Yeah, I'm christian and I'm...I wouldn't say completely bi, but I do for some reason find women attractive, but I'm not sure if I'd ever be interested in actually doing something with another girl... I dunno, anyway, I do believe in God, but the bible also says marriage is about love, so the man/woman thing just seems silly when that's brought in. The bible contradicts itself in a lot of places, like things being about equality, but then going against it in another part. I dunno, my theory is, the bible wasn't written by God himself, so it doesn't matter to me what the bible says. I believe in God, but I don't believe every word of the bible. If God didn't want gays and bi's in the world, they wouldn't be brought into it, now would they? Some people say that it's the devil that makes us that way, but you're born that way, you can't really control it...I dunno really what to say though, but I did manage to get someone who was against gay marriage to support it a few days ago :3

Sorry, I'm not much help, I feel no need to tell my parents though...and even if I did, my brother pretended to be bi for the past two years and broadcasted it when he obviously wasn't bi at all. So my mother wouldn't be impressed.

Galatians 3:28: ...there is neither male nor female, for we are all one in Christ Jesus.

The main reason that any other sexual orientation is 'wrong' in the eyes of most Christians is because their god said to be fruitful and multiply. Obviously, a woman and a woman (or a man-man) cannot bare the other's child. Thus, marriage is to be a man-woman ordeal. If you cannot reproduce, then you are a sinner unless you are married to a man and happen to be a barren women.

Some Christians only accept heterosexuality and nothing else. But those people clearly don't even understand their own religion and are hypocrites.

Yes, the Bible says that people should multiply. But if a woman is barren, we do not shun her or force her to get a divorce. So that is no different than a gay marriage in that sense.

And yes, the Bible says a man should not lie with another man as he would lie with a woman. People sure do love to throw that quote around to "prove their point." However, the Bible also talks about killing people, men having multiple wives, and keeping slaves. We don't allow those things, and we don't throw those quotes around.

So it seems to me that ignorant people pick and choose the parts of the Bible that benefit them and can support their hate. Educated people usually look at the Bible as a collection of inspirational stories, not as a collection of actual rules sent down by God himself. The Bible was written by a variety of people a very long time ago. Things were very different then. We cannot expect to live by exactly the same rules or standards, and I don't think the people who wrote the Bible really expected us to either. They were just going through a tough time and writing stories to help them get through it.

This is why I dropped any thoughts, etc on religion. I live as if though religion never exists. I obey all laws of the land, but still do what I want long as I'm not physically hurting anyone. Don't be ashamed of being Bi and religion is a petty excuse to say or be mean to others who see things differently.

Most people don't know they can't have children until they try and don't succeed. After one year of actively trying without success a couple can visit a fertility specialist though.

What does that have to do with sexual orientation?

Being barren? I mentioned it in my post. "Yes, the Bible says that people should multiply. But if a woman is barren, we do not shun her or force her to get a divorce. So that is no different than a gay marriage in that sense."

I personally believe that God made me gay. According to the Bible, God knows us before we're even born (Psalms 139:13-14), so, if sexual orientation is innate--which it very much appears to be--then I feel that for whatever reason, some of us aren't heterosexual.

Reverend Mel White has written a very informative article regarding the Bible's view on homosexuality, which definitely applies to bisexuals, too. It might help you to give it a read.

And remember, hon--God loves you no matter what. <3

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. I John 4:7-8

Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. I John 4:11-12

I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way.
What you have done is wonderful.
I know this very well. Psalms 139:14

you can't be christian or catholic and be bi, gay, or lesbian
you would be considered a hypocrite because it states in your religion that homosexuality is wrong. and you will go to hell lol
