Lifting his head, a crimson coyote gazed around. This was where he was living currently, although for how long he didn't know. The male was laying near the entrance to his home. This was one of the few places where he could have peace and didn't have to deal with others. Why was this place so isolated, he didn't know. After getting up, Raush crossed the small distance to lap up some of the refreshing water. It flowed from the mountains and traveled a ways before coming down the waterfall, but it tasted as if it were right at the base of the mountain. As he thought of it, he realized that the waterfall's spray had soaked his fur completely. This he didn't care about much, but he gave his coat a good shaking before returning to his previous spot to soak up some sun.

Morge woke up due to the glaring sun that was in his face. Why did the damned sun have to be so bright? Couldn't it let a coyote get some sleep once in awhile? Okay, sure it went away for a couple of hours, but that still wasn't enough. It should go away for days and leave him alone. He liked his sleep. Liked it a whole lot. To bad the sun didn't like to let him sleep.
The black coyote got up and shook off all the leaves that had happened to fall on his fur and wandered around, still waking up. It took him awhile to actually get fully awake and able to function. Not being fully awake made him more irritable, and the more irritable he was, the more he didn't care to much for others. Even if they didn't do anything wrong and were just laying there.
Morge glared at the other coyote, upset and now angry. That coyote was in his favorite spot to relax. He was in his territory. The punk needed to be taught a lesson or two. With that in mind, the black coyote walked stiffly over to the crimson coyote. Not happy one bit.

Raush sighed contentedly, relishing in the feeling of his fur drying and warming. This kept him well insulated and was comfortable to him. It set him apart from most coyotes, this love of the sun. Although he was mainly nocturnal, hunting and wandering at night, he couldn't stand the chill air that settled when the sun set.
Blinking his eyes open, Raush glanced in the direction from which a sound had come. Another coyote. Just as he had thought. The footfalls sounded familiar. Rising himself into a sitting position, he studied the other predator. It was a jet black male with a patch of dark ang pale gray on his back. Dark eyes were flashing as he approached.
So he isn't happy. Woopty Doo. Raush thought grimly. Although he had just been fine a moment ago, his mood fell. Shifting slightly, he waited to see what this other male wanted.
