Welcome to The Forest How did we get here? No one really knows. One thing is positive, no one here has aged past age nineteen. The Forest is tropical and much like a wide jungle with no end, there is one ocean, however as far as we all know; it leads to the end of this earth. This is a forest of Six tribes.

The Snake Tribe. This tribe lives on the floor of The Forrest, and many of it's members are punks. The Snake Tribe, or more commonly known as "The Snakes", are earth based in their affinity's and skills.

The Fish Tribe. This tribe lives in and around the rivers and lakes of The Forest. "The Fish", as they are more commonly called, often have affinities for water, and are often excellent swimmers and fishers.

The Frog Tribe. The "Frogs" live in the middle of the forests trees, often found hanging around among other activities, the Frog are especially skilled in hunting with spears, climbing, and some have affinities that involve living plant life. They are known for a long lasting rivalry with the Snake.

The Bird Tribe. The birds have taken to living above The Forest, many of the members of the Bird Tribe are rather tan and the group has developed wooden gliders, to soar the skies in and to hunt birds. Many have affinities for Air or wind control.

The Solar Tribe This tribe lives in the upper forest where trees are thin and Sunlight reaches through the branches. This tribe is Truly very tan, and is known to have been allies with The Bird in past wars between the six tribes. Like The Frog, they are skilled with long range weapons and the majority are archers, some have affinities for Fire.

The Industrial Tribe. This Tribe is the most "advanced", but the least evolved. They take on metal armor and have built a fortress deep in The Forest. known for being paranoid and immature. of the other "savage" tribes, they are crafty with metal weapons, and some have the power to mold metal and mine stone.

The six tribes stand for the six elements, Earth, Water, Wood, Air(Wind), Fire, and Metal. Though the tribes have their set differences, and sometimes allies and enemies, that does not stop them form interacting civilly, The Forrest is set by a lunar calendar, and once a year the tribes come together in celebration of a new year, and once a month on the full moon the tribe leaders gather with their healers to discuss the events of the past month, settle debts, and possibly stop wars.
So, Whic Tribe are You a member of?

((OOC: I know I am terrible at making persuasive RP- intros but please give this one a chance I can bet it will be a ton of fun if the effort is put in.))

Setting-
The Forrest is very tropical and jungle like in most places, however there are places that are not so foresty. The lakes for example have very few trees around them, and the area around the Industrial Tribe's fortress is near the mountains and is completely devoid of trees for at the very least ten miles all the way around.
The ground of the forest can be wet, swampy, or hard clay, it depends upon where you are. The base of The Snake is over a space that is floored with hard-red clay. but over the edge of their main territory that is closer to the big river and The Fish, is swampy and is only traveled when completely necessary as it is riddled with blood-sucking bugs and sink holes.
The trees are tall and round, The Frog have built many floating platforms in the branches of trees, where they live, The Bird and The Solar have done the same, though their platforms are not as vast or as thick. The Bird have very light platforms. They spend most of their time on their gliders or on sky-rising structures that were built long ago. The Solar live in much the same way, but do not have gliders. The Solar have built floating houses for residence and their platforms are made for market or meeting purposes.
The Fish, live in dock-side cities and in underwater caves. there are a total of six discovered lakes in The Forest, Three are occupied by The Fish, and many more beyond the small areas that the tribes dwell in.
The Final place in The Forrest, is the ocean, the ocean is over 300 miles east of the most eastern lake. it is wide deep and cold. As far as the children of the Trees know, it leads to nowhere, and nowhere leads to certain death.
{edited}

((OOC: "floating" just means that the platforms are not bolted to the trees but build around them, giving the impression of "floating"))

SDK Manga Girl
Gaia Name: SDK Manga Girl

Character Name: Stella

Rule of Choice: Profiles, should be sent to me with the title of your tribe, the tribes are listed above.

History: Born to be wild, Stella was a feisty and stubborn kid, not giving in to anything. As she grew up, few would swoon at her looks, but she was fond of her huge golden eyes and red hair, even if her smile was a bit lopsided and her teeth were a bit crooked.

When Stella was 6, she knew most of everything a 10 year-old would, but no one took notice of it. All the tribe knew about and noticed about her were her actions and her punishments, so no one knew about her quiet, bitter side.
