the following contest is scheduled for one fall. introducing first....
"I AM" starts to play as the lights down down and pyro shoots down from the entrance way and Aj walks threw it wearing his jacket, Aj lifts the hood up and looks to the right and then the left and then he takes off the hood and extends his arms out to his sides and starts to walk down the ramp high fiving fans along the way and he gets to the ring and goes up the steps and climbs between the top and middle rope and runs to one side of the ring and he extends his arms out again and then goes to the opposite side of the ring and does it one more time and then Aj takes off his jacket
Ain't no stoppin' me now!!
Shelton Benjamin's theme hits as he walks out onto the stage and heads for the ring, getting only boos from the crowd.
"...from Orangeburg, South Carolina, weighing in at 248 pounds, Shelton Benjamin!"
Shelton hops up onto the apron and steps into the ring. He steps up on the turnbuckle and looks out at the crowd. The music dies out as he steps down.
The bell rings and Shelton and AJ lock up. Shelton pushes AJ back into the corner and the referee orders a break. Shelton backs off with a smirk, letting AJ out of the corner. AJ advances forward and initiates another lock up, this time catching Shelton in a side headlock. Shelton shoves him off to the ropes and AJ bounces back with an attempted shoulder block. Shelton stands his ground and takes AJ to the mat instead.
Mike: It seems Shelton is the stronger of the two, or at least he got the better of that exchange. Janelle: It’s a little early to tell that. I think AJ could have just been underestimating Shelton’s strength.
Shelton hops over AJ, who rolls onto his stomach and springs to his feet as Shelton hits the ropes. Shelton bounces back and AJ takes him down with a quick armdrag. Shelton bounces back up and walks into another armdrag, this time planting him near the ropes. Shelton comes up to a kneel and stares up at AJ as the crowd cheers.
Mike: Well if Shelton won the power game earlier, AJ won the technical one here. Janelle: If we were going off points, they’d be about even right now. Now let’s see how it goes from here.
Shelton gets up again and the two men circle each other before locking up again. Shelton pushes AJ back against the ropes, and the referee orders a break. Shelton breaks, but this time hits a hard right to the side of AJ’s head. From there, Shelton whips AJ across the ring and lowers his head for a back body drop. AJ stops and kicks him in the chest, then hits a clothesline as he straightens up. Shelton hits the mat and rolls to the ropes to pull himself up. AJ attempts to whip him across the ring and Shelton reverses. AJ bounces back with a spinning wheel kick to take him down again, and then goes for a pin.
One…two.
Shelton kicks out. AJ pulls him up and whips him to the turnbuckle, then charges in for a splash. Shelton ducks and lets him hit the buckle chest first, then catches him in a schoolboy pin.
One…two..
AJ kicks out. He gets to his feet and Shelton whips him to the ropes, then takes him down with a belly to belly suplex and goes for another pin.
One…two…
AJ kicks out again. Shelton pulls him up and whips him to the turnbuckle, then charges in for the Stinger Splash. AJ ducks and lets him hit the buckle, then hits a Pele kick as he turns around and goes for a pin.
One…two….
Shelton kicks out. AJ grabs Shelton’s arm and locks in an armbar.
Mike: AJ Styles is pulling ahead here. Now he has Shelton in an armbar submission hold. Janelle: This is an interesting match up here, one I’ve always wanted to see. Both of these men are athletic, agile, and technically sound. This one is going to be hard to call until the end.
Shelton pulls himself to the ropes and AJ releases the hold. Shelton gets up and AJ whips him to the ropes, then takes him down again with a dropkick and goes for another pin.
One…two…t….
Shelton kicks out again. AJ gets up and climbs the turnbuckle, then goes for a frogsplash. Shelton rolls out of the way and AJ crashes to the mat.
Mike: That high risk maneuver didn’t pay off. Now both men are down. Janelle: Yeah, but AJ is definitely the worse for wear. If Shelton can get up first, he’ll have a distinct advantage.
Shelton does indeed get up first, then pulls AJ up and whips him to the turnbuckle. Shelton charges in and connects with the Stinger Splash, then backs up and catches him in a T-bone suplex, followed by a pin.
One…two…thre….
AJ just gets his shoulder up.
Mike: Shelton almost had the match won there. Janelle: Yeah, well almost doesn’t count. Shelton needs to stay on AJ. Don’t let him get vertical and start flying around the ring.
Shelton pulls AJ up and whips him to the turnbuckle again, then charges after him. AJ stops himself and jumps up and behind Shelton, then rolls him up in a pin.
One…two…
Shelton kicks out again. The two get to their feet and Shelton attempts a superkick. AJ catches his foot and tosses it down, only to have Shelton counter into the Dragon Whip. Shelton quickly goes for another pin.
One…two…thre….
AJ gets his shoulder up again, getting an eruption of cheers from the crowd. Shelton looks up in disbelief and slaps the mat angrily. He gets up and waits for AJ to stand, then charges in to attempt the Pay Dirt. AJ instead catches him with a hard clothesline and falls to the mat as well. The crowd begins to chant for AJ as both men lay in the middle of the ring.
Mike: Perhaps a last ditch effort from AJ. Janelle: I don’t think it’s really a last ditch effort. It was a desperate counter, but it was effective. Now let’s see if AJ can capitalize.
AJ rolls out onto the apron and pulls himself up. As he waits for Shelton to get up, the crowd suddenly starts to boo. Ken Armand is walking down the ramp and stops at the edge of the ring, grabbing AJ’s foot as he’s about to springboard back into the ring. AJ kicks him off and then springboards into the ring for a flying forearm, but Shelton jumps up and catches him with Pay Dirt, then pins him.
One….two….three!
Shelton’s music hits as the crowd boos loudly and Ken backs up the ramp.
Announcer: Here is your winner, Shelton Benjamin!
Mike: Once again, Ken Armand has interfered in one of AJ Styles’ matches, and this time cost him a win over Shelton Benjamin. Janelle: This is becoming more of a personal issue. But Ken had better watch out.
Shelton rolls out of the ring and heads up the ramp as AJ sits up in the ring and the show goes to commercial.

The show comes back on the air backstage with Lillith standing, waiting.
Lillith: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, Ken Armand. The crowd boos as Ken walks into view with the Cruiserweight championship belt on his shoulder. Lillith: Ken, you just cost your former tag team partner, AJ Styles, his match against Shelton Benjamin. Why did you involve yourself in his match? Ken: Look, the fact of the matter is, AJ Styles just isn’t good enough to make it on his own. We had everything going for us as a team. I’m the SEWF Cruiserweight champion. I worked hard to win this belt. We were on a role. But then, when we faced the tag team champions, he choked. He proved that he isn’t really ready for the spotlight. For weeks he kept dropping the ball until finally it was time to let him go. And tonight he proved he wasn’t ready. He let himself get distracted. Lillith: But you did more than distract. You physically inserted yourself in the match. Ken: Well, I guess he should’ve counted on that. Did he think I was down there sightseeing? He cost me the tag team championships. I’m just returning the favor.
AJ runs up behind him and knocks him to the ground with a clothesline. Lillith runs off as AJ proceeds to stomp Ken repeatedly. He pulls him up and runs him face first into a crate sitting around backstage.
AJ: You want to cost me my match? Well let’s see if you can beat Kane now.
AJ walks off.
