Toshiro had been wandering around his and Faye's meeting place for three days now. He was dirty, wet and starving but he hadn't moved from this area that he was supposed to meet Faye in...she hadn't come...He was getting so worried. He had worn a path back and forth in the grass...He covered his face and sighed as he fought back tears. Did her family decide not to let her keep coming out to see him? Was she lost? Or hurt! Was tired of him and didn't want him any more! His head swam with so many things that he didn't know what to believe. He spun and punched a tree, leaving a small hole even as he broke the skin over his knuckles. He growled and didn't pay attention to the blood dripping off his hand as he looked at the area she came from for the millionth time to see if she was coming back. His eyes filled with tears as he thought about what could have happened to his princess...

After continuous thinking… Sae still didn’t know how to tell Hiro so that her sisters friend wouldn’t end up killing himself over this –literally, or well, by going in alone.- With a heavy sigh, Saeriel ran a hand through her long silver hair and sat glistening, cross-legged in the meditative position she had held all morning, trying to figure out tactics… and berid herself of the pressure building between her ears. It had been fate her meeting with Rou, but under the circumstances… the revolution of her heart being capable of love was dulled by the reality of her sisters… she couldn’t think that, Sae let the thought die and cocked her head in the direction Rou would be heading from. She had sent him out to look for the flame point Siamese looking hybrid, hoping, no praying to the goddess she could find him in time…
Saeriel shivered, not just from cold though that was paying a major part of it. It had rained last night, and most of her usually carried provisions had dwindled with the add on of one more. She needed to restock… but she feared if she went home her mother would put her under lock and key.
Since technically she wasn’t allowed to do this, and was technically forbid. But hey, what kind of warrior big sister would she be if she didn’t look for her, well damsel in distress sister came in mind. The princess locked in a tower.

Roulette knew he was a big part of Sae's rescue mission. For the first time in his life, he had a purpose outside of nicking things from shops and people. A real purpose... No more curling around the legs of people, looking for something he didn't really need. No more stealing wallets just to get away with it. Even if this purpose only lasted a little bit... He hoped he might stay with Sae for longer.
He was in the woods, looking for the siamese cat that Sae had told him to keep an eye out for, but he just wasn't seeing him. The forest was empty... Trees stood massive, their limbs branching to the skies, and he looked up and around before stuffing his hands in the pockets of his coat and hurried back to her side. "Not that way..." His voice was soft. He, of course, didn't know that Sae wasn't supposed to be looking for her sister -- not that he'd be able to argue with her. If he lost his little sister to some unknown force, he'd fight tooth and nail to get her back. He tapped a foot on the ground, arms crossed over his chest. "Should we keep walking?" Of course, that was a stupid question. But he waited for a reply, wanting to make sure. Wanting to please her... He smiled at her, rolling his shoulders a bit. He hoped, for Faye's sake, that they might find her soon...

Hiro had given up on waiting. He knew kind of where she came from usually and headed off that way. He was so worried at this point and he needed to talk to someone about where she was. After a few moments he smelled a fresh scent, it almost smelled like Faye, but there was a male scent with it as well and it smelled older. He looked around for it and heard someone close by. "Hello!? FAYE!" he asked. Maybe Faye was with her brother or father. "Faye please is that you!?" He said frantically as he stumbled through the bushes to find a female who kinda looked like a silver version of his Faye and a male he didn't know. "Who are you? Where is Faye? I smell her!" he asked his eyes wide with fear as he looked around hoping she was hiding here someplace.

Saeriel's golden eyes snapped open, not when Rou came back empty handed, but when she heard the boy coming through the foliage. She looked up at Rou and stood, turning and facing the newcomer with little emotion on her face.
"'t seems he has come to us." Sae ran a hand through her hair and looked Hiro up and down wearily. He had been through a lot obviously, considering this forest she wasn't surprised. What did surprise her was that the Anbu hadn't already captured him for questioning.
"Faye... is my sister." she responded keeping eye contact,while trying to hide the hint of despair lingering in her eyes, lightly touching Rou's pant leg as a comforting gesture for herself. "I was your chaperone for the New Years bash remember? Hiro was it? We have a lot to discuss. Please sit, because it seems im your last hope."
Busying herself, Sae was good at that. With a newly acquired skill she managed to make some tea out of crushed mint leaves and blackberries, adding a bit of milk in it from her provisions and pouring it into cups made of leaves. Crafted by her of course.
"Hiro, please let me introduce you to my... Rou." She stopped herself from saying something like 'my you' or even quite possibly mate. He was just... Rou for now, until he indicated otherwise.

Roulette's head jerked up as branches cracked and leaves crushed under someone's steady foot. He felt the hair at the back of his neck prickle, his lip rising not unlike a guard dog's might, body stiffening. At Sae's words, he relaxed. So this was Faye's boyfriend... Mate. He glanced at Sae. Did she consider him her boyfriend? His ears pulled back for the slightest of moments, then flicked forwards once again. He felt her hand near his leg, wanted to touch it with his hand, but he refused himself the option. This was business. His aqua eyes met the Siamese's icy blue ones.
He took the leaf cup from Sae, offering her a smile and a nod in return, lifting it up to his mouth. He sniffed it, the scent deep and wonderful, and it tasted refreshing.
At Sae's words, her slight stumble over his name, he smiled. He was hers... He liked that, he decided, and held out a hand to the other boy. "Roulette."

Toshiro looked over the two of them. Sister...and boyfriend thing...He sat down near them, his eyes wide in fear as he looked at her and she said that she was his last hope. He took the offered tea but held it in his hands too worried as he watched her. "Yes, Toshiro, or Hiro for short. I remember you now Sae. But its nice to meet you Rou." He said remembering his manners even as his heart tried to hammer out of his throat. "Please...what happened? Is she hurt? Does she not love me any more? Did your parents make her leave cause they don't like me or my father?" He asked as he rolled the cup in his hands and watched her nervously. He was so scared that she didn't love him anymore and had just left or was hiding from him. "Please i've been in the forest for three days and night worried about her...I'm terrified!" He said as he finally sniffed the tea and took a sip.

A sad smile touched the Silver female's face. How did she tell him? Tell him and keep them all safe and out of most harm? But then he made the comment about her and Faye's parents. She felt bad for him yes, but that was a bit too far and she had to correct him.
"My father and mother are more honorable then that Hiro. They care about their children, and like other beings they have some likes and dislikes about who their children are dating, but to say they would separate you and Faye...thats a bit too far even for my pity for your situation. We are her family, we don't want to cause her any more harm then you would."
She shook her head, resting her hand on her forehead as a bitter smile formed on her lips and a disgusting taste lingered in her mouth. "Hiro, im only telling you on my conditions, as horrible as that sounds, Faye would have wanted it that way. She never wanted any harm to come of you, and if you don't listen to me, it will."

He felt the tension snap tight between them, looking between Sae's sorrowful smile and the siamese's worried glance. As Sae began to 'correct' the other male, Roulette couldn't help but smirk at his misfortune. How long ago was it that he was under her knife and sharp tongue? His aqua eyes glittered with a strange mirth as he crossed his arms over his chest and watched, silent and still. He had no right to interrupt, not like he had anything to say anyways, so he kept his mouth shut and only smiled back at Sae so when she would look up, she would feel...hopefully, reassured.

Hiro folded his ears back and nodded. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean anything by it really. I just know that they haven't been happy with me And they don't want her out alot. Please i'm sorry. I'll do what ever it takes to get her back. I just need to have my Faye in my arms again...please!" He said looking from her to the male. He didn't know what to do and he was so scared for her...why...why hadn't she told him yet! Something bad had happened...this wasn't good. He shook cause he wanted to kill what ever was doing this to his Faye. She was a princess and didn't need to go through what ever was happening to her!

Sae shook her head again, as though it was a way to clear away all the misfortune. "Sorry, I don't take people speaking illy of my family well. Let me ask you something Hiro, and I want you to reply in a calm civilized manner, because you don't know who is really listening and shouting is only going to let us loose any advantage we have. Have you heard about the recent influx in captures by the humans, how some cats have turned back up after a period of time, damaged as never before?" She looked over to Rou, her hand twitching to hold his with the thought of all of this sadness. Sae needed comfort, but she wouldn't allow that weakness to be seen by Hiro.
"we need you to have cold anger, not hot for this rescue mission."

Rou could see where the siamese male was coming from; if he had someone close to his heart, he'd want them to stay safe, no matter what. He glanced up, watching Sae carefully. He was so undecided...did she like him -that- way? Or was he just a friend with benefits? He could see himself caring for the little silver bobtail like Hiro obviously cared for Faye... Yes, he could see that well...
He felt himself warm from the inside out when Sae reached for his hand, which he gave up without a word. He squeezed it gently and smiled, but said nothing.

Hiro looked at the two of them and his heart fluttered as she spoke about the cats who had gone missing...and come back as...not them selves. He clenched his fist and nodded. "I've heard of them. I've heard of it all....Did Faye...She...Shes there with them isn't she?" he asked as he fought back the anger. He tried to make it calm but he just saw red and wanted to kill it all! He closed his eyes and looked away. "Please tell me were going after her if she is." he said with a growl as he told himself to calm down.

Sae took his hand greatfully, looking at the worked leather boots cladding her legs with a sigh. "Yes she was captured by them, but under no circumstances are you to run off by yourself and be the idiotic hero. I'm not telling you where they are located unless you are with me and abide by my rules, otherwise im rescuing her on my own."
She shook herself, showing no emotion whatsoever. It would be bad to show any kind of emotion on a mission, she knew that much first hand. It made you weak, pliable to the enemies whims. Lightly she traced her sai in her boot with a finger before taking inventory mentally of all the weapons stashed away on her body, just in case the little brat decided they must leave tonight. She was well armed, she knew Rou wasn't... but was Hiro?
"What weapons do you have on you and how quick can you pull them?"

Rou settled back, squaring his shoulders, watching Sae with a smile playing at his lips. She was too cute...and he was a little too obsessed with her. Damn, no girl had ever done this to him before; he was Roulette -- a confident, if not cocky young male who needed no one, especially not some warrior girl... But yet... His heart told him otherwise.
He peered curiously at Hiro. The male looked harmless...and a little weak, if you asked him. How could he possibly have a weapon on him, or even know how to use one? He sniffed the air a little, then shrugged. "Doesn't look like he knows how to fight." That was just his two-cents worth.
