Cloud of dust pillared into the air, drifting off as the wind caught it. At the eye, paws flew at speeds faster than any gazelle could spring away or any rabbit could dash to its bolt hole. Flurry of brown and tan with eyes red with determination, paws flew down below sending up pillars of dust.
"HAH!" the male cried as he slammed a paw down upon a seeming abandoned hole only to lift to find nothing was truly there. Twitching the tip of his tail, he waited before another 'phoomp' noise sounded behind him. Jerking around, he slammed his paw down again. more 'phoomps' and his paws were moving fast again, clouds of dust in the air.
"Hold still you stupid gopher!"

The golden and gray female had been walking for a long time, the souls of her feet stung from her lack of rest and her eyes felt heavy with a never ending sleep chasing her all the way here, to the outer-skirts of the pride lands. She sighed and stopped, her skinny frame tired, warn even as she at down and winced. She felt so weak. She... she needed to relax for a while. At first she thought she was alone, but, the sound of someone else made her stand back up (Poor girl) and with a heavy head she looked around, frowning.
"Hello?"
She called out, her tone light-laced in wary.

A voice calling out back to him put a pause to his game of catching the gopher. A female's voice? One that called out with question and a hint of wariness that put this one at slight concern. Being one of his father's sons it would be dishonor to ignore a female in such a state!
Without missing much a beat after that thought, he got to his feet, padding off in the direction of the voice. It was not too long after did he find the female nearby only to cause himself to stop yet again. It was really a female and looking at her, she was just ready to keel over at this point. Pushing himself, the male runs to her side, quickly offering his shoulder and back for her in case she would collapse.
"What are you doing out here?" Kaien asked. He should have asked why she was in such a state and tried to compliment her regardless of her state to make her smile and feel more at ease with him.

"I think I am lost."
She blushed at him and sat down, her tired paws side by side as she sat up right and gave him a tired smile, a weak look of welcome-ness.
"My name is Tuu- forgive me for bothering you. I just, I wandered in here without any real idea as to where I was or who was around me."
She didn't want to be rude, he seemed so nice already. She hoped she hadn't stopped him from enjoying his evening.

"You've found yourself in the Pride Lands, you're safe and welcomed here," He replied, settling himself beside her carefully, watching her for any signs of being uncomfortable. Everything about her just seemed to radiate "weakness". She certainly seemed liked she needed some rest.
Kaien was polite, listening to her words carefully and offering a smile and the occasional purr. She seemed like a good hearted female, at least she wasn't the mean type of rogues out there that just wanted to cause problems.
"I'm Kaien. There is nothing to apologize for, Tuu," he smiled. "A beautiful female like you would have to rest at one point. Look at you, if I hadn't come, you may have collapsed and no one would have known!"
.... Smooth, Kaien. Smooth.

She blushed at his words, she never knew what to do when someone called her beautiful, and in truth she couldn't even see what they saw, because she did not feel pretty, not one bit. She nodded at him and spoke out, her tone light.
"I've been waking for about two days now."
Though she laughed she knew it was un-healthy and she needed to relax. Maybe she could find some company with him for a while?
"Kaien, thank you for being so kind to me."
She smiled at him brightly.

"I am but a humble Pride Lander, there is no need for thanks. I find it surprising your mate would let a wonderful flower such as yourself wander around on your own."
Perhaps it was bold to state that she had a mate. No real proof. Then again, she was beautiful and it was a little difficult to wrap his mind around seeing her as a single female without a male by her side. Quickly glancing around with red eyes, no shadows lingered near. The last thing he wanted was said mate to attack him for getting friendly with her.
"Well, it isn't too wise to walk that long without any type of rest, Miss Tuu," he replied. She seemed to be warming up to him and he was too to her. Boldly he asked, "How about you spend a few days here in the Pride Lands, relax some before you head off again. It's very open hair and lots of food."
More so, he wanted her to stay a while. But that was good reason too.

At his comment about her 'mate' she laughed. Tuu had never had a mate before, so to her, it was silly when people asked her about it or assumed she had one, she just smiled and helped clear things up for him.
"I have no mate, or family. So it's just me."
She giggled at him when he looked around. She didn't feel worried being around him. Most males would worry her, but he didn't.
"That sounds like a lovely idea- mind if I stay with you for a few days?"
She asked, her ears lowered.

"Oh how silly of me, you just seem too attractive to be without one. Look at you, you're in your prime. To say the least, I find it shocking."
Kaien chuckled to himself as he eased. No mate meant no male around to suddenly ambush him. The last thing he needed was a fight. It had been quite a while since he had to fight with someone.
His smile slowly faded into a look of utter confusion and embarrassment.
Oh no! I-I still live with Dad, god, if I brought her back there ... I won't land a chance with her!
With a nervous chuckle, he smiled again.
"Certainly, I have a place close by, it's nothing special though so don't get too excited."
Certainly, Ezeoha can do without his son.

Tuu smiled at him and spoke out.
"Thank you so much. This really means a lot."
She had no idea he was trying to be 'smooth', because she was very unaware of what someone was... well, making a subtle move on her.
"Let's get going then."
Fate. Thats what things like this could be blamed on. Pure acts of happy-fate.
End <3
