It had been a long couple of weeks for Isolde as she had been slowly venturing around the area to explore without being spotted by other felines. The few that she had encountered so far had been decent enough, even made a few friends. But that kind of luck could only go so far, and it had been getting pushed to the limit lately. One too many narrow escapes had her heading back towards the park in hopes that it was still a safe area.
Today there seemed to be a few more humans about as she settled herself in a low hanging tree branch, content to just watch them. A few of the smaller ones had colorful kites out, running around with them in hopes of seeing who could get theirs the highest. One or two had brought their dogs with them and were chasing some of those colored flying disks. Why they enjoyed it she would never understand, but if it kept them away from her she was happy with it. The chatter was pleasant enough and started to lull her to sleep... feeling herself dozing off somewhat as a few rays of sunlight started spreading across the tree she was in.
