A short story I wrote about 2 years ago? Yeah about then, after one of my exes broke up with me. Kind of awkward when I read it now, but usually all sentimental pieces of work are. Yeah uhmm, if you like it or don't like it and would like to elt em know, by all means do.
I fell in love with a ghost. This has been a first. Little do I realize how much I mean to someone else, little do they realize how much I want to mean to someone else. How often do you come upon a lovely ghost, to take your hand and show you the afterlife? The rain falls outside my window. My window only it seems. No one else can taste its delights as I do. No one else can acknowledge the fact that falling in love with a ghost isn’t as astonishing as it may sound. My picture of it is that a ghost you know for sure, you can see right through them. It’s an easy route. After the boat carries me away across the sea, how many birds will follow? How many has died at that moment? How many birds are in this problematic world? Ghosts know. They know best. They know the answer to the hardest question on a test. They know the answer to how the mind works. You can show them the skeletons your closet. You can drip your mind like candle wax to them. Each raindrop is like a life isn’t it? Can’t life be anything? What dare bounds life to an organic vessel? I find as the rain drop thuds to the ground it has been born. It goes through a whole life cycle, rises to the skies, to be poured down again to a new life. Yes, what about those rain drops which are still alive, deep down in caves, and other places where the cycle ceases to exist? Yeah, those can be ghosts, sure they can. And I have just jumped into a pile of them. As the water washes over my bare body, as the molecules of ghost fill each crack in my skin, as the water envelopes all my strands of hair, as it crawls up into my nostrils, I realize I am drowning, in my thoughts, and the love that fools me is holding my head down. Only then I realize, you can’t fall in love with a ghost. There’s no such thing.
I particularly Like the abrupt ending, kind of reflects what happened to me haha.

Ai_Sakuya_Ai Such deep thought I can read the emotion in the words biggrin Though there were a few grammatical errors... Yeah, especially the run on sentence near the end. Maybe I'll fix it up soon.
