The library is huge, it runs the entire expanse of the castle, buried in the basement, above the dungeon. It wasn't always down there but in the 13th century it was run by a fledgling vampire, a very knowledgeable man, and even after he moved on it remained there.

"Yes." James, said, pulling off his shirt and walking past the librarian into her back room. He eyed his slightly scarred, but well toned upper body in the mirror and turned around, frowning at the thick slash across his side. He was just lucky that he was a paladin, anyone who hadn't been through what he'd been through would have crumbled under the wound. James cursed, and through his shirt aside, it was ruined, another one. If he didn't stop ruining his shirts Carina was going to notice something. James listened carefully, but the librarian, Ms Rosalie Caster, hadn't said anything since he left the room. James walked across to a cabinet and opened it, there were all sorts of things in the closet, from a standard first aid kit to some dark magic methods of healing. James had never used anything worse than grey magic to heal wounds, and thankfully he wouldn't even have to go that far tonight. He pulled a jar off the second shelf from the top and opened it. A fine silver powder spilled onto his hand from inside and James wiped it across his wound. A moment passed and the wound healed instantly. He smiled and grabbed a t-shirt from the top of the wardrobe. He had spares just incase. He pulled it on and headed back out. "I'm glad you two have gotten chatty." he said sarcastically. "I know she's an Andras but she seems ok... Besides she was chosen, not like we have a choice." James Smiled, leaning against the counter of the librarian. "No, no, its not that." the librarian frowned, eying the girl with a finger on her lip. "There is something about her..." "She's right there... you don't have to talk about her as if she weren't." James Pointed out. The thirty something year old librarian looked as if she'd just been clicked out of a daze. "Sorry, dear, but... do you have an aunt or... or is your mother a woman named Luna Mologne?" She asked, frowning.

Remaining where she was, leaned against the wall, Feira stared boldly at James as he stripped off his shirt and walked into the back room. The cut was fierce, angry looking, and still bleeding. She wondered idly how he'd managed to act as if it weren't there all this time. The dragon blood, she had never smelled anything like it before, and she had smelled many various species' blood...it must have kept her from smelling the blood of this Vyrkin...otherwise she wasn't shy, she hadn't noticed it before now. Not that she really even cared.
Once he was out of sight, however, Feira turned her gaze back to the spindly librarian who continued to stare at her. Not knowing what to say, Feira remained silent, merely glaring. What did the woman think she was looking at? What did she want? Was it that bad that a Manesh Vayu had been chosen? She rolled her eyes, realizing how she thought of being chosen as if it were a good thing.
Just then, James came back and joined them and Feira felt her cheeks redden in irritation as they exchanged words about her. Finally, Castor posed a question.
"My mother? What does my mother have to do with anything?" The mention had struck a nerve. Her mother was all she had left in the world, the only sort of family she had at all...and she did everything she could to make sure no one knew where she was or that she was even still alive. It seemed the woman already knew just who her mother was anyway, giving a name couldn't hurt, but if she pressed..."Yes. My mother is Luna Malogne...but I don't see how that's any business of yours..." She shoved off the wall with her shoulder and crossed the room and turned to face them, being sure to be close to the door.

Rosalie- Ms Caster, smiled, tears welling at the corners of her eyes. "Dear, you look so much like your mother, it's unbelievable!" She said, moving her hands to her mouth. "I- We-" "Ms Caster?" James asked, thoroughly confused. "Are you ok? Did you know Fiera's mother?" "Yes." Ms Caster said moving across to Fiera and stopping just in front of her. "Your mother and I were best friends in school. Primary school and Kuldagens. I... I thought-" Rosalie turned to James. "You remember my year out? the friend I travelled with?" "Yes." James admitted, recalling the story, vaguely. "The one who was blown away by that phantasmagorian?" James asked. The librarian nodded and turned back to Fiera. "I thought your mother was dead. A dark horror known as a phantasmagorian attacked us while we were backpacking across the west country, it surprised us with an explosion, sent me into a different dimension... when I returned all I found of your mother was her satchel, by a pile of bones."
James frowned, Phantasmagorians were notorious for stripping flesh from bone and leaving only the white mesh standing the test of time. It was understandable that Rosalie thought her friend dead... what had happened to her however was the bigger mystery. "What happened to her?" he asked, the room in general. "Did your mother ever relate a similar story to you, Fiera?"

Feira frowned and turned, leaning against a table, half sitting on it as she looked back at the Librarian and this Paladin...So this was was Rosie...Feira chewed on her lower lip thoughtfully looking the woman over, weighing in her mind whether or not she could trust her or not...Her fang caught the light, sparkled once and she arched one brow before finally speaking.
"She met my father." the girl said, her voice omitting any emotion that she felt. "He was the leader of a nearby village, he heard of the attack and came with a few men in a heroic leap of stupidity to rescue her. The creature destroyed three of his people, leaving the bones of the one you saw." She sighed and dropped her gaze to the floor, leaving out the second half of that story and any details she could afford before glaring up at both of them. "Any other questions?" She crossed her arms. "Or can I go now?
Her mother was still alive, as much as one could be under the circumstances. Feira said she had been rescued, but what she didn't say was the man that rescued her mother, her father, was bitten by a Vampire three years later, just before Feira was conceived. Her mother, Luna, already being a Manesh Vayu, joining with a man bitten by one of the blood suckers...that, well,
Feira growled, frowning deeply. She shook her head and smoothed her hair back into place as she had styled it that morning. Everyone new she was a Manesh Vayu but no one knew who her father, what her father was.

"No, we're done here, you can go." James sighed. "but remember that the ring will hold you to your training, and you cannot tell anyone without one of those rings who you are." He called after her, watching her leave. He turned back to the librarian, who was no longer teary behind her spectacles. "So what do you think?" he asked. "bit rough around the edges. Had some bad experiences in the past with hunters I imagine. she thought I captured her to kill her. Though in general she seems to be smart, resilient, strong, not my level of strength yet of course, though I have fought gods and walked away alive so I'm not expecting that." "Yes, Yes, James We know, you fought Hades and Hel off single handedly while you awaited backup from Zeus and Odin. You can stop reminding us. You didn't actually slay them." Rosalie sighed, pulling off her glasses and cleaning them. "Just their sons and daughter." James pointed out. "Yes, you are a demi-god slayer. Can we please move on?" "Of course." James smiled. and allowed the librarian to form her opinion. "Did you see where her ring was?" she asked. "Yes. Though I think that it might change over the next couple of days when she's calmed down.My ring was on the other hand when I first started after all, I was angry and scared... wanted to lash out..." James explained. "Yes... that's true... still... I'd watch out." She advised. "Have I ever not?" James retorted, grabbing up his bag, which he had left behind during his hunt. "Carina and the guys will be wondering where I am." "They aren't just used to you disappearing by now?" "Strangely no. They always require an excuse." "And today it will be..?" James thought for a moment. "ah yeah, I got Carina a flower from the forest, we've been together 18 months now, it felt like she wanted something so... yeah." James shrugged his eyebrows and turned to leave. "It was a black cursing again, by the way. A white dragon, pure and beautiful, but I couldn't cleanse it without killing it. His name was Tayrin, told me he did not know who cursed him, only that I should be wary, the scent he smelled afterwards was one of a higher power... like a paladin, but not one." The librarian frowned, not sure what to make of this Not-Paladin as James walked calmly out of the library..
