 A basic, yet rather large, public library. With several book categories and an area with about 20 computers that could be considered an 'Internet Cafe'. On certain days, the library will allow any and all artists that live near it to come over and draw simple to spectacular artwork with simple sidewalk chalk. Each slab or square of sidewalk is about 5ft by 4ft and a light gray in color.  The door to the stairs say "Off-limits to students!", but the door is cracked. The basement is dusty, cluttered, and full of secrets.

Aiden wandered through the library halls with his sister Mirabelle, stopping occasionally to rummage through a few things here or there. He would pick something up and then look it over curiously, but then decide it wasn't whatever he was looking for and put it back.
The search for whatever it was went on wordlessly on his part, until he felt a sharp pain in his hand when he reached into a box. "A-ahh..." He cried out softly, small voice echoing through the empty library shelves. He pulled his hand out and stared at the small amount of blood which was now leaking from the wound.
Eventually he removed the items on top to see what it was that had cut him. At the bottom of the box was a pile of shattered glass shards, which were a multitude of colors. A grin came to his face. This was what he wanted. He scooped a few of the larger shards into his hand and then lifted them out of the box to show his female companion.

Mira had stepped lightly on the wooden steps leading down into the dusty basement as she managed to keep her balance by running her hand along the wall when she stepped. She had a smile on her face as this was one of the more exciting things she enjoyed in life. Adventure.
She ran her hands along the leather cover a large trunk and grinned. She open the trunk with a bit of difficulty but managed to lift the lid and it flung open. She went to reach inside to feel for interesting items but before she could feel anything, she felt a sharp pain in her hand as she flinched and drew her hand back.
"B-brother, are you okay?" she asked, moving as if to look around, motioning her hand to try to grab onto something. She blinked a few times and then smiled. She could feel that her brother had stumbled upon something he liked as she felt the air downward until she felt his hand and then fingered the glass in his hands.
"What is this, brother? Mira is interested." she commented with a smile as she was curious to know what it was that Aiden had found. She ran a finger across the smooth surface and furrowed her brow in confusion.

"I'm okay, sorry." Aiden offered his sister an apologetic smile, even though she couldn't really see it. "It's glass, so be careful." His grin grew wider, this was what he'd been looking for... Now all they had to do was find something for Mira.
"I want this, so lets find you something too, okay?" He shuffled about on his knees, eyes scanning for something else to open up and explore. "There's another box over there, follow me." He carefully pooled all of the glass into one hand and then reached back to take one of Mira's in order to lead her to the other box.

Mira could sense Aiden's hand close to her as she reached out to grab it. She smiled as she shuffled behind him, following to wherever he was wanting to lead her. "Mira likes finding things.." she commented with a giggle as she was led to another box. She reached over to feel the box with her hands before finding a latch to lift so she could open it. She tried to lift the lid but had a bit more trouble than the last. "...Mira cannot do it alone.."

"Me too, it's a lot of fun." Aiden agreed with a nod. Without replying to Mira's second statement, Aiden gently placed his prized glass on the ground and then moved to help her with the lid. After a bit of struggling it popped off and then landed on the ground with a soft thud. Aiden coughed a little from the dust that flew up, and then collected his glass again. "There, now you can look inside." He smiled a little.

Mira waved her hand in front of her face to clear the dusty air as she then leaned over the side of the large chest, almost falling in trying to rummage through the items, making sure to feel every item she ran her hands across. She felt a long thin object with a pointed end and a pressable top on the other end that felt bumpy as though it was engraved and set with small stones. This item felt interesting as she slipped into her white satchel and continued searching.
She picked up another item that was some hard piece on what felt like a chain, the hard piece was in the shape of a cross and felt like it had large knobs on the end and had ribbed bars leading to the center which had a large bump of two cross ridges. This in particular was very interesting as she also slipped this item into her white satchel, but it was not what she had been looking for.
Mira leaned back into the chest and dug around some more, feeling for the item that she had been looking for. She felt a handle as she pulled on it and lifted out a slightly heavy item as though made of metal. She held it with two hands, one hand on the handle, and the other feeling about it. One side of the item was sleek, smooth and cold. The other side had many ridges, dips, bumps, and curves. She felt it for a few minutes before determining that it had the engraving of a rose of that side.
She held it and smiled. This was it, the item she was looking for. "Mira found it!" she exclaimed happily, holding out for Aiden to see as she stepped back from the chest.

Aiden looked up to see what his sister was holding. A mirror seemed perfect for her. "I like it, Mira!" He grinned widely and then moved to sit next to her. "Do you know what it is? Do you want me to tell you?" Now that he was closer he looked the mirror over curiously. It really was beautiful, just like his sister.

Mira sat down next to her brother and fingered the item as she felt every inch of it, by far the most interesting item she had ever found. She smiled and turned her head to face Aiden.
"Mira doesn't know. What is it, brother?" she asked, curiosity pawing at her mind to what it was. Whatever it was, it felt good against her fingers, she wanted nothing more than to just hold her item forever. She wanted it more than anything.
She held it out, facing it, almost as though she was looking at herself in the mirror, the only problem was that the mirror side was faced away from her.

Aiden held back a small giggle as Mira held the mirror out in the wrong direction. Once again he set his glass down and then took her hands into his. "This way..." He directed her to change the mirror's position. "It's a mirror! A pretty one, just like you." He nodded happily.

Mira giggled as Aiden told her it was a mirror and realized she had been holding it the wrong way. "Mira likes the mirror.." she commented. She was happy to be with her brother, exploring as they always did. She pulled the mirror up to her face, with the mirror side facing outward and then turned to face Aiden. "Now Mira is Aiden!" she exclaimed and giggled more.
She then pulled down the mirror and hugged it tightly. She felt warmth within her responding to the mirror that was held so close. She hadn't seen the light that was beginning to emit from herself and the item. When the light died down, the item was gone. She couldn't feel it in her hands anymore. She felt around herself for a bit then realized it was gone. She began to have the feeling that the item was still with her, just in a different way.
"Mira lost the mirror.. Maybe she made it disappear.." she whispered, facing Aiden and blinking innocently.

Aiden had been holding the glass to his chest as he started to look inside the box the mirror had come from when the exact same thing happened. When the light disappeared, his glass was gone as well. "M-Mira, my glass is gone too..." He sat back down on the floor and stared at her in bewilderment.

Mira giggled more. "Well, Mira suggests we find more new interesting things. People are interesting things. Come on, Mira wants to play! Go on an adventure!!" she commented excitedly, she stood up and dusted her dress off, and then reached down to grab Aiden's hand. "Let's go!" she offered with a smile, obviously wanting to go exploring some more possibly elsewhere.

Anox sniffs softly as he wanders through the isles in the library, looking at the old books and smiling to himself. He had never been here before, but Papa said that he should look around while he saw to signing him up for his first classes. He carefully plucks a book of fairy tales down from the shelf and heads to a sitting area with lots of tables, his wings fluttering occasionally against his shoulders as his eyes gave off a faint green glow when he passed through shadows. He climbs up into a chair and opens the book on the table, looking at the beautiful pictures, and reading the words, a soft smile on his normally worry pinched face.

Aiden often frequented the library when something was troubling him. Which meant that he was there almost all the time for the past month or so. Ever since he'd gone out to the town with Andy, he felt strange. At first, he was happy to feel something, but after awhile it got awkward.
He wandered through the basement of the library, revisiting the spot he and Mira had first gotten their items. He sighed, staring at his pale hands, wondering if he'd chosen the right thing. Useless to regret it now. He'd told himself that countless times, but it never really did anything. He looked away from the abandoned chest and noticed something different.
There was a book down here. A book that didn't belong. He picked it up and dusted it off. "Oh, fairy tales..." A small smile came to his face as he turned and headed back to the main part of the library. After reading the number on it's spine, he figured out that the book belonged in the kid's section, which had a nice reading spot in it. He hadn't read a fairy tale book in awhile, so Aiden made his way over there.
Much to his surprise, there was already another child there. It didn't bother him at all, he was glad to see that there was someone else that enjoyed books. Aiden made his way over to a chair and quietly sat down and then opened the book again. Occasionally he glanced up to see what the other kid was reading, but he was sitting in just the right spot that the title of the book was hidden, and he couldn't see the words on the pages either.
