User Image Name: Cassie Hall

Nicknames: Cass, mostly by family and close friends.

Gender: Female

Age: 15

Birthday: March 30

Sign: Aries

Blood Type: A is for apple!

School: Meadowview

Fav. Food: Anything that has organic stamped on it!

Hated Food: Poptarts, more like pooptarts amirite ahahah. Haha.

Gemstone: Diamond

Hobbies:

FILMS- Cassie loves movies. Although she has a general like for anything on the big screen, she especially enjoys underdog stories and anything that sounds vaguely like a true story. Seeing other people go from zero to hero in the span of an hour and a training montage or two is what Cassie thrives on. It's just so inspirational! JUST WATCH, she could do it too if she wanted to!! <3 <3

FIRST-PERSON NOVELS- Any book that puts Cassie in the shoes of someone amazing is probably somewhere on her bookshelf already. She is fine with other narrative types, but she prefers first especially. Cassie actually likes novels a little more than films, if only because it's easier to bypass the parts she doesn't like. A lot of her books can be found with several pages torn out; in some cases, whole chapters. Cassie is that girl who turns in her assigned textbooks with dogeared corners and ripped pages, and is very used to paying damage fees.

ACTING- If Cassie loves watching people succeed, then she obsesses over being a person who succeeds. What better way than to act it out? She spends a lot of her spare time reading and acting out scripts to herself in her favorite roles. Theater is something she is interested in as a result, because it's much easier to find a local production than some big movie auditioning. Cassie is not particularly good at what she does; unless by good you mean a total ham. She has a tendency to skip entire scenes and knock over props for the sake of TRUE DRAMA.

TABLOIDS- One of the biggest influences in Cassie's life has been the media. And she loves the media. When she was little she would watch the news with her parents (child-safe news, of course!) and pretend to read their newspapers over their shoulders. Although she couldn't exactly read the tiny print papers, Cassie joined her parents' reading with flashy magazines and tabloids with plenty of pictures. It has since become something she just reads daily; dolled up news and local conspiracies are just much more exciting than a bit of black and white. Cassie likes to talk about them, too, but discussion usually consists of furious head nodding and preaching to the choir.

CELEBRATING- For any reason, anytime, any place. Cassie is always happy to participate anywhere there is noisy excitement and cheer! You don't even have to ask her, she'll just go ahead and honor you with her presence!! Revel in it!

CORNY JOKES- Whether or not this can actually be considered a ~hobby~, Cassie is probably the very embodiment of it. She collects jokes and riddles and puns like nobody's business and pulls them out frequently in conversation. She finds them hilarious and awesome, possibly because she does not know what a real joke sounds like, and is usually the one who laughs at them first. Cassie likely has a list, somewhere, of all of the jokes she has ever read. Or at least the popsicle sticks she found them on.

Virtues:

EFFICIENT- Cassie knows the best routes to use when playing Pacman, the easiest shortcut when doing math problems, the fastest way to de-thaw turkeys. She works hard to hardly work, and she expects the best! If there is a ‘better’, quicker way to get things done she is all over that like icing on a cake. *

(*quality not guaranteed)

UNINHIBITED- Cassie is a firm believer of enjoying yourself before your parents find your report card or some terrorist in a short skirt gets you. She is always happy to laugh awkwardly between even more awkward moments. That weirdo telling bad jokes to anyone within listening distance? Yeah, that's Cassie! Openly gossiping in the middle of the school?? Completely! Singing loudly in the middle of a crowded area with a karaoke mic? Yes. Make a failed attempt at starting a wave in a stadium? Uh, don't tell anyone later. Societal norms don’t hold Cassie down!

SOCIAL- Always accommodating, Cassie tries to make room in her social life for everyone. Her old friends, strangers, new students, and even that creeper in the corner of the cafeteria! She loves nothing more than idle chitchat and just being in the company of other people. Most of her conversations are peppered with corny jokes and weird ice-breaker puns.

ZEALOUS- Cassie buys something at every fundraiser. Cassie shows up for every orientation. Cassie smuggles in air horns to all the local sporting events. Cassie is willing, able, and eager for any chance to show just how passionate she is about, well, anything!! Just tell her what color to paint her face.

Flaws:

SPOILSPORT- Not everything comes handed on a silver platter, and Cassie can’t stand it. Most of her confidence has been built up from motivational orientations and the fact that ~everyone is a special snowflake~. Whenever Cassie is just not good enough or doesn't get her way she is absolutely crushed, and doesn’t appreciate it when people are not equally unhappy at this injustice. She’s got no qualms about marching right over to start raining on your parade. Guys. Guys. GUYS. HOW DARE YOU ENJOY YOURSELVES WITHOUT HER :< STOP BEING SO HAPPY YOU GUYS

IRRATIONAL- If given the choice between a dollar now and fifty tomorrow, Cassie would be all over that single. She never thinks to the future- why would it matter, after all, if she is in the present? Cassie tends to make her decisions based on what would make her happiest right now. Right this instant. She doesn’t really consider long term results or consequences. After all, someone else can always deal with those! Right? Right.

EMBARRASSING- Cassie is that friend you sometimes wince at and pretend you aren’t associated with at parties. She sobs, loudly, during Lifetime movies. She blurts out the most cringe-worthy jokes at the most inappropriate moments. She will let loose a torrent of babbling to the person sitting next to her, even as they try to ignore her. Cassie is too shameless to care.

IMPRESSIONABLE- Cassie isn't dumb, really, but she certainly isn't the sharpest tool in the toolkit. Her parents have impressed upon her the importance of keeping an open mind!! since she was little, so Cassie does just that. How Cassie feels on a topic depends a lot on who's talking at the time, although she will adopt an opinion if it's pushed at her enough. She tends to comes off as wishy-washy and a total tool.

Cassie was home schooled prior to Meadowview High; er parents felt uneasy with letting go of their child to the care of the public school system so early in life. They had large concerns about what exactly the school would be teaching, bullies, and poor instruction. They worried about her not making friends, not doing well in large groups. (They were sort of worrywarts)

Throughout her childhood Cassie was taught by her father, and progressively more and more tutors. Also having read dozens of home and public schooling handbooks, judging the pros and cons and finding the cons terrifying, her parents chose to instill Cassie will many life lessons through motivational posters, Disney movie morals, and assurances that she was one super special awesome kid so she would have no problem adapting to 'public life.' Cassie was frequently dragged out of the house to miscellaneous events around the city to interact with others; carnivals and sports games and parades.

It was only at the end of middle school that the transition from home school to public school was made. The expenses of teaching Cassie themselves was getting too high, and she was getting too restless to learn at home when she'd certainly seen enough ~movies~ on high school.

Freshman year was the introduction of Cassie to the schooling system. (It was sort of embarrassing for everyone except Cassie, it seemed) She's since toned down a bit in sophomore year, but retains a sort of shameless and ignorant personality.
