"Today... today? What do I want to do today?" Wendigo cooed it, mostly to himself. Well, no, all to himself. There wasn't anyone else around to hear it, after all. He was bored indeed though. Bored of being by himself, even if the conversations were interesting enough.
Also, it was almost lunch time. Was he hungry? Yes? Maybe? Not quite? Not quite. He had time to find someone mentally stimulating to munch on then. Where to find them? That HQ building usually had several souls in and out of it, around it, somewhere in the vicinity at least. Did that sound good? Yes, that sounded just peachy.
Off he trotted then, head low and paws fast, a predator trying to stay out of sight while still covering ground. Not that his bright markings lent much help to that effect, but whatever. It was what felt natural.
Ah! The door, the door, there was the door. What was on the other side? He pulled the handle down to open and shoved the apparatus and the door along with it rather roughly aside before bounding inside. He probably rather resembled an overly excitable kit with the way he was fidgeting and bouncing and looking about. Oh but he did hope there was someone interesting here today. Interesting and tasty. Yes.

The female Nightmare yawned lazily on the warm wooden floors inside the HQ. Every day has been so boring. Her daughter was no fun at all either. No matter how much she tried to con her into coming with her to torment Kitsus, the young female refused. What a spoil sport.
Lightly clawing at the ground, she gave out another yawn. Hopefully someone interesting would show up. Maybe she can torment whoever it was that entered the doorway next.

A smell, most interesting smell, met his nose as he went into the big room. And there before his eyes a blurred purple mass revealed itself to be a Nightmaren once he stopped swiveling his head so fast in his attempts to survey the room quickly. A Nightmare kitsu... she smelled tasty!
Digo turned abruptly toward the Nightmare, toward the claws and beak and horns, and sat himself down just in front of her with a heavy "whump". "I must say you look much more interesting than the chumps who usually wander in here. Here for a bit of sport, perhaps?" Oh, what if she was here to hunt for lunch too? Was it appropriate to nibble on a fellow hunter? She was large, rather large, he wasn't sure if one of the regular bores would feed the both of them. Mayhap if a dragon was around? Hrm.

She wasn't paying very much attention to the area around her. Few would pick fights in here, let alone pick fights with a Nightmare of all species. So it wasn't until he made himself obvious by sitting next to her and even went so far as to strike conversation with her.
"Hmmm? Sport? Maybe sport to roll you around between my paws. Hunting is for low-grade peasants."

"Roll me? Hmm? Pfft, no, I'm not much of a roller." The way he said it made it fairly obvious that he had either missed Lilith's point with making the comment, or completely disregarded it... and something hinted toward the latter. "And sport, you know. Crush hearts, break minds, ruin lives. That sort of thing. Hunting isn't about sport, it's about lunch. Though the ones that are the most entertaining usually taste the best, but that's beside the point."
And grades? What was she talking about? There were grades of... pheasants? That didn't make any sense. Pheasants were meat, he didn't grade them, he just ate them. But pheasants didn't hunt, either. Was she grading the hunters? You were either good at hunting or you were meat. Perhaps further interaction would shed some light on the matter. "What are you here for, then?"

She did fancy the idea of crushing hearts, breaking minds and ruining lives. That was certainly something she enjoyed. The physical stuff not so much. Getting all that disgusting gooey liquid between the paws was a grotesque feeling for her. She didn't need to hunt. There was already someone who would provide her with all the necessities she wanted.
Everything to her had a certain standard. Of course, basically everyone besides Nightmares (and even some Nightmares at that) were of lower caliber in comparison. Nothing was more superior than Nightmares, she thought. He seemed interesting, so maybe a C or D at best. Definitely not A material...yet.
"Here for? I ponder what I am here for. Perhaps I am here to ponder what I am here for? Or maybe to ponder nothing at all."

"A ponderous queery indeed to set the mind to. Less so if the mind chooses to go a less perplexing route." Yes, this one might prove interesting indeed! It was starting to look like she could at least talk circles around most of the others he came in contact with. "But this place, at this juncture in time, do you have a particular reason? If you were here to quip philosophical quandaries at the weak of mind, though, I could certainly understand that. You can practically hear the mental gears spinning uselessly as they try to process it, it really can be entertaining."

"Hmph" She scoffed outloud. This one wasn't as fun as she hoped. He not only understood her words, but was arrogant enough to spit the same "logic" at her. Maybe he would find her some poor Kitsu dumb enough to bully? Then again, he didn't seem very reliable.
"Well, meat," she paused briefly before sitting up, "Find me something interesting to entertain me then. You are rather lacking in that department."
