Not bad but I would so own ya both. Your motions were way too choppy and not fluid enough. Also the way the " swords " were being gripped was wrong for the whole ninja vs. samurai thing.

Just sayin' proper grip gives better motion. I've done the same thing with friends using actual bokkens but they don't like trying it any more since I know how to actually use a katana and the last time they were limping from a shin hit that they couldn't block after a parry. It also brought to mind this video. Samurai Sword screw up on Shop at Home Network.Just in case you have any swords with stainless steel blades keep in minds the video.

Easy way to solve the grip problem for next time is to use a combo of ellectrical tape topped with athletic tape to form a handle section. The first bokkens I ever had were either hand carved by myself with a pocket knife or cheap $10-$20 ones that hand either very little to no laquer so I know the whole spilnter in the hand from tryin' ta' be ninja bada$$ deal. Even now I still wrap the handles of my bokkens out of habit despite them being custom made and paying anywhere from $60 - $100 bucks per bokken.
