It was a quiet lovely day, and Auster was enjoying it. The large black and white stallion was ambling along the river bank, paying no heed to what was going on around him. He could see no one around for miles, and he appreciated that. A lot. Solitude was what he wanted. At least, that's what he told himself. More and more these days.
A few more strides, and he stopped, glancing at himself reflected back in the water. He was a handsome beast, no one could deny that. Smiling a bit to himself, he dipped his head down and took a drink of the cool water.

Yes, the male thought of himself as a young stallion though his foals were now adults. Striding towards with river with sure steps, he came to a halt at a black winged male at the riverside, drinking. He had pretty wings! Like his Maui. But.. his were different. How interesting! Either way, Starseeker moved up a good distance away to take his first drink for the day. "Hey," he answered, acting like he didn't care the other was there. Maybe if he played it cool he could get lucky and have someone to talk too. The other didn't look mean or spiteful. Those with wings like that couldn't be! He did know one fellow who thought himself above him because the other fellow had wings.
That thought caused Star to mentally cringe. He had a gut feeling the other would be exactly like that annoying fellow. Oh, joy! Still, nothing would ruin this near perfect day.
