She had never been happier. Her heart seeming to soar almost as if it had wings of its own. This was an amazing feeling, and she could see why so many wolves longed to mate and have pups of their own. It was like.. a beginning.. Like you were approved by the gods and they granted you with the miracles that are puppies. She felt the life in her belly, and she couldnt help but glow with motherly pride.
She had been so happy to tell Rend, and it had been something she couldnt wait to do..
Her silver eyes gleamed as she smiled with her nose in the air. She was scenting for the river, as her thirst was beginning to creep upon her. One thing she hated was to be thirsty, and she knew it wasnt far from here.. Though her being pregnant made the walk slower. She was large, and round, and she had a hard time moving like she used to, though she still had the energy she always had.
She pawed forward, her paws touching the earth only for a few moments before she moved it and continued again. She kept a good pace, for someone so full of child.

Especially the alpha's. But the fact that with each squirming youngster came a harder climb to the throne, Tsunami could not help but be enraged. Most, if not all of her siblings already had at least one litter running about, and if she had seen and heard correctly, her own niece was among those inflicted.
Slipping out from the shadows of the wood from where she had been trailing the waddling, pace-slackened female, Tsunami caught up. "Voila!" She nearly cooed, slowing her pace to match that of the quickly-widening girl. She would play the part of the good aunt, eager to give advice. Scant few times had she ever met any of the children of Shezaam's, and then she was certain never to leave a bad impression. Generally missing, yes. Suspicious? No.

Even if Tsunami had come right out and said that she was a whore for the pregnancy, or any kind of insult, Viola! would be the type to instantly forgive her. After all, she didnt mean anything wrong right?
She wagged her tail at the sight of her aunt. It had definitely been a long time since she had seen her Aunt. Tsunami was odd, or so Shezaam said. Though Shezaam was cautious of the return of Tsunami. Voila!, however, was not the type to hold caution over family.
"Tsunami!" She barked happily, wandering over to her, and smiling. She was clearly a daughter of Twist. She lacked any bit of orange Wazaam carried, but she did clearly carry the bands that were around Voila!'s own ankles.
Chuckling, she looked back into Tsunami's eyes, rather than looking over her pelt.
"I didn't know you were around! Im sorry." She smiled, and let her eyes look happy.

"Nothing meant, dear niece." The female replied with a congenial dip of her head, shrugging off the apology. "Hardly anyone does." It was a joke only meant for herself and she heartily enjoyed it, but just for a brief moment as her curled smile twitched like a tick at one end. Silver eyes took quick inventory of Voila! and she would have to be a much dumber one to think that the younger femme was anything but pregnant.
Tsunami had left the pack briefly, but already it seemed that Voila! was carrying quite low, presumably with a large litter. It wouldn't be a surprise if she did, it seemed to have run straight down the line from Wazaam's family. In her mind the wolf counted possible heads, including those of other litters. Damn. She had surely miscalculated because there were a lot more than there were prior.
Heirs with heirs to the throne.
The thought in her head appeared as quickly as it disappeared, leaving her with no time to think on it nor the location to do so. "How far along?" The female questioned quickly, keeping the others slow pace. But now her eyes would glance back to her belly, a thought formulating.

Voila! liked the feeling being pregnant gave her. It made her feel like she was doing something that was really good.. Something that would further the circle of life. She gave a smile, and tried not to blush whenever Tsu looked her over, and her eyes landed on the others large belly.
She knew that none of her pups would inherit the throne, or at least she never thought about it. Inheriting things really wasnt what she wanted with life.. She wanted her children to pick what they did, and not believe themselves to be royalty that she did not feel they were.
She didnt see any of her family as royal.. Though it was nice to know that Grandpa Wazaam was always keeping them safe as the alpha.
"Im not sure.. Any week now I think, they'll try to make their ways into the world. Im rather scared actually."
She admitted, a nervous chuckle from her throat.
"Im not sure how much it will hurt, and Im not sure what to do once it is time."
But she knew if anything, mother would be right next to her, coaching her on.

Soon..... "Within weeks." Startled that it would be so soon Tsunami only breathed the words, in surprise. Of course... She mused to herself silently. What had you expected? A welcome banner? You could not have done anything to stop it....not now either. A heavily pregnant female disappearing only to be found ravished or otherwise destroyed, with her scent all over the body? She was not an idiot.
"Nature will take care of you, Voila. We are made to bear." The female kept the conversation light, though the laugh that accompanied her comment sounded a little dark for the occasion. It was true. Females were given the ability to bear, to form and shape the future generations. Males, though given credit, were nothing more than the seed. The fertile soil of their bellies, like protective caves were what bore greatness. Twist, though intentions pure in at least Tsunami's mind, was not able to cultivate them all to full potential. Her brothers? Fools. Shezaam? The same. Idogbe? A freak, though a powerful one at that.
"When the time comes you will know." Or you will fail, and I will rip your stomach clean to prevent it from happening again. Her nostrils twitched at only the thought of sweet blood. Think of it...The weak carrying the weak. A soft smile graced her muzzle still, nodding almost in rhythm to soothe the expecting female.
