The Kitchen is where all of the Metas come to make a meal during non-meal hours, there room is open so they can get something to eat should their tummies complain as long as they make it themselves.

Rasiel had walked into the kitchen, taking a quick look to see if anyone was there, and also where he needed to go to start making the food. He walked over into pantry and did a little searching as he pulled out some pancake mix and set it down on the counter, as a small puff of white came from the top. Rasiel stared at it for a moment with a frowned face as he sighed and looked around. He didn't want to get the mix all over his clothes as he took pride in keeping them clean and tidy. Odd enough, his hair was a different story as it was still sticking up in odd places as he had never taken the time to brush his hair before getting up to make the pancakes. He rummaged through a closet for a moment for anything to help that, as he could only find apron that were obviously meant for girls. Rasiel stared at it for a moment, weighing the option of wearing a girly apron to getting his clothes dirty. He found the latter to be worse as he put on the apron, then walked over to the fridge, grabbed some eggs and milk, and walked back over to the mix. He pulled out a bowl and began to mix the ingredients. "Hey, can you turn on the stove and get it ready for the pancakes?" he asked Deskri, looked back at him. The only thing that would make Rasiel look even less manly would be if he had been wearing a pair of pink bunnies slipper, which luckily he wasn't.

Deskri followed after Rasiel, lagging behind but kept his hold on Rasiel's hand. Once inside the kitchen he immediately found a place to sit down, finding that he was easily winded from the walk. It was probably the blood loss, but that wasn't normal... Usually he was recovered by the next day and since he wasn't this time, he was a little worried.
"Huh?" He looked up, having not been paying attention while Rasiel was getting everything ready. He took a few seconds of silence, staring at the apron before a smirk cracked over his face. "S-sure." It took all of his willpower to keep from giggling like a fool at the sight of Rasiel in a girl's apron, and thankfully he didn't give in to the temptation of laughing. Instead he slid off of his stool and shuffled over to the stove and flipped it on, and then to the high setting. "They couldn't be bothered to get uh.. manlier aprons, huh?" The smirk was still present on his face, though it was probably for different reasons.

"I guess they just might all be dirty.." he responded, the only answer he could think of at the time. He had been mixing the ingredients together, then moved to the ready stove, grabbing the handle of the pan. "Thanks!" he then poured in some batter and waited for a minute. He made sure not to let the pancake stick to the pan as he then gave a small smirk. He then flicked the pan, causing the pancake to come up out of the pan and flip over, landing right back into the pan in one whole gracefully movement. He waited a for more seconds and then retrieved the pancake from the pan with a spatula, setting it on a ready plate. He repeated the process, beginning to get a little more fancier in his flipping technique, obviously beginning to show off. He chuckled slightly as he had soon gone through the whole batter and the pancakes were ready. "We'll need some syrup and butter. Ooo, and maybe some strawberries!" he commented, perking up about the idea of strawberries. He really liked them a lot, as it was something he could never resist the temptation of. He brought the plate over to the table in the kitchen and walked over to the drawers to search for silverware, figuring Deskri would go to find the other items.

Desrki watched from his spot at the table without even bothering to hide the awe on his face. Rasiel could quite possibly be a better cook than Sonnet.... no, was that even possible? Sonnet made the best food, like, the best food EVER. He'd just have to see how Rasiel's pancakes compared to Sonnet's. It was a ridiculous idea, but he was curious about it anyway.
"O-oh, yeah...!" Deskri pushed himself up again and wobbled over to the pantry to get the syrup, and then over to the fridge so he could get the butter and some strawberries for Rasiel. He wasn't particularly fond of them, but he didn't hate them... He shuffled back over to the table and set the items down on it before sitting down again. "I haven't tried strawberries with pancakes... is it good?" He glanced over at Rasiel, a hint of a smile on his face.

Rasiel prepared everything for them to begin eating, taking the maple syrup after it was set down, and pour it over his own pancakes. He stole one of the strawberries as he ate one, already giving in to the temptation to eat them. "Of course it's good. I think anything with strawberries tastes good." he replied with a chuckle. "You should really try these strawberries, they're delicious." He then grinned to himself as he took another strawberry and placed it in between his lip and leaned over pushing the strawberry gently up to Deskri's lip. Rasiel winked at him, just having a little fun while it lasted. Knowing how their usual lives were, it wouldn't take long before something caused everything to come crashing down around them once more. The least he could do was enjoy this moment with Deskri instead of letting it go to waste.

Deskri opened up the container of butter, preferring to butter his pancakes before putting syrup on them. "So strawberries are essentially your brownies..." He looked up with a grin, as if he'd just figured something out. Deskri's face must have turned three shades of red before settling on a deep one as Rasiel attempted to transfer a strawberry using only their mouths. He, of course, gave in and took the strawberry and ate it. "Mmm... these are good." He sighed a little, taking a moment to enjoy the strawberry before he took the syrup and poured it over his pancakes.
He cut off a piece with his fork and then took a bite. These pancakes... were definitely just as good as Sonnet's, which meant to Deskri that he was probably going to get addicted to Rasiel's cooking, like he had with Sonnet's. "These're really good." He commented with a grin. "Mmn... Sonnet's in the nurses office right now... I think later I'm gonna make some brownies 'n take them down there." He nodded a little, beginning to hint that he wanted to go spend time with her while she recovered.

Rasiel had snuck in a kiss after the Deskri had eaten the strawbeery, a small sign of his evergrowing affection. He smiled, feeling like he was having a pretty good day so far. "Of course.. I love strawberries.." he replied with a wink. He began to spread some butter on the sticking mess of pancakes, still not even bothering to take the apron off. He started to eat them, licking his lips with every bite, enjoying them for the deliciousness that they were.
He listened to Deskri mention Sonnet, and he paused for a moment. "..sonnet.." he whispered softly, frowning only a bit before turning a concerned eye to Deskri. "That sounds good. I should go to see Alice's kids later anyway.. So I'll just go do that while you visit Sonnet." he offered, obvious in the fact that he was avoiding Sonnet for now. He was still unsure in his mind whether he had actually hurt her or let her get hurt. It might have been in some part his fault, and it was something he couldn't face yet if it were true and Sonnet knew it.
Rasiel sighed lightly as he began to eat at him pancakes once again. The thoughts raced through his mind, what if it was his fault that she had been hurt. He couldn't live with himself knowing if he had ever let harm come to her. "...it probably is your fault..." he muttered under his breath, a sort of nervous tick he began to develop to fill in the gap from Obscurite's dissapearance. He was becoming desperate to hear his voice ring out in his mind once more. It was something he began to crave, and he couldn't deny that he felt lonely without him.
It had never dawned on Rasiel that he should mention the odd occurence with Obscurite and his lack of colorful insults and comments. He didn't think as much important to say, being a pretty closed off person to begin with. He hadn't even realized that he had stopped eating again, shaking his head to snapp himself back to reality. He took another bite and then looked to Deskri, hoping that he hadn't noticed is recent spaciness as a result of the conflict in his mind.

"Sh-should we pad you down with pillows or something so they don't kill you?" He giggled a bit, amused by the image. "You should come by sometime too." He replied with a small hint of a smile. He figured Rasiel was still nervous about what had happened in Sonnet's dorm, but after having time to sleep and think Deskri had figured it all out. It really had been some ******** up scheme made by the collective Bad Things, but that meant that the monochrome girl had come from Sonnet.
He sudden realization nearly caused him to drop his fork on the ground. The entire time... Sonnet had been possessed by a Bad Thing and he hadn't noticed... Had she? Was the Monochrome Girl silent? Or had Sonnet been tortured like he had been the whole time? The nightmares... "I-I'm sure she'd like if if you did..." He added a moment later, taking another bite of pancake to hide his distress.
She was suffering the whole time and I didn't notice... Why didn't I notice? Stupid, stupid so stupid. She's going to be angry with me I'm sure but... what if she's not? What if she needs me to be there? He munched on his pancake, adopting a serious sort of look on his face while he tried to sort everything out.
"K-Kagyaku is gone..." Deskri froze up a second, he hadn't meant to voice that out loud and he certainly hadn't meant to say it loud enough for Rasiel to hear. "I-... yeah..." He turned his eyes down to his pancakes again. Stupid brain-mouth filter giving out on me at the wrong damn time...

"I'm sure I'll be fine.." he replied, sighing at the very idea of dealing with Alice's bratty kids. It could only be a nightmare, he was sure of it. He heard him talk about visiting Sonnet. He paused for a moment. "I'm not sure I should... what if she still hates me... or something.." he rambled off with a furrowed brow. He was worried about Sonnet's condition and the circumstances which the event really happened.
He sighed again, cramming the last bit of pancake into his mouth and stood up to take the plate over to the sink. There was a stale silence for a bit, as Rasiel approached the sink. Then Deskri's words rung out in his ears. "..kag...yaku..." he repeated in a mumble as his grip slipped on the plate and it came crashing down upon the tiled floor. It took Rasiel a few moments to realize the plate had even left him hands as he then slowly looked down to stare at the syrup covered plate shards that were strewn across the ground now.
"Uhhh... I-i'm sorry!.." he exclaimed as he began to pick up the plate, it was unsure whether he had really just forgotten what it was that Deskri had just mentioned, or whether he was just ignoring the thought completely. He picked up the pieces gently and carefully as he moved over and threw them into the trash can, and placed the stray fork into the sink itself.
Rasiel sighed, "...i think.. I should probably go see my sister... Mother will kill me if I don't..." he spoke softly, not really trying to show too much of his emotions as his usual closed off self. He looked to Deskri, waiting for any kind of response. Anything that would tell him he should stay or he should go, because at that point, he was unsure of which option to choose.

"I don't think Sonnet has a hateful bone in her body." He shook his head a little. If only he could convince himself of that idea, he'd be able to march down there without any fear... Mentally he sighed, waiting for Rasiel to react to the news of Kagyaku being gone.
Deskri whipped his head around to stare at Rasiel for a second before getting up to help him. "N-no, it's my fault I shouldn'tve mentioned anything." He shook his head, speaking quickly, unable to hide the panic he was feeling. Did Rasiel drop the plate because he was shocked? Was he angry? He began to shake at the thought... would Kagyaku being gone result in Rasiel thinking that they no longer had anything in common? Deskri wasn't blind to the fact that they came from different worlds altogether.
"O-oh..." Deskri chewed on his lip ring a little, wanting to tell Rasiel to stay a little longer so they could talk it out, but... He seemed insistent on going to see his new nieces and nephews. "Okay..." He hung his head a little and opted to give Rasiel a quick hug before trudging back to the table to get his plate to clean off, no longer interested in the last two or so bites of pancake.

Watching as Deskri as he helped clean up a little. He listened for the words he desperately wanted to hear, but somehow, it came up short with a simple Okay. The word, the one word, stung him lightly. He wanted to stay, but since Deskri never said he wanted him to stay, maybe there were other agendas more important in his mind.
Rasiel sighed and began to walk out of the room, but then paused. He realized then he had forgotten to take off the apron. He removed it and seemed to toss it aside carelessly. "I will be back. I might not have the courage but-..." he paused, unsure on whether he should say anything at all. He sighed, and then gave a short but soft smile to Deskri. "..I'll always be there.. because I love you.." he spoke, then seemed to shift his eyes as they became filled with a slight embarrassment then he turned and left.
As he made his way out into the hallway, he picked up his cellphone to call Alice to let her know he was on the way. It rang for a while. No Answer. A quirked eyebrow found it's way to surface on his face as he then dialed Kae's number. It range for a while as well. No Answer. It was strange, but something told him that something serious might be happening that both their cellphones were unanswerable. "..what if... no.." panic began to set in as the thoughts of the bad things finding ways to physically hurt others. He mind was spinning and he couldn't hold on to a single good thought anymore. Why does this always happen? Why was he the one that had to suffer? When would it be someone else's turn?
Rasiel put away his phone and took a deep breath and then bolted down the hallway as fast as he could. He was determined to make it to the mansion before anything terrible happened, or at least before anything worse could happen. All of the scenarios played through his mind as he ran, never stopping to catch a breath as he would run with all his might, never once looking back to see what he had left behind.

Deskri glanced back over his shoulder at Rasiel, feeling his heart lift as he heard the words he spoke. He wasn't rejected, that was good enough to put him back into a good mood. The look on Rasiel's face dampened it a little, but he was filled with a new determination to put a permanent smile on Rasiel's face, so he paid it no mind.
"I love you too." He replied just before Rasiel disappeared from the doorway. A new smile had worked it's way over his face, possibly in time for Rasiel to see if he had been looking. Now that he was cheered up again Deskri washed off his plate and then looked at the clock... If he started making brownies right then, he'd be able to get down to Sonnet at a decent time...
Still smiling a bit he set to work making his gift brownies, hoping they'd be sufficient enough to appease at least a little bit of Sonnet's anger should she have any. Once they finished cooking, he wrapped them up and then started off to the nurses office.

[MANY months in the future, obviously]
Aiden had found herself hungry and so naturally went down to the kitchen to make herself a snack of sorts. She was half heartedly hoping that someone else would be there, perhaps then she could strike up a conversation and make a new friend. It wasn't that she didn't love having Edmund for a friend, well... that kind of was the problem, actually. She shook her head and grabbed the necessary materials to make herself a turkey sandwich and set to work with a bit of a sigh. As per usual, there was no one around. She was beginning to wonder if the school actually had students or not.

Moira yawned slightly as she made her own way into the kitchen, her hair done up in a loose bun as she had half the mind to bake something today as it wasn't too humid or hot, so that was always good. Stopping in the doorway, she smiled as she noticed that someone else was in the kitchen aside from the school sanctioned meal schedule. "Hey there." She said simply before walking into the room its self and moved to the pantry to look through it, looking to see if there was anything in a box that she could make, seeing as it was a lot faster to make something from them.
