Still, the time had come for her to take a little alone time. She loved all of the cubs she got to play with, being a nanny she spent a lot of time with all the children and how she adored their constant play and new games and discovery of words, it all made Mziwaziwa proud to be what she was. Just on the odd occasion though, she needed to get out, to splash in some water, to relax, to simply talk to an adult. She looks down at the jackal that walked at her side. The little female had returned to the sands followed by her only son, and Mziwaziwa had been glad of it, it was nice to have a constant friend, a permanent companion whom she could be an adult with even if it was just for the briefest of moments.Fleur lifts her head and smiles happily at her friend, since she had returned to the pride she had lead the swampy coloured lioness to,s he had never been happier. Surrounded by bouncy, playful, cuddly cubbies, she was in her element and to be so appreciated by her lioness friend filled her with a delight that kept her attached to the sandy lands and to the lioness and her litter. "Nice to be out in the sun." The canine smiled, her large ears flickering happily. The lioness smiles and nods "Yes, it's lovely." She sighs happily making a beeline for the water, ready for a little dip to cool her fur and wash the dust from her body which had accumulated from time in the nursery with the happy children.

Fatia and Raha were still getting used to their time here. Everything had been going smoothly, and both were settling into their roles, nanny and hunter respectively. Raha had started to learn the patterns and needs of the preybeasts as well as when it would be best to bring back food for those that couldn't, or didn't have time to hunt for themselves. It was a little more labourous than he had expected, but he was still pleased to have something to offer to his new home.
Fatia hadn't spend much time yet with other nannies, still taking a few lessons about the pride and the way in which it functioned. She was a slower learner than her mate, and so it was taking her a little longer to really settle into her chosen position within the pride that she was quickly falling in love with.
"Raha, how about we take a break for a while?" she pleaded. He was trying to help her remember everything, and she wanted a little escape, even if only for a short time.
Raha shook his head, but laughed. "You know we're just going to have to go over this again," he warned, but succumbed to her wish. "Fine, fine, lead the way!"
And so the two of them moved towards a watering area to relax and perhaps chat a bit.

The dark khaki and peach lioness dips her maw in to the clear waters, brushing a paw in and splashing her cheeks before sitting up and grooming her face. Soft pink eyes open slowly and she smiles as she spots the two approaching lions, both pale, both very much the colours of the sands. She knew she stood out at least a little against a lot of the lions of the pride but her darker coat simply made her more memorable, or so she felt. "Hello friends." She smiles a friendly smile allowing her paw to settle back on the ground and her full attention to rest upon the two.
Fleur yaps a small bark before she too sits next to Mziwaziwa, she nods her head lightly and wags her fluffy tail "greetings." She smiles, her tail wagging happily, she liked to make new friends, she was just that type of jackal.
"I'm sorry, allow me to introduce myself, I'm Mziwaziwa and my little friend here is Fleur. We're nannys, well, I'm a nanny and Fleur helps." She chuckles and shakes her head "How are you both this fine day?" she smiles, a sweet gentle smile.

Fatia rushed forward when they were greeted, though they hadn't quite made it to the water's edge. Raha rolled his eyes, but he couldn't help a smile. She had changed dramatically after he had found her, and every bit of change ws for the better. At least she was opening herself up to others instead of being afraid of the unknown.
Fatia settled herself nearly near the pair, excitement still on her face but manners reminding her not to be too overbearing. She couldn't quite help herself, as she hadn't been able to personally meet any other nanny; only seen a couple from afar as she finished up her last lessons. Raha soon joined her, nodding to the both of them but wanting Fatia to keep her happy limelight for the moment.
"Nannies?!" Fatia exclaimed. "That's wonderful! I'm going to be one soon, well, as soon as I finish up the last of my lessons." She nodded her head briskly before continuing. "The hopefully I'll be able to help out in whatever is needed." She knew what a nanny did, as her lessons easily explained, but that was nothing compared to experience, and she was ready to start, even if nervous. It was a big responsibility, especially if you were watching someone else's children for the day. "How do you like it?" she asked, genuinely interested in what they had to say.
Raha cleared his throat to interrupt for a moment. "Ah, a pleasure to meet the both of you. This is Fatia," he said, gesturing to the lioness as she smiled, embarassed that she slipped over that piece of etiquette, "and I am Raha."

Mziwaziwa chuckles lightly as the large female approaches her she nods her head gently, her soft pink eyes looking over the two. It was nice to see a couple, she was fairly sure they were couple, the male seemed attached to her any ways. How sweet. It pulled at her heart strings slightly, having cubs but no mate felt a little strange to her still but she knew she had made a couple very happy baring cubs for them.
"Oh yes, I love being a nanny, it's very much good fun watching the babies, seeing them grow up and watching them learn various things. One of my daughters told me that there was a magical star in the sky that walked about sometimes." She chuckles lightly "It was a very enchanting tale she told me, they often invent things, children, they are so very inventive." She sighs softly.
"You will enjoy being in the nursery, you can come and work with me if you like, when you have finished your lessons, it can be a little daunting when you first join, I felt very strange when I first joined myself but a few friendly faces later and I settled right in."
The jackal smiles at the two lions and nods "It's always fun playing with puppies." She sighs a happy little sigh "it's a very fulfilling position to be in." The jackal wags her tail and nods "It's a pleasure to meet you both. I'v only been here for a short time myself miss Fatia, are you liking it so far?" the little dog looks between the big male and the pale female and nods her head "It seems you have a friend to show you the way. It's easier to settle in if you have someone to show you the way." She wrinkles her nose in a doggy smile and looks up at mziwaziwa "Ziwa lets me stay with her and her extended family."
Mziwaziwa chuckles lightly "I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Fleur, she lead me to the lands a good few moons ago now, it's the least I can do to have her at my side."

Fatia felt a little starstruck and overwhelmed by the generosity. She was always amazed at the charity that other lions offered, and Raha only wished that she would start to get used to it. Not to take advantage of anything, but that everyone had some good, and she needed to let herself enbrace that. Fatia just loved everyone for always being so helpful, and was always overly joyous and vocally thankful for it.
"I would love that!" she chirped, feeling pleased that she would know someone within her realm of the pride when she started. At least then not everything would be so overwhelmingly new, children and adults both. She knew of a couple of the children from lessons, but the setting would certainly flip-flop around once she was the nanny and not the student.
Raha chimed in, letting Fatia take a moment to catch her thoughts. He could tell that she just wanted to ask a million questions, and the pleasant lioness and jackal they were talking with shouldn't get overwhelmed with her excitement and curiosity. "We came here following word that one of Fatia's sister's had come here." Fatia only nodded, letting Raha speak for her willingly, as she didn't explain her past all that well. "After their family had broken up, it gave us something to go after, and so here we are."
Fatia smiled. "It is the nicest place I've ever been in," she commented.

The dark khaki lioness smiles a wide sweet smile "You're most welcome Fatia." She purrs nodding her head happily at the other lioness. "You'll have a lot of fun, well until they mass hug you." She grins playfully and chuckles "Theres no more fulfilling job, at least in my opinion."
Ziwa nods at his explanation "It's a wonderful place to be, so much culture, i was born near the pride lands myself but age saw me wandering until Fleur here, " she nods her head towards the female jackal, "lead me here, they have been nothing but kind to me and I have a beautiful litter here now, though they are not truly my own they are a happy little lot. You will met them when you join us Fatia." She smiles, feeling proud of her children though she was really an aunt to them she still loved them.
Fleurs tongue lolls for a moment and she nods a pleased smile at the two lions "What are you training to be Raha?" She whispers, looking the golden male over, perhaps he was a guardian, he looked large enough to fall in to that category.
Mziwaziwa chuckles "Have you been married yet?" she looks between Raha and Fatia "You seem like an old couple, well not old but you have been together for a time before arriving here yes?" She smiles, Raha seemed to have a voice for his lady, it was sweet, he clearly loved her and knew when she needed help. Very sweet.

Fatia's eyes widened, and she couldn't help but gasp slightly. "Really?"
Raha wanted to smack his face. Oh, no. He wasn't really ready for children, not yet, and now Fatia's head was going to be even more filled with the ideas of that. He felt his stomach flop, but knew he wouldn't win. Sigh.
"I would love that," she said, feeling even more relaxed and thrilled with everything. "I'm sure I'll be a little overwhelmed at first, since I don't have too much experience with children, but I always feel more relaxed with them around." She curled her tail around her side, still smiling proudly.
"Well, at least this'll help you get the drive to finish your lessons," Raha cracked, only recieving a playful smack from his mate. Chuckling, he responded to Fleur with a greatful nod. "A hunter, actually. I've finished my lessons already," he laughed and tried to dodge another playful swipe from Fatia, but failed. "I've been starting on my duties, and helping Fatia out when I can."
Fatia was still a little irritated, but she did her best to brush it off. She wasn't that slow. "We've been together for a while," she said a little shyly. "And though we came here together, we still haven't had an official wedding ceremony yet." But oh, was she looking forward to it!!

Mziwaziwa chuckles quietly looking at Raha, he looked worried about the thought of children. She had a feeling when they came, he would be the one singing their praises. "Trust me, as soon as you start running around with them, you'll feel so relaxed. It's so much fun being surrounded by cubs."
The dark khaki lioness sighs softly. "You must do it soon." She chuckles playfully, a dance in her soft pink eyes. "A wedding makes for a good excuse for a celebration." She purrs and nudges the little jackal.
Fleur yaps and wags her tail happily "You don't need an excuse Mziwaziwa, you're always dancing about with the kids." The jackal wrinkles her nose happily "It's good to know we have another provider, so many new mouths to feed of late." She nods sagely.
The lioness sighs lightly. "I hate to love and leave you both my friends, but I should get back to the cubs before they waken, they will be wanting something to eat and a little drink." She nods to the couple and gets to her paws, her pale eyes looking them over. "Come and find me Fatia when you have finished your lessons. I'm sure we'll be great friends, and you can meet my sort of children." She chuckles and trots off towards the temples.

Fatia relaxed at what Mziwaziwa said. The comfort in knowing that she would get used to them was always in the back of her mind, but seeing some children around with their parents, and making an educated guess that she was certainly not seeing all the children when she was out and about made the idea of helping to watch that many children was overwhelming. But now she had someone to know, someone to ask questions, and hopefully be able to lean on a bit when she might feel a little stressed.
"Thank you," she whispered, smiling deeply. "I look forward to that day when we can work together!"
Raha chuckled. "You make it sound like it's so far away!"
Fatia stuck her tongue out at him, but giggled too. "Yes, I should hopefully be good in a couple days time."
Raha was a little pleased that she hadn't overdone the whole wedding idea. It was...well, a pleasing thought, with the priests blessing them, but it seemed a little much to him, but he most likely felt that way as between the two of them they didn't know too many others yet. Maybe a little something, for the few friends they had so far...
"Bye!" Fatia nodded, a little sad that Mziwaziwa had to go, but completely understanding. It shook Raha out of his mindset, and he wondered just how much he was setting things back when he looked at her, healing from her past (something she didn't mind about, but he seemed to loom over it a lot) and wanting to move on with her life, and get it really going. Was it he that was scared?
"What're you waiting for, silly?" she asked him, and it finally got him out of his thoughts. He could think about them later. Right now... "Let's get going on those lessons of yours, so you can finish and get started here!"
Fatia smiled. "Ok, I would like that. Very much."
