the afternoon sun shown down on a lazy river. fish were swimming upstream tired after their long journey. at a shallow part sat a young bear trying to catch its lunch. the fish were easily avoiding its inexperienced paws. not far off was a Cerynei stag who was watching the bear with amusement. Kenton moved upstream in order to keep his scent out of the slight breeze. he had been walking through the forest when he smelt the bear and found it at the stream.
Kenton chuckled to himself as the bear missed another fish. he almost wished that e could speak bear and try to help it, but that would be a very unwise thing to do. it was better to stay hidden on the off chance that the bear was desperate enough to try and hunt him.
