoI had sent New Year's cards to replied with cards of their own 4laugh yeyyy
I hope to have access to a router later on this week again ... I'm too lazy to buy a USB thing. Lazy meaning broke.

In other news, tomorrow is Roald's birthdayyy! Dotty (A strange rabbit who carries the disturbing persona of PATE *fuuume*) finished packing yesterday. I think she was in my town on the GC v. . .
Hmmmm welllll Redd came to town today. Bought a painting (turned out to be a fraud crying ), but he didn't have much else up for sale.
This brings me to the topic of some traveling NPCs ... I MISS GRACIE'S CARRRR TTwTT~~~~ Oh, that was just about the only thing I was good atttttt .... The new question format drives me crazy. I've yet to see some NPCs, and just the other day I missed Gulliver's UFO by like, an inch! Kweh.
Katrina is improved, and I'm liking Dr. Shrunk. ~
Oooh.
I'm also happy to say that Spectre's fossil collection in the museum is roughly 75% finished. I have about 4 paintings in the gallery, and the aquariums are filled with just about all the fish you can catch during this time of year. Haven't been fishing for a while, come to think of it >o< AND I HAVE YET TO CATCH THE ELUSIVE POP EYED GOLD FISH. scream is it even in season?
I've also heard rumour of a shark ...

Life is placid in Spectre ... No fuedal wars or lover's riffs. Rumour is that Bella and Pudge are seeing each other though. O__O
The coconut and orange trees took root and have finally finished growing todayyyyy~~~ Spectre looks colourful ...

This past week or so has been crazy hectic, hence the lack of updating u_u Roald moved out the day before yesterday, and everyone seems to have moved on to completely irrelevant hobbies. eek
I've been hanging around Melba, Monique, and Rasher a lot lately ..
Redd came by on Wednesday, and I haven't gotten on today to see what else is new ...
Ponga got his side room, and has decorated it quite garishly gonk With dharmas and lockers and trash cans and gas pumps and etc.
I've got quite a nice pile of loooovely pink roses along my house, which is also .. pink o_o
Will update later with news from today! ~~~
EDIT!
Soooo after all that, I decided to stop by Brewster's.. And ran into Phyllis! gonk for the second time. She was complaning about her dark roast and mumbling about work. I've already seen Rover, Harriet, and Phyllis taking their coffee now ... I wonder who else drops by the cafe?

Later on I payed off about 20 on my debt (>.< i like to take things slow ok) and reaquainted myself with Truffles. n_n

HAPPY YAY DAY rofl !
I dished out compliments to all my fellow animals (including such classics such as "banana hearted", "angelic churro", "pretty princess", "true Cassanova", "fab fashionista", and "crrrazy coool") Except Bella. I called her a "rat face" (technically it's not really an insult, since she kinda, is one) and she positively gushed about how thoughtful I was. It wasn't enough to send me on a guilt trip though. twisted
I think I'm slowly developing a girl crush on Rasher eek !!! Except, well, he's not a girl. But I'm not madly in love with him. He said his dream was "to have someone waiting at home for him at the end of the day"

How can you not fall for that kind of sentiment?
Especially from a fool like Rasher, who's usually barking out gruff retorts in your face. I mean, honestly.
Later that day, I went to take my daily coffee and saw ... none other but .. LYLE?!
He sat, completely disheartened, his game face melting away as he lamented about the IRS and his lack of a friendly demeanor. I felt so sad, and pitied him so, I could have sat all day listening to him and learning from his lessons of life. Like the ***** mailman I would never have, who would teach me the values of a moral uprbringing and tell me "not today popcat", I was just so awestruck by Lyle, and have a new understanding of the buck toothed insurance man.
Oh, it struck my heart.
I also shot down about 395775187 presents today, and was on the lookout for Gulliver. Despite my fierce efforts, he was no where to be seen.
I think I sent about 20 letters today too .. They would keep coming since I had to send so many replies, and since I had to reply to the replies, it was a never ending vicious cycle! I stopped when Melba was chatting about her love for synthpop.
All in all, it was a pretty productive day.
It would have ended beautifully, but right before I was able to enter my home to save, Bella ran up to me, declaring her undying affection and thrusting a photograph of herself in my hands before scurrying away.
What a rat face. confused

Today I saw Pascal for the second time along Spectre's shores .. His little backflip bit is so very coool. rofl
I was pretty tired today so I only got to watering flowers and purchasing a couple more useless items for my already overstocked wardrobe TT____TT
I have a red turnip saved for Wendell ... :O
He hasn't come by yet ... I wonder if he'll still be a round glutton?
It was so cuute watching him eat the fish O___O
All the fish parts were flying everywhere.
Dotty is moving ... I didn't plead for her to stay because Truffles is pretty much like her except more huffy. We haven't had a new resident in like 2 weeks.
Haah yeah but it's not like any of th other town members go anywhere either ... I'm always noticing Melba and Monique trying to leave, and they're my favorites. I always feel bad when I make em stay ... u__u But the day after it's like they don't remember anything ...
How depressing o~
