I've decided to put up the Rules in this Subforum as well, in case anyone forgets, also, I will put up a link to the Chara/OOC thread, as well. And again, this is just in case... So, well, here we go! 1/2 Prince RP OOC/Chara threadThere's the link, and below will be the rules, which I shall place under the Mods for this RP... I may or may not add more Mods, but that will all depend on you guys, so... yeah... Oh, yeah, almost, I will try to post any changes, like, major changes that happen, but for the weather and everything else... yeah. You'll have to go to the main thread... sweatdrop

So if you're asked to stop cursing/cussing/badmouthing(etc), please be respectful. Either that, or use swear words only when needed. No need to be immature and use it every other word or so.
※ No cybering in this rp, and don't have any of the doing anything above PG-13/14/16. Ok?
※ Be respectful of others, and don’t take what happens in the thread too personally =]~Literacy~※ Literacy is appreciated. Need a translation? *Bob ran fast* <-- NO! Actually write down what they are doing. Example:
Bob ran down the hall as fast as his legs could carry him. He had to run as quickly as he could, otherwise he may end up being too late.
So we understand literacy, right?
※ I like good grammar and spelling. It's understandable if you try to spell a word and don't know how it's spelled (as we all know that does happen), or if you mess up (ex: tired, keys blurring, etc, but I do appreciate people who do go that far just to post). Just please make sure that if we try to sound it out that it makes sense.
※ No god-modding or controlling the characters of another user, unless said user has allowed you to do so. For example, a player's out, and has asked someone to shadow their character for them... just PLEASE INFORM ME OF THIS CHANGE! EVEN IF ITS ONLY TEMPORARY!!!
※ All characters have their strengths and weaknesses, remember that please.
※ When typing out of character, take it to the OOC chat. OCC chat means you use ((these)), {{these}}, [[these]], or an area at the bottom of your format that says OCC: and is seperate from the rest of your post. Ex:
[post]
OCC: [out of character speech]
※ If there's something you want to do (like get your character kidnapped or what ever), do me a favor, don't just do it. Anything drastic must be run by me. That means don't have some one come out of no where and hurt people/charas with out my consent. If this happens, then I will give you a warning and delete your post.
※ If you plan on doing something that requires another's character, please, get their permission first.
※ Ok, this will seem a bit odd, but please make your posts pretty. I like seeing formats when people rp. ^_^ It doesn't have to be anything fancy, and no page stretchers. A simple name and picture will work just as fine, too, but it always looks awesome when people use post formats that are decorative. And again, please make sure it doesn't stretch the page. ^_^
※ No overly bright colors for your typing, and nothing microscopic. I would prefer if you use a font that's between sizes 9-12 in your typing. (12 is standard. 9 is this small .) We don't want people breaking their eyeballs straining to read post... So no faint or hard to see colors either... please...~Killing/Deaths/PKing/Rebirth Points~※ No PKing is allowed. Period. I know there is 'PK'ing -or for those who are new to the term 'Player Killing"- in the manga, and other games, but you CANNOT have a job that is to PK. Yes, there can be deaths and being respawned at the Rebirth Point, but that does not mean you can MINDLESSLY kill players in the game... (As much fun as it may be)
※ Deaths -there are no real life deaths, though your character may die in battle, but please, I would prefer if you just surrendered -especially in contests. Being defeated and killed in events, and such, its ok if its the person/team you are fighting against, but really, no pointedly saying that your character killed the other character, please don't God Mod... Seriously, no one likes people who make someone else's character do stuff. 1) It's not nice, and 2) its AGAINST THE RULES.
※ Rebirth Points, the places where you can be rebirthed, etc, etc. For those of you who don't read or play those sort of games (of which I am included, if its playing games XP) these are where your characters come back to life when when your game character is killed...
※ Also, as to the 'lose one level' while in the game if you die... I don't think we need that... I would prefer not to play with 'levels' like in some actual game this is an RP for pete's sake! DX Also, there will be no LEVELs, only whether you are a newbie, beginner, intermediate, advanced, level, etc.~Commitment~※ This is a long-term roleplay, meaning if you join, you stay. Can’t handle that? Then leave... Please.
※ I expect a post at least one every few days (between 2-3 days). If you don’t post within a week, I'll PM you a warning. I'm serious when I talk dedication!
※ I want this roleplay to last for a long time, and to do that, I need serious roleplayers.
※ If you need to leave for a while, tell me and also the about amount of time that you’ll be away so that I can make changes accordingly, or find someone to 'shadow' or 'ghost-write' for you, someone you trust, but still, tell me, so I know and don't give someone a warning when they did nothing wrong...
※ Warnings! Same ol' same ol', three strikes and you're out! General rules, yadda yadda, no godmodding, doing stuff you're not supposed to without permission, etc. Those kind of things will get you a warning. Minor stuff, will be worth a half strike point, like breaking a rule by accident or something like that and its obvious you didn't mean to or mean it. Bigger things will be a whole point...
And I will be keeping track of this! So don't think I won't!
※ By the way, as far as being kicked out, simple ways to get kicked out (Please don't do this just to piss me off and see if I will... That's just plain mean):
-If I warn you three time about the same thing... Within a week...
-If you don't post for, like, three weeks, or a month, and don't tell me, or don't have a good reason when you come back, in case you could not reach a computer and tell me. A month is a LONG time people!
-As far as the long term MIA stat, if you are missing for a certain amount of time over the limit and didn't contact me, then I will "Strike" your profile and if you don't give me at least ONE good reason that does NOT sound like Farce, I will delete it... (But its not likely if I know you are a good player and have a good reason. Seriously, I'm not mean! I'm just strict about things... Certain things... stare )

※ You can start in either thread, the "Game" thread, which will be the Second Life thread, or the "Real Life" thread, which is where you post if not in 'game mode'.
※ Changing Threads. In order to make things less confusing, when you make a post, before you switch threads, then please post either "[your character's name] Logging In" or "[character name] Logging Into Second Life" if you are switching to the game thread, and if you are 'exiting' Second Life, and moving to the "Real Life" thread, then please post "[SL username] Logging Off/Out" please. So that its less confusing and we know who's where.
※ For those who are playing a character in just one of the threads, like for the "Game" thread, all characters permenantly in there will be "NPCs" or non player characters because they don't have a "Real Life" character, and for characters that'll be posting in the "Real Life" thread only, then they will just be considered people, or "Human's". As such.
※ And About GMs, and the like, yes, they will exist, but I will only allow a limited number of them. 4 OC GMs -or "Game Masters"- will be allowed, all they do is "find bugs in the game and help players with problems" also, "Admins" will have Real Life characters but have to know what's going on in the "Game" thread, so for those I will allow maybe 5, since those take more dedications and NO YOU DO NOT GET SPECIAL PRIVILEGES if you are one of those two. But possible, I may make you a Mod, for the threads, if I think that you are 'worthy' of the title...
※ Also, all GMs will be either regular players acting as Hidden GMs, or actual GMs, that are just GMs and have no real class. So there is no cheating. (XP Lol, sounds like a real game doesn't it?)
~Profiles~
※ Profiles should be sent to ME, and no one else! Title them "Legend of Blood Elf" if your character is an Original Character(that will have a 'real-life' and 'in game' chara, "Legend of Prince" for Canons, and "Second Life" if its an other not in the above and is in Game only (Second Life Game thread), and "My Only Life" for those that are for only in the 'Real Life' Thread.

※ No, wait! Almost forgot! About events, and tournaments in the RP. The Number One winner in the events in the RP will win an actual prize on Gaia as well as stuff in the RP for Second Life, for example, in the Contest in 1/2 Prince (manga) the prize is land that, after the Odd Squad Win, they turn into Infinite City, so in the game events, the winners might get a weapon or something...
And the Grand Prize winner may get gold for their Avatar on Gaia, or some other such things, details will be posted in the "đąy, ωεąτħεя, & cuяяεητ εvεητ" and when there are events, then I will also put the rules for the events there as well as in the RP thread, as explanations, so... Yeah, make sure to check up when stuff happens...

Post Formating Notes Hello, it has recently come to our (me and Saruka's) attention that some of you have made some miss formatted posts. It is VERY important to check the formatting of your posts BEFORE submitting. Why you might ask, because a miss-format can cause accidental page stretching witch is against the rules as a major infraction. From now on any obvious errors in post formating such as miss-located pictures, text that is obviously miss-placed, ect, even image links that are not displaying anything but text, these will all be counted as minor offenses, and earn you 1/2 strike against you on the black-list. Remember, 3 strikes and you're out of the RP. All members will receive a one-time forgiveness for this rule, to expire March 5th.
