It hasn't snowed here recently, which is unusual. I'm hoping for a snow day wednesday.

5 inches = snow day. I wish T.T
There's apparently supposed to a massive snowstorm with white-out conditions starting at around 9 pm today. It's supposed to snow all day Tuesday and most of Wednesday - supposed to end at around 9 pm on Wednesday.
I'm hoping for a snow day.

I was about to say, 5 inches of snow is a "Get ready, because the school's parking lots are going to be hell" day. We have to get 9+ inches to get called out.

Snow days aren't fun anymore. If we ever get one, a day would just be taken from summer break at the end of the year.

All this talk of snow reminds me of the 11 inches we got a while back. I'm beginning to forget what a green lawn looks like it's been here so long and being reinforced by the snow we're getting today. Right now. ****.

It never snows here...But, on the occasional day of bad air, which we get A LOT of, my old town, Fresno, would take a day off and then take one from a vacation.

Ivy & Prince- Well, that's because you guys live in Illinois. Down here, our Highway Department apparently doesn't understand the concept of snow plows. Or salt and sand.
toon- .. I think this is the closest to 11 inches that we will ever get. I'm gonna guesstimate, but I think we have close to 8 inches. And it's still falling.
Roland- move further north?

Bah, the roads where so bad tonight from all the snow we're getting.. it took me an hour to get home when it normally takes me like 30-35. I ended up sliding about 50 feet at one point, almost barfed it scared me so bad. *laughs* But, it never fails.. we will get at least twice what the city I work it gets, so everyone thinks I'm being a wussy if I call snowed in. Last week or whatever week that was that we got 11 inches, the city I work in only got about 5-6. Hmm.. I'm rambling. Time for bed.
