I noticed something...I dont want to learn a language which I cant write in cursive rofl How picky.
Whats a pet-peeve you have with languages?
Anything holding you back from learning certain languages?

Well, I don't have any language pet peeves... yet.
But regular ones: people coughing, screaming children/babies, close-minded people, being ignored, lying, people talking behind my back, people replying with nothing but "XD" or a smiley in MSN.

Sockers Well, I don't have any language pet peeves... yet. But regular ones: people coughing, screaming children/babies, close-minded people, being ignored, lying, people talking behind my back, people replying with nothing but "XD" or a smiley in MSN. I don't like languages with too many cognates to English. I never can tell if I'm saying an actual word or if I'm just saying an English word word with an accent.
Languages that don't use the Arabic script because I've become too lazy to write vowels.
Not having Byki deuluxe anymore because my laptop crashed (grrr I spend 40 bucks too, and I think I'm more mad about losing my language software than my laptop) And because of that I can't edit the diacritic marks out and I have to type them, and I'm too lazy to want to do that.
I can't think of any others that aren't specific languages. XD
