The sun was due to set soon, Kis'erela could tell. Its position in the sky was lowering each moment she stood upon the long, flat top of the particular rock she'd chosen. A rock chosen only for it's stability and smoothness; definitely not it's extraordinarily low-to-the-ground height. Her paws were getting quite tiresome of the uneven grasses, pebbles, and dirt in-laid in the earth, and she had wanted to please them, just this once. Thus, her finding of this particular rock.
And on this rock, she'd stood for quite a bit. Never sitting; merely standing. A practice probably rivaled by her aching paws, but she'd felt sitting down would hamper the juices of her brain, for some reason. Her mind was on that lovely, handsome male she'd met not long ago. He was so charming, and he knew it. She usually wasn't all-for guys like that, with that semi-cocky personality and a superior attitude toward the world. But she hadn't met anyone else like him; and it was strange her mind refused to stop thinking of him.

Chaonaine frown. It was getting late and her paws were aching her. She had travel away from her pride to come back to the land she had use to call home. She wanted to find the flower patch that she love so dearly, but she couldn't remember were it was. She use to go to it everyday when she lived in the rouge land, now it seem like she didn't have time to go. She had walk most of the day trying to find it and didn't have even luck.
She was grumpy because she would have to stay out here even longer then she thought she would have. She wounder if Vol, her mate, was worrying about her. No, she knew he was worrying about it. He was very protective, which surprised her when he said yes, that she could travel alone. She keep stepping on uneven ground and it bug her even more. She knew she had to find somewhere to sleep because her paws were not going to take this for to much longer.

Enraptured in her thoughts and fantasies, Kis'erela almost didn't noticed the sound of gravel, dirt, and grass crunching beneath the paws of another being. Her ears flicked at the soft sound, that was ever-so slowly becoming louder and louder, though not by much. Turning slightly, Kis'erela found she could see a figure looming in the distance out of the corner of her violet eyes.
"Hm," Kis'erela wondered idly to herself who the figure was; and what on earth they were doing traveling alone at this time in the evening. She wasn;t really in the mood for talking, especially if it was a male, but Kis'erela felt compelled to see who it was. Because of this, she quickly leapt gracefully off her rock and began padding, quite quickly, off in the direction of the other creature.

Chaonaine wonder how longer it would be to find something her could lay on comfortably without her having to try. She frown, she hated the thought that she left Vol and wish that she never even ask to come back here. She forgot how it felt to be alone in rocky ground without a lover. She wanted to feel his soft and warm fur next to him. He would rub her paw if they were aching and she would do the same. She keep walking and shook the thought out of her head. It was her fault that she was in this mess, so she couldn't dwell in this thought.
She keep walking until she saw a rather larger shadow in the distance walking to her. Maybe it was Vol, looking for her. She started to run, her head was clouded with the thought of him and she couldn't think of anything else. "Vol! My loving Vol! I knew you would come for me," she said hoping it was him

As they grew closer to one another, Kis'erela could make out the softer body of a female lion. She had a predominantly white and maroon coat, as far as she could tell. She seemed pretty; just as most she'd met were. Kis'erela had opened her mouth to speak when the other seemingly cut her off.
The words the other female spoke were puzzling to Kis'erela, and she quickly slowed to a stop, cocking her head in confusion. Vol? Who or what was a Vol? It was quite obviously puzzling to her, but as the female grew closer she could see that the female looked quite weary. Even though she was running, it was quite obvious the other had been traveling for a while, but why? Was she searching for this Vol character? It was strange to Kis'erela, to even attempt to search for someone in the rogue lands. Pointless, even. "I believe you must have me confused," Kis'erela called out softly to the female, frowning a bit inside, as she knew the other must be quite disappointed by what she'd found.

Oh how Chaonaine, hope that was her love walking towards her. She saw the shadow coming over closer and frown. It wasn't a male's body, but a female's body. The female was mainly gray with just a splash of both purple and white, nothing like her Vol, who was black and orange.
The female must have thought she was nut, to think that she could find someone in the rouge lands. Chao must have been going really nuts if she thought every shadow that was coming her way. She listen to what the female said and it prove it. She must have thought she was nut. "Yes, I do. I'm sorry. I thought you was my mate, she said blushing lightly.
She was not going to go in why he would be looking for her. She didn't need to know everything

"Oh!" Kis'erela giggled lightly and nodded a bit. "Understandable," she said with a small smile, wondering a bit how much she really had in common outwardly with the other's mate. Maybe she had nothing at all the same as the features of the male. Either way, the female looked tired enough for it to be an acceptable mix-up.
Extrending a paw and bowing her head in a polite way she'd once seen a pride lion do, she smile up at the other female. "My name is Kis'erela," she said softly, wondering what the other's name was. Now that she was closer she could make out the exact markings of her coat, as well as their shade, and even the cyan-like color outlining some of the maroon splotches. She had a very interesting coat; much more interesting than Kis'erela's, she presumed.

Chaonaine was glad that the female, didn't think she was crazy. It was just that she was very tried and wanted to see her mate. She nodded her head agreeing with her that it was understandable. She seem like a nice young female with a pretty coat. Chaonaine hope that she wasn't offended that she thought she was a guy, because she did not look like one.
Chao look up as the female held out her hand. She didn't like touching foreign animals but she knew it wouldn't be right after calling her, her mate. She touch her paw and gently shook it. The female had a nice pretty name. "I'm Chaonaine, and it's nice to meet you," she said with a small smile.

Kis'erela found herself pleased when Chaeonaine embraced her paw; it was what she'd seen the two in the pride do, and it made her feel much more civilized than normal, what with her constant wanderings of the rogue lands. This thought brought to Kis'erela ideas of joining a pride; it was something she'd thought of before, but usually dismissed due to her adventurous spirit. But now, she began to rethink it - even thought she knew she didn't have time. Perhaps she would join a pride if she ever found a mate, or wished to have non-nomadic cubs? Those situations made it a possibility, but it was something now she wished to wash from her mind.
"It's nice to meet you, too," she spoke, lacing her compliment with a tad bit of excitement at meeting someone new. It was always an exciting thing to Kis'erela; never more exciting than discovering something new and unusual during her wanderings, but nearly as much so. "Are you a rogue, as I, or do you belong to a pride?" The idea that she may find her mate out in the vastness of the rogue lands could only be the thought of a pridelander, Kis'erela believed, but one could never be sure.

Chaonaine brought her paw back and made awful face. He paws were killing her and she need to go and sit down soon. She smile to cover up her pain and nodded at the female as she was talking. The female was nice, yes, but Chaonaine was just not in the mood to talk. She needed to fine a place to sleep soon and fast, or her paws were going to give out.
She wonder if the female was having this much problems with her paws as she was. She didn't look like it but then again she could be putting up an act like she was. Chaonaine smile and answer her question "Well I'm in a pride now, but I was a rouge. You?" she gently.
Wondering if she was in a pride and was just looking for something like she was.

Kis'erela surveyed Chaonaine carefully, catching the terrible expression her face had contorted herself into, even when it seemed she had wished to cover it up with a kind smile. "Are you alright?" She asked in a soft, gentle inquiring voice, wondering what the expression had been about. She hoped quite sincerely that it hadn't been her attempt at being polite; it had only been a gesture of kindness. At least, that's what she had hoped it to be. She wasn't the type to argue with one, and if the female had been disgusted by her she wasn't sure what she'd do.
"Oh, that's nice! I've always wondered how pride life is. I'm a rogue, of course," she said with another soft smile. Kis'erela yawned wordlessly, blinking her violet eyes softly. "Excuse me," she said blushing a bit, "I'm a tad tired, 'tis all." She hoped Chaonaine didn't view her as impolite for yawning during their talk; she didn't find her boring in the least, and hoped she saw that.

Chaonaine smiled. She knew that the female knew that she was hurting but she didn't want to say anything. She just look always and said "I'm just a little tried. I should just get some soon."
She look up in the sky and saw that the sun had set. She knew it would be getting very dark out very fast. Only the last bright shine of the lasting sun was left. She nodded. She should have knew she was a rouge, she was in the rouge lands after all. She watch as the female yawn and must knew that she was also get tried herself. "Well that means we are both tired then. Well I should get going, I really need some sleep," she said bowing to the female and walking away.
