I got a message on myspace that says;
"We seriously need some more mods in the cc. soandso, thatguy, wathisface, and someone's noob account have been saying some serious sexual things in teh clan chat. Things along the line of black penises, even some racial jokes. Someone needs to be in there who will actually do something about it."
We joke around, we always have joked around. Unless it is something starting a huge argument, there is no reason to punish anyone.
If you do not like what someone is saying, try asking to change the subject, or tone down the vulgarity. Now just because you asked, doesn't mean they want to or will. If they continue, take a break from the clan chat. Try returning in 10 mins for a possible topic change.
As a random sidenote, to those of you that are my friend on other social sites such as myspace or facebook; If you have something to tell me about the guild, especially crap like asking for ranks, but anything, tell me here on Gaia. I actually come on here more than myspace. Id hate to have to block you guys on there.
Oh, and feel free to share how you deal with conversations you don't want to take part in. I like to cover my ears and scream really loud.

I dont talk that much in the cc but every now and then someone says something that sets me off and I tend to lash out at them, and sometimes an argument follows, but if it starts to get bad I just put them on ignore or leave the cc.

New CC is nothing like the old one rolleyes people need to get over it, it's a lot more calmer now then it EVER was.

Well, yesterday something like that happened so Zaxe PM'ed me and we all used my CC for the night until things calm down. You're more then welcome to anytime if things get out of hand.
Anyways, the BEST way to deal with it is just add them to your ignore list, that's what I just do now, that way you can't see what type of racial uncalled for thing they say.

Maybe people should just be mature enough to not talk about things
like huge black dicks considering that's offensive language and could
be reported to Jagex in the first place.
I'd also like to say that I think we should enforce the Guild Members
only rule, or make one if need be, because most of these problems,
from my point of view, seem to be coming from guild members bringing
their friends into the CC.

Well, they could always make only Recruit+ people only be able to join and all the people whom are members of this guild and are somewhat active in this CC could get at least a recruit rank so they could talk on the CC. That would stop any annoying spammer and/or racial person from talking.
My second idea was to get someone whom is usually in the clan chat a kicking rank such as Lieutenant. And every kick they make has to be supplied with a screenshot to the guild owner. (Taryn) or one of the guild moderators if Taryn is busy with real-life. I'm sure not a lot of people would mind helping out with that one. If you need help with that I'm up for grabs until you can find someone.
I myself, prefer the second idea. Why? Well, it would be hard to continually keep ranking people recruit, especially because there is a limit to the list and Taryn wouldn't be able to go on almost every day just to rank someone. Plus there are also some decent people whom are Un-ranked in the Clan Chat itself, and that would prevent them from talking, even if they are not part of this guild and are someone's friend.

I will consider giving one more person kicking rights, and I already have someone in mind.
Also, there will be a new rule. No outsiders. I too have noticed the people who cause problems are people who show up in the cc before the actual guild.
