You know the drill. Between Leez0rz's Aleshanee and Lita Rutherford's Antirrhinum majus The glaringly red stallion grumbled a bit as he moved along the riverside. His eyes were closed for long moments, opening only to glance around for a few moments to look for movement. He was long over due for a visit to his mother. And he was already dreading the reaction he'd get upon his appearance. However he had to smile a bit. As annoying as the fretting could be, something about it was enjoyable. Hmm... Antirr stopped and opened his eyes. He'd been away from home for a long time, and his mother was going to be in a fit, he already knew. So perhaps he should pick some flowers or something to soften her up a bit. And with that thought, and a light breeze to toss his sparkly purple mane and shuffle the flowers in it, he set to work. He located a suitable patch and started selecting his flowers.

The air was still cool, but that didn't change the fact that flowers were budding already. A young angeni mare stood in delight in a small clearing within the forest, not too far from the river. Her gray eyes shone in bliss and happiness, taking in a deep breathe to smell the flowers. Her eyes took in the area around her: tulips breaking through the dirt, cherry blossoms were beginning to blossom, and in another area, roses were starting to bud. Her tail wagged behind her, knowing it wouldn't be too long until they all started to bloom!
The mare took time to go up to each of the flower buds, nudge with with her nose, and pray for the young flower that it will grow up beautiful, strong, and healthy. She couldn't help but feel happiness bud within her heart for the young buds.

Antirr hopped from flower patch to flower patch, moving into the forest beside the river. He had a small pile on his back, moving smoothly so they didn't fall off. He paused to look around, checking to make sure it was clear. However his eyes settled on a beautiful winged mare. He blinked a few times, then squared his shoulders, moving towards her. "You there!" He called out.
He took this mare in. She was beautiful. Like some little flower. The wings were impressive. She was likely frail however. He mentally snorted. Perhaps he could coax her into following him. Would be interesting to keep her around. She was easy on the eyes. But he'd run into tricky mares before. This one could prove more then she first appeared.

Aleshanee still had her nose in the flowers when she heard someone call out. Her ears perked up, and she slowly drew her head away from the lovely flower before her. Her gray eyes searched for the caller, and locked her eyes on the form of a bright red stallion. Curiosity shone in her eyes, looking to him as if questioning if he meant her. She blinked lightly, wondering if he knew her, or if she knew him? It seemed strange that he would just call out to her. At least, she was not used to the gesture.
Her wings were folded at her sides since they were not in use. It was a strain if she kept them out and stretched out for too long without use. It would be like the human equivalent of keeping your arms parallel to the ground, and keeping the position for any given amount of time. It was not comfortable at all.
