They weren't there in hopes of diminishing the seemingly endless supply of energy Ilyrosa seemed to have. No, Damon had to do a little questioning with someone and they decided to meet at a bowling alley so the little wrath spawn had something to do other than tear up the house, terrorize the babysitter, or just annoy people in general.
Ilyrosa glanced back at her dad who was talking to someone she didn't wholly trust. He smelled funny, and not the good kind of funny either. Like smoke and blood, plus something else she hadn't a clue as to what. Damon seemed to have these same suspicions and acted like he was going to eat the other...
She shook her head, grabbing the bright blue bowling ball as it rolled around and stopped next to a lime green one. "Hmpf, dis is boring," she muttered, rolling it as fast as she could down the alley in hopes of actually hitting the pins and knocking them down.

Another little family arrived very soon after. It was three teenage girls - each more odd and sparkly than the last - and three little...erm...boys. Well, two of them were obviously boys, but the third wasn't. One had spiky purple hair, pointy ears and a tail. The second had long silver hair, pointy ears and a tail. The third, which was the tallest for some reason, had black hair with rainbow tips, and funny rainbow tentacles protruding from his sides.
The girls suited the little ones with their bowling shoes and nudged them over to pick a ball. The rainbowy boy had spotted the lime green ball, it seems and headed over. "S'cuse me, are you usinnat ball?" he inquired of Ily, pointing at the green one.

Ilyrosa blinked at the massive, insanely odd family. Each and every single one looked even more unusual than the last, with no features the same amongst them, besides tails and pointy ears. As the boy with the strange rainbow octopus legs sticking out of his sides walked over, her eyes instantly narrowed out of curiosity.
"Nope. Wanna... uh... bowl wiff me?" she asked slowly, glancing over to her father over by the bar on the other side of the alley as if hoping he was watching. Course, he wasn't and so her gaze returned to the strange kid in front of her, waiting for his response.

Steve looked back at his family when she asked. His mothers were busy helping his brothers put on their shoes. And they honestly wouldn't be ready for a while. Turning back, he shrugged, picking up the ball he'd liked. "Sure, for a bit I guess."
He smiled a bit then. "Do you know how to? I don't."

Ilyrosa grinned and wandered to the game machine thing and poked a few buttons that her dad had told her to push when she wanted to add people into the game. For a name, she just pressed a few random letters like she had for her own name. "Well... Yew got'ta roll deh ball down deh... uh... got'ta hit teh white things," she explained, pointing at the pins at the end of the lane and using her small amount of knowledge as best as she could to explain it.
Damon had explained the game earlier, but she hadn't exactly payed much attention outside of what she absolutely had to do. Specifics were lost especially when she saw the bright blue bowling ball and learned that the object of the game was to knock over the bright white things at the end. If she could, she would have just ran down there and kicked it over.
"I Iwywosa. Wha's yews name?" she asked, tilting her head curiously.

"M'Steve." the boy commented, letting his tentacles lift and investigate the bowling ball. He had to hold it with boy hands by himself but Boris and Natasha could each hold it easily. "I'ma see if Boris can do it." he said, helping the tentacle slip into the funny hole so it didn't knock its eyes off.
The tip went in and poked out another hole, the boy running forward a bit and letting the appendage swing the object. It didn't retract fast enough, however, and he ended up tripping and falling over on the ball. "Wow, that was silly." he laughed.

Ilyrosa watched him and the strange purple snake-things curiously, tail flicking back and forth. As Steve fell she couldn't help but laugh, finding the whole situation amusing. Perhaps she should tie the two appendages together and see what happened. It was an amusing thought, to say the least.
"Gotta let go faster t' make it go," she commented with grin. Zipping over, like the little speed demon her daddy said she was, the little wrath spawn watched him curiously. "Yew ok?" she asked, trying to remember a little bit of the manners Damon had tried to teach her.

"Yeah. But these things is uncomfy to lay on." the tot commented, standing up and rubbing his tummy before using Boris and Natasha to help him pick the ball back up. He used his hands but it was too heavy to do alone and they helped a bit.
"Your turn." he said, waiting behind the line and smiling at her.

Ilyrosa grinned and nodded, shuffling over to the alley and setting the ball down gently before shoving it as hard as she could in the direction of the pins. The ball jerked and rolled down the alley, managing to tap one of the pins and knock it over before rolling into the gutter and into the back.
"Whoo! I gowt one!" she cried, zooming over to where the ball return was, eagerly waiting for her bowling ball to return. "Uh... I tink I go 'gain... Don' wemembewr..." she commented, scowling angrily at that as if it had personally wronged her.

"Mmk." Steve agreed. He watched some of the other people around as they made their moves, trying to pick up on some technique but also just curious about who was around.
There were new people here and he just wanted to see what kind did this. There was a team of old ladies playing, their titters over who did and didn't strike out audible from across the room. The boy smiled a bit, amused and happy to see he and Ily weren't the only ones who had trouble. Most of the women had to be careful not to break their hips or had trouble lifting the heavy bowling balls and he could understand that, at least a bit.
The boy's attention returned to his companion as she waited for her ball. "Do you need mines?" he offered.

Ilyrosa shook her head, grinning as her ball came to a rolling stop from the machine thingy. It was like a magical portal! It HAD to be! "Nu-uh. Portal thingy spits it owt afta a wittle wile," she replied, tottering over to the lane again and repeating what she had done before, if not shoving it a little harder.
"Oof. Ball heavy," the girl muttered as she fell after shoving it. Unfortunately, all it did was roll off to the side and gently roll to the other end. "Darn. Yew's turn," she giggled, standing up and brushing the dirt from her clothes.

Steve shrugged and wandered forward, trying again to roll the thing. This time, he used his hands and did the the way the ladies were doing it. The ball rolled farther this time and eventually hit some pins, knocking them down.
"Do I go again?"

Ilyrosa grinned and clapped her hands. "Yay! An' yah, yew do," she replied, bouncing a bit and wondering just how he managed to bowl like the others.
Grabbing her ball once more, she toddled back to Steve, watching him and trying to mimic how he threw the ball down the lane while he did so.

"There's oldie ladies down there." Steve said after a bit, rolling again to knock down a few more pins. "They roll funny so I just did what they did." It wasn't hard to notice why she was watching him. He'd had to watch to learn it too, after all.

"Old people are weird," Ily agreed, waiting for the pins to reset before standing where Steve had. Mimicking him and this time releasing it in a way that caused her to take a couple steps past the line and fall backwards as the ball went flying down the alley.
"Oof! HEY! It work'd!" she gasped, watching most of the pins fall over. A personal best even if it didn't count because she stepped across the line and the ball stuck in the middle of where the pins were previously. Slowly standing due to the slick floor, she toddled back to grab her ball again. "Hm... Yanno dere's a awrcade nearby?" she asked curiously. The bowling wasn't really helping her boredom and need for constant movement.
