Regarding Any Posts You Make

When Making A Thread
1. Before you make a thread please scroll through at least the first page or two and make sure there isn't a topic already made.
Chances are your question has already been asked and answered.
2. When making your topic in the title box, please make your topic simple, easy to read, and specific to your question. Please don't post something along the lines of: "ZoMg I nEedz HaLP!!!" Something along the lines of "2010 Easter Hoards" will likely get you a much faster response.
3. When asking your question in the post box, please make your question clear and concise. We are not English majors here so we don't expect spelling and grammar to be perfect but enough where we can understand your question is sufficient. What I'm really aiming at is for people to refrain from using chat speak, typing in alternating lower case and capitalized letters or replacing letters with numbers. It can get really distracting.
4. If you don't see your topic being addressed by the time it lands on the second page feel free to bump it back to the first page.
5. If you feel that your question has sufficiently been answered and no longer need the thread, feel free to ask a mod in your topic title to delete it.
6. This hasn't been a major issue yet but just in case: Anything that does not have to do with earning gold goes in the
Randomness and Awesomeness subforum.
When Posting Within A Thread
Although no serious problems have arisen in the guild just yet, in an effort to curb any future problems that may arise I am putting this here to be sure all bases have been covered.
1. Use common sense.
2. Try to stay on topic within the thread you are in. If it is a topic on Silver Laurels, don't post asking when is a good time to buy a Nightmare sash. There is likely a thread already made for that and your question is probably already answered.
2. Some members might give out advice that you don't agree with, if you don't agree with it kindly state so and give reasons why. Don't just tell a user they're wrong and flat out insult them by name calling or putting them down. It is something that will NOT be tolerated in this guild.
(it is also something that will incur the wrath of Cryptex XIII)
3. Again, when making a post please try to keep it as close to the English language as possible. This means leave chat speak to your text messages, don't post in alternating capital and lower case letters and don't replace letters with numbers.
Possible Punishments
- Most people will just be told to post in ______'s thread instead and have their topic's locked/deleted/moved (a link will be provided for the thread to post in).
If people persist in not following the rules: (Note: these are very extreme cases so don't freak out too much after reading)
- You will receive a warning and be asked to re-read the rules in this thread.
- You will receive a harsh warning where if you are caught again you will be banned.
- The final warning will result in a banning, in order to re-join the guild you must appeal to the guild captain (in this case Kitty), explaining your case and why you think you should still be allowed in the guild. (This is a REALLY extreme case I doubt anyone is going to get this far.)
