~FLASHBACK~
"Baah, it's really hot here.....are you sure you're not hot in that, Rontu?"
"I-I'm fine...really, I am...."
Demetrius, Rontu's Guardian, was with him shopping for clothes, the A/C in the store was broken, so the place stank of sweat and the air was humid and thick... As they walked, two loud parents were arguing about peaces and swimming pools...
"Now that I think about it, we don't have a bathing suit for you. Granted your clothes don't get affected much and I know you love water, but still..."
He glanced down to the boy who shyly held onto the side of the cart, and he veered him to the Swimming clothes...
Avalon, Rontu's Guardian Uncle, chuckled lightly and decided to find some clothes for Rontu...
He had Rontu try one on, but when the boy stepped out....
They were swimming trunks, but the boy's torso... his legs, his arms....
"You are NOT going out in public like that."
Rontu looked confused at Dem's sudden outburst and merely changed into another that Avalon handed him, but soon Dem grew ticked.
"Dammit, go pick something out WITHOUT Avalon's help!"
"O...Okay..."
Rontu went to search and Avalon sat next to his brother, who hit him hard on the head and called him a *****? A boy's gotta look good for the ladies."
"He's a ******** kid, not a whore dammit! I don't' want old men staring at him when he walks around! Those shorts shout AT LEAST cover his thighs!"
"Is....is this good? I... I like it a lot..."
Both men turned and...stared.
~ENDFLASHBACK~
'And in the end, he's wearing a One piece girls bathing suit.... he didn't want anything else, and looked so downhearted when I told him no... I had to get it. At least he hasn't hit puberty yet... and it covers him well enough...'
Dem thought as he sat on the chairs and watched Rontu head to the... Diving board?!
He sat up, watching the other jump, flip, and become water before he splashed.
"...Huh, guess he's in his element...."
HE watched hte boy swim around underwater after changing back, a bright smile on his fae. For a little kid to swim around without a floaty... Many stared, and Dem beamed with pride, chuckling as Rontu swam like a fish underwater, popping out only to breathe and smile at Dem occasionally.
'Such a shy little thing he is, won't even tell me to watch him like other kids do....'

River had begged and begged Eno to take him to the swimming pool as soon as he heard there was one near by. River loved hopping around in the rain puddles, but he wanted to really try swimming for once. So Eno took him out to the store to get him a pair of swim trunks and some arm floaties before they headed out to the local pool.
"Don't run, okay? It's really wet and you can trip." Eno released River's hand as they entered the pool area. "'Kay Dadda." River grinned and then carefully tiptoed to the stairs leading into the shallow end. Eno made himself comfortable on a chair where he could watch River's every move, just in case swimming turned out to be a bad idea... he was just a toddler, after all.
River stepped into the water and shivered a bit, finding it a bit too cold for his liking at first before he stepped onto the next step. He chewed on his lip a little, debating on whether to keep the painfully slow pace of stepping down one step at a time, or just jump in all at once.
Jumping in all at once sounded best. "Dadda watch me!" He grinned widely before closing his eyes, taking a deep breath, and then leaping into the water. Eno just about had a heart attack, but relaxed as soon as River came back to the surface and started rubbing at his eyes to get the water away.
Pleased with himself, he began to paddle around the pool, apparently swimming was something that came naturally to the storm cloud boy.

(Omg that was so cute @w@)
Rontu dove off the diving board again(by now the life guards weren't worried that he was a child, after Dem spoke to them and nearly frightened them out of their skin) and he didn't surface until he swam from the bottom of the deep end to the shallow end.
Bursting up he took a huge breath and pushed his wet strands from his face, blinking at a little boy in floatys he had just appeared infront of.
"Oh, hi there~!"
He smiled to him, pulling his hair over one shoulder and twisting it enough for droplets to fall and merge back with the pool.
"Almost bumped into you, sorry there."
He nodded his head softly, smiling as he watched him swim a bit. He himself was a good swimmer, though it surprised him to see a toddler, a tiny thing like him, swim as well.

"Ah!" River stopped all movement as Rontu came to the surface. He hadn't expected anyone to come from below. Before responding he stared down below himself, just to make sure there wasn't anyone else there. "Issokay." He finally responded as he looked up.
River's attention was distracted again as someone else went off the diving board. He stared with wide eyes, completely mesmerized by the sight of someone leaping off of a board and making a big splash in the water. He forgot Rontu entirely for a second and wiggled about until Eno came into his sights. "Dadda! I wanna try too!" He pointed one little finger at the board, and excited expression on his face.
His voice was drowned out by the sound of other kids laughter, so Eno didn't even look up. River of course took this as a "yes you may go dive off of the board" and started to paddle his way over there.
[ohman, Eno will die if he actually does it. XD]

Rontu had turned to the edge to climb out when he heard the boy voice....
'I... think he's a bit too young for that....'
Rontu thought softly, staring at the toddler, then back at the diving board.
"Ah... you can't wear floaties on the d-diving board, so.. maybe you shouldn't go on..."
He warned softly, hoping that would sadden the boy and perhaps get him to do something else. Maybe Rontu could even play with him in a splash fight or something-anything to get the boy's thoughts deterred from the diving board.
He looekd to his own father, his Guardian, who, after watching Rontu play for the first five minutes, was reading a newspaper and chatting with another man, showing him something in the paper, probably to mock it, and the two would laugh or something.
Normally, the life guards wouldn't let kids or toddlers onto the board, but after seeing how Rontu, a little boy of five, swim like a pro, they probably wouldn't think twice about letting a little boy jump off, though they'd tell him to take the floaties off.

"Huh?" River stopped paddling and wiggled around to face Rontu. "Why not? I wanna try too..." A frown spread over his face immediately. Why couldn't he go off the diving board like all the other kids?

Yoko was being brought to the pool. Something that had taken quiet some time, considering some of the trouble she had gotten into. Yet maturity seemed to be sipping in, and the thought of her drowning someone else was... well, lets say it was far fetched. While she might have been mischievous, Yoko had done nothing to prove she intended on hurting another meta.
But yet, coming in, a hand in tow, Mnejing (Yoko's own guardian) following suit, Syth and Yoko seemed to be in for a day in vacation. Luckily, she had come prepared, a blow up raft for her to relax on. Though, if Alice were there, she'd be able to convince Syth to have a bit more fun. Though, it'd need to be much, much later.
Yet, for now, she pulled Yoko near a bench. The daughter giving out a defiant whine before Syth shooed her.
'The water might swallow you if you're not ready!' Syth wanred poor Yoko, who immediately seemed on edge. Staring at the clear liquid.
"But Nanna... it looks like the same water I drink," Yoko replied, as one of the deflated floaties was pushed in. Soon being pumped up.
'But there's a lot more, and these will keep you safe' Syth was quick to reply.
"I don't see how..." Yoko responded, Mnejing remaining as quiet as ever. Yet, upon seeing a rather familiar face, was more than excited to begin running off. His feet clacking along the concrete ground, watching as Rontu swam through the water like a fish. How mesmerizing...
'There, all done' Syth patted the new pink floaties, Yoko not one bit amused at them, but she was being supervised by her Nana now, so she couldn't try and be fickle about taking the floaties off. Instead, she slowly made her way her way off to the poor. Slowly crawling down the steps. Though, as the water trickled up her legs. It seemed to get colder. Oh, why did her mother ever think this was a fun idea!
