River was happy, she was resting for now, beside her lay her son. Together they had traveled a long way. Together they had been through a lot, after all they had left a pack, she had left the remainders of both her litters, chip had lost his son and past mate. Together they had been through so much but here they lay at last, in a home they could call their own.
River laid with her head resting on her son's back. He was listening to her thoughts, as he did so often now. It had taken a long time for him to get use to the voices, but he had eventually learnt to tune them out unless he wants them. So for now he was happy to listen to his mother memories but also to listen for anyone else who was in the close vicinity. They were still learning about the pack and he was sure the fact that he was a seer would come in to play at some point. Most pack's liked to have a seer on their side. If his mother was sure this was their home then he would be happy to help the pack in anyway possible.
For now though, they rested as he wondered what his daughter was up to. He hoped that she wouldn't be far but then Icer had a mind of her own.
