Flicking her tail around, Uru's wide eyes glanced around eagerly. Her small body was set upon a rock, her body sprawled out on the warm surface. The young dog had nothing to do, but her mind wouldn't let that absence of excitement turn into boredom. She flexed her paws, and became overly interested in the small tufts of fur that poked through her toes. They seemed so fuzzy and fluffy, gently sweeping around her little claws.

Twitching her ears, the bouncy pup faintly noticed the sound of someone else near her. While she was here in the pack lands, she wasn't afraid of anything, especially since her half-sister was the Sheikh. The one thing that did hold her attention was a pastel butterfly that happened to pass by the airspace right in front of her nose. She focused on it, becoming a bit cross-eyed for a moment as she zeroed in on the creature. Her rear end waggled up, and she pounced after it, missing it's delicate wings by just inches each time. She pawed at it in the air, following it, unbeknownst to her, towards the faint sound she had heard earlier.

Mojito's paws tapped out a rhythm as the energetic young adult danced across the terrain. This was pack territory if he'd ever seen one and that just added fuel to his fire. For a dog who thrived in society he rarely ever got to see anyone during his rogue journey's, which was a real bummer.

Flipping his bright tail, he wobbled to the right and slid to a dramatic stop, making a jazzy hiss, eyes bright from the exercise. At that moment it became apparent to him that a little brown pup was approaching, playing with a little butterfly. Mojito smiled. She was cute; as cute as a style cramper could get, anyway.

While he watched her the butterfly came and landed on his nose. He blinked, his lime green ears perking up as his entire body tensed. Fly away, fly away...

Still devoutly following the butterfly, Uru inched closer to the older dog, his light body vaguely coming into sight. She thought little of it, his green blending with the grass, and the rest of his body becoming a ghost in Uru's eyes. It was a wonder, then, when the butterfly landed on what seemed to be nothing. Uru stopped dead in her tracks, blinking a few times to try and figure out why the butterfly had stopped. Her vision clearing, her brown eyes widened a little as the full figure of the adult dog came into view. She gazed up at him, a broad smile spreading across her maw.

"You've got a butterfly on your nose." She stated the obvious, reaching one paw up to try and swat at the little insect, but was far too small to actually reach it. "I bet it thinks you're pretty." Uru was merely taking observations she had made about butterflies liking flowers and comparing. Though, looking him over, he was rather pretty. "Butterflies would never land on me." She looked down at her dark coat. "'Cause I look like mud." She grinned, giggling at the thought.

His entire body tensed that much tighter the closer she came. It seemed like he was looking straight into her chocolate eyes, but she was seeing nothing. Mojito blew a little gust upwards, trying to dislodge the butterfly before dooms day.

When she finally noticed him, the adult visibly relaxed. His nervous frown turned to a smile at watching her play. "Nah, really?" He teased, playing keep away with the butterfly. The color of her coat hadn't been much concern earlier, but looking at her now, he had to agree. "I dunno, looks like you got a flower right-" As he spot, Mojito got closer until his nose bumped against the diamong on her head, transferring the butterfly over to her. "-there."

Her mouth dropping open slightly as the older male drew closer, Uru's eyes were locked onto the butterfly that gently moved onto her head. She was careful not to make many movements, even slowing her breathing to keep her chest from moving her head. She grinned broadly, her brown eyes flicking up to focus on the bright green in circles or orange.

"So I get to be a flower to!" She closed her eyes, so happy to have the attention of the little butterfly. "Do you think it likes me? Or maybe it's upset because it's been tricked." She blinked, and watched as the butterfly twitched its wings, starting to flutter up. "Oh well." She giggled, eyes following the bright little insect. "Well, I don't think you can be a flower anymore. So what can I call you?" Her tail flicked up, and she bounced closer to the older dog. "My name is Uru."

He leaned back with a smile, his mouth slightly agape as he watched the juv. Pups weren't something he was used to, but on a basic level he found that he could relate more to them than their stuffy parents. His bright orange tail swished back and forth playfully. "Of course it likes you. Butterflies aren't smart enough to realize when they've been tricked."

Mojito watched the butterfly lazily. "Until we meet again, little friend~" He held his paw up for a salute and shifted his attention back to the pup. "You can call me Mojito, little Uru. Hey, bet'cha you can't tell me whose lands these are, can ya?" His bum wagged playfully as his body lowered down to play mode. Still, his lime green eyes were forever scanning the horizon for an angry mother to accost him over being a *****>

"Mo-ji-to~" Uru rolled the name over her tongue, loving the sound of it. Her brown eyes glimmered in the sun, and she looked up at him, smiling. He was pretty fun, for an adult. Her own mother seemed to always worry, mainly because of how she took on her first pup, Uru's adopted older sister, the Sheikh. She couldn't blame her mother, but Uru needed to have more fun than the worrysome mother would normally allow.

"These are the Amani lands." She looked at him pretty frankly, with a slight hint of a smirk in the corner of her mouth. "Are you going to stay here for awhile?" She creeped up a little closer to him, briefly eyeing the fuzzy orange fur on his paws. Though she didn't want to admit it, she secretly wanted him to stay, if only for a little while longer. Uru had never met a dog like him, and she felt like they were on the same wavelength. She stared at him intently, very focused on his answer.

"Amani, huh?" Mojito ran the name through a list of references in his brain and when it didn't click with anything, he shrugged. "Maybe, maybe not. Depends on how much fun I can have."

He was a dog that thrived on the energy of others and didn't think of much else besides having a good time. It wasn't that he was a play boy, for he had just as much fun without that kind of contact as he did with it. At the moment he was just...bored. And lonely.

Seeing her line of sight, Mojito wriggled his paws. When he really looked at her his smile began to wan. "What? Not good enough? Your going to rat me out, aren't you?"

"I'd never!" She stood up on his paws, looking very concerned. She really didn't want him to go. "Not that they'd really care too much...they wouldn't mind you being here for awhile." She withdrew, thinking it her fault that he had turned that way. "I really wish you'd stay..." She mumbled under her breath. She now realized that he really was just like the other adults; fickle and unfun. Though the feelings of a pup were fleeting, and at that moment, they bent drastically because of her renewed lonliness.

"You could have lots of fun! Especially since I'm here." She brought her head back up, mood swinging back into a happy state. She was quite determined to keep him here, as long as he was being fun.

Mojito laughed. He couldn't help it! She was so damn cute. "So I can stay? I guess we'll need to talk to your mom...dad...someone." He vaguely pondered the ideals of staying in one place. It all depended on the community, and how well they got along with one another. On one side of the coin was his freedom and the other a little mud pup.

He grinned and reached over to tug on her ear lightly. "I don't know. Your being awfully serious for someone who says she's fun. How am I supposed to believe you?"

"Of course you can stay!" Her eyes lit up, and she pranced around in circles. The rest of his words seemed so unimportant, now that he was staying. She plopped down in front of him, staring at him for a few moments smiling before replying to his other words. "Oh! Well....we don't need to tell them you're here just yet." She grinned, wanting to keep him to herself for a little while longer. Besides, they wouldn't mind too much if she hung out with him for a while, even if he was a stranger.

"I'm so fun!" She stuck out her botton lip, pouting at his statement. "Besides, I don't see you coming up with any fun things to do." She grinned back at him, jumping up to lick his dark nose.

Mojito watched her out the corner of his eyes and when she flopped down infront of him, he blew a big raspberry on her head. "Works for me. So long as I won't be in any trouble."

He gaped and gasped dramatically, his nose wrinkling up. "I'm way more fun than you are. You're just a pup; what do you know about fun?" With a long stretch, Mojito stepped over her. His paws pranced in a wide circle before turning back to face her. "Do you know how to play 'fake-out'?"

Giggling at his action, Uru closed her eyes. This wasn't bad at all. Sure, he was a little older, but Uru found herself liking him more than anyone else.

"Oh? And how is that?" She made a comically angry face at him, not really seeing how an adult could be more fun than this little ball of fluff. Her nose pointed upward, her head followed under him as he stepped over, her small eyes gawking at his large frame.

"Fake-out? O-of course I do!" Lying through her teeth, Uru tried to think of what the game could be. "B-but maybe you should explain it anyway, so we're thinking about the same one." She dipped her head, avoiding his gaze. She could feel her face turn red with embarassment, not wanting him to be right because she didn't know what game he was talking about.

Mojito stood proudly, if not a little arrogantly, with his tail flipped to the side and his head turned to the sky. He snerked. This was going to be fun.

"Oh good, then I won't have to go easy on you." The young adult chirped merrily. Of course he knew she was a newbie, most were except for the dare devils. He watched her face with a wave of amusement. "Fake out is an easy game with no rules. All you do is run at each other at the same time. The point is the make the other think your going to hit them to make them wuss out. Thus the 'fake out.' Got it?"

Gulping nervously, Uru could only imagine what she was in for. "Y-you can still go easy on me. S-s-since I'm a g-girl." Though she would normally never let her gender get in the way of games, she was a little scared by this game. She'd never tried to startle anyone before, and she had certainly never been in a fight, so she had no idea what she was going to do.

"Well I.....I guess." Putting on a determined face, she puffed her chest out, trying to build up her bulk and 'scare' appeal. Though, Mojito was more than twice her size, she could still try, right? Backing up a few feet, she lowered her chest to the ground, her rear sticking up in the air, swaying with the gentle wag of her tail. "O-kay!" She was focused, albeit nervous with the feeling of butterflies in her stomach, but she wanted to impress him, so she bore through it.
