Moments of my life, piled and collaberated into what is now my present, choices, consequences and rewards are
my life, leading me headlong in to this moment, this single moment. The preparation of experiences and heart breaks
fortify my senses into an armor of will. Now we come to a climax and nothing is left to learn, nothing to be gain, just the
simple question of "Was" remains........ was it all enough or will this hammer fall from my hands and be cast from the
world forever.
"By the Gods, you shall not succeed!!!!!!! For Odin..... FOR ASGUARD!!!!!!!!!!!!"
For the first time we see our hero as he stands, a man in his own right, a rightious warrior, the rightful owner of
Miagnier. He is all but beaten in this final battle, the last line of defense.... he has proven to be a sturdy force. Vibrant,
flowing energy flows from the hammer as he walks forward to face death..... to seal his fate, to do what no one.... God or
human was willing to do.
"You have done me proud Marcus....... You have done us all proud." The whispers of a long haired old man flow
through the wind to the hero's ears. Eddies start to grow violent as the two opponents approach., tearing up the streets,
throwing cars, shaking buildings.
"A thousand years I've waited for the fall of that accursed brother of mine.... do you really think that I can be
defeated by such an imputant simpletan as yourself?" Loki said with a growing smirk his laughter echoes in the wind all
around the young man, battered and bruised from battles past.
"Not by me Loki but by my symbol. Justice, purity, rightiousness. Do you know why it took you so long to defeat
Thor? Because good is unwavering and unflitching, uncomprimising and undefeatable. You defeated the man-God but
here stands a new foe, a mear shell of him, I am guided by your father for one purpose, correcting the mistake Thor
made in sparing you for so long. This is not vengence, simply justice.... protection.... self preservation..... something no
imortal could understand!" Marcus swung the hammer wildly, thrusting it through the air at Loki. A skillful dodge helped
Loki evade the weapon. The young warrior charged forth into battle. The hammer caused an enormous explosion as it
collided with a nearby car.
"Foolish child! That was your only chance to best me in com-" Marcus's fist firmly planted on Loki's left cheek,
The God mearly flinched, he continued to barrage him as hard as he could with his right hook, over and over and over,
loud thunderous claps exploded from the force but it simply had no effect. Loki, becoming rather displeased with this
young youth's disreguard for his taunting, grabbed the by the collar lifting him over his head. "That was a dirty trick!
You should have been on my side." He laghed, throwing Marcus down the street with the flick of the wrist. Crack after
blood churning crack rang loudly through the wind as Marcus hit the pavement repeatedly, leaving many holes.
"Come to me Miagnier!" Markus called as the hammer dislodged itself from the car and flew to it's new owner.
Loki attempted to stop it's retrieval by grabbing it but missed barely.. Marcus stayed on one knee, using Miagnier for
support as his left eye swelled shut. "What do I do? He's too prepared for anything I might do with the hmmer.... and
anything REALLY suprising is uneffective." Marcus gasped in suprise as Loki showed up behind him.
"No you know, you can't win." Marcus swung behind himself, falling onto his butt. Loki jumped up, and landed
on Marcus, landing blow after crushing blow on his torso, driving Marcus slowly into the street.
"Eat lightning!" He yelled as a lightning bolt struck them both, only effecting Loki. Loki stood up and turned his
head, cracking his neck. "Pathetic.... you are no Thor. A warrior's cause is just as strong as his power. You're cause
is a futile as your attacks." He let out a loud taunting laugh that cracked the windows o building nearby and sent the
winds into a frenzy. "Mine on the other hand..... is almighty!" He went to grab marcus but marcus had other plans.
Marcus swug the hammer solidly into Loki's knee, senting him into a kneel but he didn't have time, for Marcus
rolled backwards from his laying position to a kneeling one as well, jumping up and bringing with him a well placed,
crushing, hammer upper-cut apon Loki's chin. The blow kncked Loki out of the small crater he had formed and onto
his back. He was almost atounded that the little twirp had hit him! The force of the swing sent Marcus up onto the
twenty-seven story, building behind him. Before marcus could hit the roof, Loki was there waiting for him.
"Now boy! You taste lightning as you say." He said summoning lightning of his own and striking him, sending
him easily four stories into the building. He laid there, in his crater as wires lit up the dark room. He had knocked out
the lights on all the floors simply with that attack? How?! Marcus licked his wet lips, the hardy taste of Iron filled his
senses...... blood. A lot of it. Water also.... it poured over him as he slowly got up. Pouring water covered him and forced
him down little by little in his weakened state. He could see the lights from the other buildings through the shattered
windows. It helped but things were just too dark! He slowly made it to his feet. The wind howled around him, sending him
Loki's message.
"Why do you fight? You know you are going to die... you've seen it. That hammer has given you many things to fight
me..... but it has not given you enough..... I think it chose you because of your prior gift..... your dream sight. You dream
of the future... but what you didn't know is this is th future as it will be.,..." Blowns engrossed his body, too fast to be seen.
It was as if the wind shielded Loki from his sight. Gut, face, legs, back of knee, uppercut, throut slam, a simle toss through
the wall into the next room.
"This...... is....... hopeless...." Marcus barely had the life to say as he struggled to get up. His arm was turned behind
his back, bending him into submission, a knee was firmly planted into his back.
"Yes, that's it.... you finally understand my child. It is hopeless to fight fate... no one defies the wil of the gods.
Especially a low life, human like you!" He bent hs arm father up his back, reveling at the sound of his tendens stretching.
"Damn you Loki!" Marcus screamed. "Miagnier!!!!!" He called, the hammer jutted up and came to him, dispelling of
Loki. He grabbed his hammer and rolled to his feet. "I'll show you how weak my cause is!!!! I'll show you what a low life can
do!!!!" He summoned great power to the hammer, causing it to glow with tremendous force. The building began to shake and
waver as Marcus lunged forward, landing a blow, right into Loki's lower left ribs. The God let out a string of vile curses as
Marcus continued his visious onslaught, barraging him mercilessly. For the first time, Loki was in distress, trying feebly to
block and dodge.
"Go back to the hell you came from!" Marcus yelled swinging as hard as he could for the finishing blow of his combo.
Loki grabbed the handle of Miagnier, kicking Marcus in th gut, causing him to vomit, then flipping Marcus out the window by
a reversal of wieght. Marcus was disarmed and began to fall. Loki, who was still holding onto the hammer, suddenly started
to fall through all the floors with the hammer. With rythmic tones Loki boomed through layer and layer and layer of industrial
flooring.
With a desperate plea Marcus called for his hammer as he continued to fall. Loki and the hammer viered off course
and approached Marcus at break-neck speed. Marcus grabbed the hammer, causing volts of siring pain to go through Loki.
It wasn't enough. The hammer's inertia sent them flying to the other side of the street, towards another set of buildings.
Marcus spun and kicked Loki, landing the blows on Loki's face and cracked ribs, repeatedly until he let go and fell as Marcus
safely reached the other building. He slid in, back first, sliding into what appeared to be a buisness office as he crashed into
a desk and then furniture. He hit the wall and let out a scream of pain. There was a loud boom as what Marcus could only
hope was Loki crashing into the pavement below.
"Please.... let this be...... over......"
(Sorry but it's not done... you'll know when I add more. Tell me what you think!)
