Welcome to my brainchild. The G-Cup.

Now that I have a list of characters 32 long I will begin organizing them into brackets and other various tournament formats, as well as the tag team tournament. I will need a lot of time to set this up, as well as ample time to find music for these characters that I have access to.

Update: I also have decided because of popular demand (and much nagging) to initiate the first annual Diva G-Cup...which I have decided to call the D-Cup for obvious reasons. I have 14 characters in mind to register for the tournament, if any more come to mind then please by all means, tell me.

Results:

Matt Shanahan is defeated by Marxx with a Half-Nelson Suplex/Leaving Marxx/Illusion Breaker combination.

Ryuu Sakamoto defeated Matt Stone with the SAIKYOU! High Kick, then was defeated by Matt Shanahan with a Chapter Four, cementing a spot in the finals.

Snypa Rifle was defeated by the JKO and was busted open.

Eliminations:

Since both Snypa Rifle and Matt Shanahan were both knocked out in the first round the winner must be determined by performance. Matt Shanahan lasted 5 minutes while Snypa only lasted 2 and was also busted open. Thus, Snypa Rifle has been eliminated.

Finals: 30 minute Ironman Match

Matt Shanahan vs. Ryuu Sakamoto

Results:

The match begins and Ryuu blocks a toe kick, then counters with a dropkick that Shanahan avoids. Shanahan then nails the toe kick this time and hits two heavy punches followed by a spinning polish hammer to knock Ryuu down. Sakamoto fights back up to his feet with a few shots to the gut then nails a European Uppecut to take the advantage back. Ryuu follows up with an elbow drop, then slingshots Shanahan into a corner. Matt tries to retaliate with a chop but it is blocked and Sakamoto takes him down with a high elevation clubbing blow to the back.

Ryuu decides to go high risk and climb the turnbuckle, but Matt gets up quickly and kicks him off and to the floor below. He takes too long to taunt however and is taken down by a stylish ddt followed by a vicious elbow drop. Ryuu is in control, and continues his assault with a arm wrench flip and a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Matt rakes the eyes in desperation and takes control back by executing a huge belly to belly suplex. Ryuu tries to fight back with a toe kick but Matt whips him off the ropes and gets behind him, executing an atomic drop, followed by a back suplex. Shanahan decides to slow the pace down and lands a few leg drops, but Sakamoto counters after all and takes him down to the ground with a leg sweep. He tries to chop his opponent when he rises, but Shanahan counters and takes Ryuu down with an arm drag. An elbow drop exentuates Matt's point, and when Ryuu gets back up he clobbers him again with a big time clothesline. He sets Ryuu up and executes his Chapter Four, but Ryuu kicks out at 2!

Matt hits a huge pumphandle suplex followed by an elbow and his is firmly in control of the match. He goes back to the leg drops but Ryuu speeps again. Ryuu counters with an eye poke and kicking his legs out from under him, then hits the Chapter Four again, but Ryuu kicks out at 2 again! Shanahan is frustrated and whips Ryuu into the corner, rushing in after him but he catches nothing but turnbuckle as Ryuu counters with 3 clubbing blows to the back followed by a Code Red! Shanahan also kicks out at 2. Matt snapmares Ryuu and goes for a pin, and Ryuu also kicks out at 2. He covers again and he kicks out again. Matt argues with the ref and Ryuu can't get up, so he picks him up and hits yet another Chapter Four! This time he gets the 1 2 3 and scores the first point.

5:00 Shanahan 1 Sakamoto 0

Matt continues his dominance after the fall with a suplex sitout slam, then whips Ryuu into the corner where he executes a devestating Superplex. Ryuu regains compusure and is able to nail a powerslam to counter Shanahan, then a jumping armbreaker. Ryuu is whipped into the corner again and Shanahan stops Ryuu's momentum with a flipping crusifix slam. Matt hits and elbow, then tries to hit a running powerslam but Ryuu counters with an inverted DDT! He picks Matt up and whips him to the ropes, but Matt counters again with a DDT of his own, then hits the Around the Corner for a 2 count.

Ryuu slips out of a back suplex and tries to hit a roll up but he rolls into the ropes and the pin is stopped. Again Matt goes for the powerslam and its stopped, and Ryuu hits some stinging chops followed by a leg sweep. The momentum is finally on Ryuu's side again and he takes out Shanahan with the Sexyback, but somehow Matt had the presence of mind and stops the pin with a low blow! Ryuu fights him off for a bit, but then Matt simply jumps on him and pounds away at his face, then nails a few extra elbow drops to add salt in the wound. Ryuu sweeps the legs again and then hits a spinning suplex, then crushes Shanahan with the Hiroplex for the 1 2 3!

9:20 Shanahan 1 Sakamoto 1

Ryuu continues his offense after his first point with a back suplex but Shanahan flips out of it and nails the pumphandle suplex again. He then atomic drops Ryuu and hits another pumphandle suplex! Ryuu is down and Matt decides to finish him off with the 4th Chapter Four in the match which picks him up another pinfall.

9:00 Shanahan 2 Sakamoto 1

Matt whips Ryuu into the corner and punches away at his face, but is countered by a double underhook backbreaker followed by another spinning suplex! Ryuu stomps away at him and gets a chop for his trouble, followed by several more chops in the corner for good measure. Matt hits a big uppercute and a snapmare, then sledges and stomps away at his opponent, followed by a big DDT. Matt misses a clothesline and is countered by a Crusifix DDT by Sakamoto, but Shanahan low blows him again to regain the upper hand and once again hit the Chapter Four! This one only results in a two count. Another snapmare by Shanahan followed by a big boot and then Matt attacks the knee with a lift up and drop technique.

Matt waits for him to rise and hits another pumphandle suplex then tries to nail the Chapter Four again but Ryuu sees it coming (finally) and counters with a chop, then two more and a leg sweep, and the Hiroplex nails Shanahan again. Ryuu goes up top and this time is successful with his double foot stomp to the chest followed by 2 huge elbow drops. He goes up top again and misses the stomp this time, but his a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker followed by a huge SAIKYOU! High Kick! He goes for the cover but Shanahan is able to kick out at 2 once again. Shanahan flips out of a back suplex and Ryuu counters the german, then snapmares Shanahan down and hits a running elbow. Matt tries to fight back but he's stopped in his tracks, then Ryuu shoots him off into the corner and nails him with a running forearm. A few more chops and a DDT, but Shanahan low blows him again, followed by two huge punches and a spinning polish hammer, another low blow and a falling DDT! Another big shot to the knee and Shanahan tries to finish him off with the Around the Corner and does, aquiring another pinfall.

14:00 Shanahan 3 Sakamoto 1

Matt whips him into the corner but Ryuu reverses, lifting the big man up on his shoulders and hitting a steamroller. Matt rakes the eyes and snapmares Ryuu, followed by a huge clothesline. Ryuu counters an irish whip and nails a powerslam, but it only gets a two count. He covers again and only gets one. Ryuu shoots him into the corner and hits a Diamond Dust, then another SAIKYOU! High Kick that scores him another pinfall!

15:30 Shanahan 3 Sakamoto 2

Ryuu chops him a few times then shoots him into the turnbuckle, but Matt gets the feet up and kicks him down when he charges in. Another big shot to the knee followed by an elbow and he shoots Ryuu off into another corner, taunting alot. He shoots him into another turnbuckle and htis a florearm of his own, then stomps a mudhole in Ryuu and walks it dry. Ryuu is able to fight back and hits the spinning suplex, then a big DDT! He chops at him once more and shoots him into the turnbuckle, but when he charges in to attack Matt moves and executes a backslide on the rebound but its in the ropes. He tries to back suplex Ryuu but he flips out of it, shoots him into the turnbuckle and hits another Diamond Dust. Matt fights back up and shoots Ryuu into the ropes but Sakamoto holds the ropes and they chase eachother outside. They both climb inside and brawl but Ryuu knocks him over the ropes and dropkicks Shanahan to the floor.

Ryuu hits an uppercut on the outside, then executes a leg whip and rushed back inside, Shanahan on his heels. Shanahan uppercuts Ryuu then gives him a back suplex, followed by a lateral press backbreaker. Shanahan delivers a major chop and powers him into the turnbuckle, but Ryuu escapes the splash and hits his spinning suplex again. This time Ryuu shoots him intot he ropes but Shanahan counters the attack with a forearm, then powerslams Ryuu in the cneter of the ring. Sakamoto is able to counter his next attack with a chop, but when he charges in for a clothesline Matt hits a falling DDT to lay him out. Matt picks him up and hits the Around the Corner one more time and covers him for a 1 2 3.

20:00 Shanahan 4 Sakamoto 2

Shanahan tries to backslide Ryuu but only gets 2, then gets a chop for his troubles and a high flying club to the back that knocks him down. Ryuu picks his opponent back up and gets raked in the eyes, but he has none of it and delivers several more chops which knocks Shanahan to the outside. Ryuu follows him and hits the Sexyback! Shanahan and Ryuu climb back into the ring and Ryuu picks him up on his shoulders again and hits another steamroller, followed by his third SAIKYOU! High Kick which puts Ryuu back in the game with another pinfall.

22:00 Shanahan 4 Sakamoto 3

Shanahan tries to DDT Ryuu but he counters with a clothesline, then whips him into the ropes where he tries to clothesline him, but Matt gets behind Ryuu and hits the atomic drop once again plus yet another pumphandle suplex. Ryuu fights him off when Matt tries to pick him up and whips him into the corner, rushes in and to everyone's surprise hits a crusifix DDT. Shanahan takes the low rode again and low blows Ryuu, then a devestating clothesline that turns him inside out, followed by a chokeslam which gets a 2 count. He backslides Ryuu but it also gets 2. This time Matt tries a toe kick, but Ryuu counters with a clothesline followed by a few more chops, but Matt just rakes the eyes and hits the pumphandle suplex again to take back control. A few elbows to the back and Matt shoots him into the ropes and hits a powerslam.

Ryuu fights back and his a snapmare followed by a running low dropkick, then irish whips him again and hits a powerslam of his own but only gts 2. Matt hoists Ryuu up onto his shoulders and hits a buckle busting powerslam and goes for the pin but he gets two as well. Visibly frustrated Shanahan goes for a power clothesline, then hits his Chapter Four and goes for the pin. "1..2..3"

25:00 Shanahan 5 Sakamoto 3

It looks bleak for Ryuu and he goes into overdrive mode. Fighting Shanahan with elbows and chops, followed by a steamroller attempt, but its squashed by a DDT. Shanahan goes back to the leg drops, followed by a big powerslam and a big boot. Ryuu shows his speed and gets around Matt and shoots him into the ropes, but he's countered by a DDT and hits the Chapter Four, but Ryuu refuses to stay down! He fights back and whips Shanahan into the corner and tries a moonsault superkick, but he's countered by an elbow to the face and backslided. Thankfully for Ryuu the ropes were close and he gets a break. Ryuu picks Matt up again and tries for the steamroller but Matt counters again with the DDT, followed by an arm drag. Matt goes into bralwing mode and hits every vicious strike in his arsenal, followed by another relentless Chapter Four that gets a 2 count to everyone's surprise. Matt hits a snapmare and whips him into the ropes, but when Ryuu comes back his hits a big superkick followed by the spinning suplex.

Matt knows he's in charge though and hits a jawbreaker to get some space, followed by another backslide that gets a 2 count. He goes to the backslide again but a long 2 counte saves Ryuu. Shanahan goes back to the snapmare then a big punch to the face, then hits his Around the Corner and furthers his lead with another pinfall.

28:45 Shanahan 6 Sakamoto 3

In the last minutes of the match Ryuu goes inot overdrive and hits a dropkick, but gets caught again by the Belly to belly suplex. This doesn't deter Sakamoto and he goes for another couple of chops, but gets countered with the backslide by Matt which gets him a two count. 50 seconds left and Ryuu takes Matt to the corner, punishing him with chop after chop. He may not win but he causes a ton of pain. Another back suplex by Ryuu followed by a superkick. In the last seconds of the match Ryuu Sakamoto hits the Sexyback one last time, but after that time expires and the winner's music hits the PA.

"Here is your winner of the first ever G-Cup, "The Punk" Matt Shanahan!"
