Darian had done so much to prepare. He picked out the perfect place to eat, he got all the supplies. Everything he had ever seen in movies or heard from other cats, he had attempted to do in Hemera's honor. He could only pray now that she would enjoy it. He was speed walking towards Nyanman Mansion. The destination where he had agreed with that wonderful black beauty. The romantic little Highland Lynx finally reached his destination, but he just so happened to be ten minutes to early. He wasn't aware of this though, since he didn't carry a watch on him, all he could do was sit by this here gate. He in no way what so ever wanted to confront the guards or especially her father. When was she going to come out? How much longer would it take? He sighed and started to fumble with the hem of his clothes, wanting nothing more than this anxious feeling to end. What if she blew him off? He looked up at the starry night sky and took in a deep inhale, in attempts to calm himself. "Please, oh please... Don't let her back out on me..."

Hemera attempted to fix her hair, not that it needed much fixing since it was so long and straight but she was nervous and wanted everything to be perfect. She had even begged her older sister to give her a hand getting ready. She would have asked Athena but she was out. Nyx brushed her sisters long hair carefully and followed by fixing her make-up for her. Hemera then looked at her watch and her stomach fluttered nervously. She got up and fixed her dress again a little uncomfortably. She wasn't used to wearing these sort of clothes, though she had always wanted to. Nyx had gone shopping with her to pick out the perfect outfit and they had decided on this gothic lolita number. It suited her perfectly, with her long black and red hair flowing behind her as she waved goodbye to Nyx, reminding her not to tell their father where she was gone before running outside and through the mansion before getting to the front gates, seeing Darian waiting there. Her heart skipped a beat as she walked over to him, tapping him on the should. "Um...hi!" she said awkwardly, blushing slightly. She had been so excited about this date that she didn't know what to say to him now. "I...I hope you weren't waiting long." (( The outfit she's wearing! <3 ))

As footsteps came padding his way he widened his eyes and tore his stare from the black and blue hued sky. When his eyes finally fell upon the gorgeous girl he would be escorting around his heart skipped a beat. How in hell did he managed to convince her of going on a date with him. He hadn't even dressed up like she had, even though his clothes weren't that embarrassing. Just his white long sleeve shirt with his vest over it neato. Denim jeans with his studded belt. The usual rockstar look, but felt as though it should have been different, since she got so dressed up for this. He smiled at her none the less, hiding his embarrassment, "You look amazing, Hemmy. Man, that dress... it really fits you well. I looove it. Did they have one my size?" He joked around, approaching her finally and trying to check the tag in the back. "Hehe, so, did you want to eat right away, cause I kinda have a little list of surprises for you..." He blushed and couldn't help but want to do them all at once, but that was impossible.

Hemera giggled, blushing brightly. "Thank you Dare..even though I told my sister that it would probably be to dressy so wouldn't let me not buy it. She said it would be a shame if I didn't" she explained blushing. "You look really...handsome though. And I dunno we could always go back and have a look if you like." she said with a giggle and a grin. She couldn't help but laugh when she was with him. He made her heart and head all light and fluttery and made her want to laugh often. She looked at him with a nervous smile. "Whatever you have planned lets go with the way you scheduled it? That way it will be a bit easier on the both of us. Unless you want to eat now...I don't mind." she said, her voice soft but happy. She make sure not to hide her excitement for the night ahead. She probably wouldn't have been able to hide it anyway. It was her first date after all and with how sweet Darian was she couldn't help but be excited with what was planned.

Darian was totally in love with that smile. She truly was a gorgeous girl, unbelievable in every way. "Heh, well then, we'll go clothes shopping tomorrow or some other time. For now, I think I wanna show you how I set up dinner. I worked my tail off to make it good. Hehe, can you tell?" He turned around and wiggled his nub of a tail at her, the fluffy fur around it shaking. With the compliment on how handsome he looked he couldn't help but blush. He didn't really try his hardest to look nice and that just might be the reason he thought that meant so much. He didn't have to try and look handsome for her. She thought he was anyway, and that made him blush. "Hehe, come on, I think you'll like it." He quickly swooped in a dramatic fashion to stand beside her before linking arms with the girl. "This way, m'lady." He said in a snobbish british accent, completely fake of course. He began to escort her toward the more busy section of town where the rooftops were higher and the lights were brighter.

Hemera giggled. "Yes we must spend the day shopping to make sure we can find the perfect dress for you. I can't wait to see what you've done. I hope setting it up has been worthe the loss of your tail!" she exclaimed with a laugh. Of course she was just playing along with him but she was having a lot of fun doing so. She usually didn't find jokes other cats made that funny and her own humour was usually so deadpan a lot of cats thought it didn't even exist. She took his arm and walked along with him, her big amber eyes taking in the sights of a busy glowing town she had never seen at night. It excited her even more to be in town so late. Her father had never really let her go out this late before and the timid thing was rather afraid of the dark so never disobeyed him. Now she could see that it really wasn't anything to be afraid of, the town was just as bright by night as by day and more beautiful. "I can't wait to see what you've done. I really hope you're not going to too much trouble." she said flushing slightly.

The obvious humor in her voice sent Darian's butterflies on a rampage as they fluttered around violently in his stomach. He was so grateful that not only was she a goddess of beauty and manners but she knew how to take a joke. Some of the girls he's talked to often find his sense of humor idiotic or lame. Being able to bring a smile to her beautiful face was really lighting up his soul, though. When she actually was linking arms with him, his mind couldn't help but focus on each and every sensation that came with the contact. They way he could feel her warmth through his sleeves, the way that she moved and tugged on his arm whenever their steps fell out of sync with each other. Everything was so hard to ignore.
When the lovely young thing spoke up his eyes were brought to her expression. She seemed dazzled and amazed. Had she never been outside at night before or something? In Darian's opinion, being out this late in this certain part of town was the best! Everything was so active, and the lights were sparkling like mini suns, making sure to never leave a shadow. The words she said thought were what he should be focusing on though. "Oh, no no. Don't you worry about it, Hemmy! It'll all be worth it to see your face light up." He really meant that. Seeing her happy would make him wanna dance on his tippy toes. Finally, the Lynx tom brought her to the side of a building, where a fire escape was hanging. "I hope you can manage a bit of climbing in that pretty little dress of yours." He smirked at her before leaping up and latching onto the ladder, beginning his climb to the roof top.

Hemera couldn't help but be charmed by the boy beside him. Her family was quite serious, with Phosphor the troublemaker and jokester in the family but she often found him very tiring and not that amusing at all. On the otherhand she found all the Darians jokes very funny, even ones she was sure she wouldn't have found amusing if it had been anyone else saying them. But when Darian would say it she wouldn't be able to stop laughing and Hemera wasn't sure why this was. She enjoyed this males company far more then most other cats, including her family. This continued to surprise her as she rarely found cats that she could get along with so easiely, that she found so enjoyable to be around. She usually found other cats company tiring and stressful but Darian, while she was nervous to be with him, she enjoyed being around him and that's what was something.
She looked up at the ladder with a happy expression on her face. "Just aslong as you go ahead of me I'll be perfectly fine. I don't want someone to be looking up my skirt!" she said with a giggle. She was very excited to see what he had planned and climbed up the ladder quickly behind him, her heart racing with excitement.

When she mentioned how she didn't want anybody looking up her skirt he felt his cheeks blushing furiously. "Woah woah woah. Hey now, Hemmy. I'm no pervert. Hah, I have more class than that, don't you think?" He chuckled as he climbed higher, trying to pass of his nervous silence as him trying to work hard to climb up the ladder. Once he had reached the top of the building he looked over the edge, waiting for her to reach the top. He took her hands and helped her mount over the edge and onto the solid rooftop. "I really hope you're not afraid of heights." He told her with a chuckle and lead her over to the very edge of the roof to a box with a rag laid over it like a tablecloth. As chairs he had found discarded beanie babies, but to them tonight, they'd be bean bag chairs. "Heh, would you like to sit on the hippo or the piggy?" He asked her politely, with a grin upon his face, clearly amused by the question.

Hemera giggled, flushing slightly. "I was only joking with you Dare. Of course you have more class then that." she said with a nod and a giggle, but slightly upset at herself for making him feel embaressed. She laughed when he mentioned heights. "If I were afraid of heights I probably wouldn't have started climbing the ladder in the first place, silly." she said with a happy giggle. She liked how he seemed so concerned about all the little things about her. It made the female feel special. She took his hand greatfully and pulled herself up onto the rooftop, looking down below in fasination. "I don't believe that I've ever been this high before in my life." she said quietly, looking below at the lights in fasination before letting him lead her over to what could only be described as the cutest little table. She giggled and thought for a second. "I think I'll go with the hippo!" she said with a wide grin, looking around her and then back a Dare. "It's really beautiful up here. Thank you for this."

When she confirmed her belief that he definitely had more class than looking up girls shirts he beamed with happiness. Yay! At least he was pulling off the impression that he wasn't a total sex fiend or something. Which it wasn't. When the lovely female stated that this was the highest she had ever been he felt a sense of pride. He was the first one to take her up on a rooftop? Hopefully she would remember that and keep it as a grand memory. He already knew he would. "Heh, well I'm a lucky man, then. Being the first to get you on top of the world. It really is gorgeous," his luminous aqua eyes scanned the city below. He made his way back to the table when Hemera did, though. When she picked the hippo Darian more than happily let himself flop onto the pigs back. "Heh, alrighty then~ I guess I should probably get the meal." He lifted his side of the box and pulled out another little box, but this was for take out. He kept it under the table to try and keep it warm. When she thanked him already he chuckled and gave her a happy little smirk, "The night is just beginning Hemmy. No need to thank me, unless you want me to constantly thank you for gracing me with your presence." He set the white box on the table and popped the lid open. Inside was Chinese food and a few plastic forks, human size. "Heh, um... those look a little bit big to use..." He felt embarrassed for not thinking about utensils. "Are you afraid to use your hands?"

Hemera couldn't help but smile when he answered, her face flushing all the same. He made her nervous, in a good way of course and this make her smile for some reason. She blushed and whispered quietly "I've been on top of the world before. You've made me feel on top of the world since I first met you." She said this so quietly, her face flushing very brightly as she spoke. She couldn't help saying it, no matter how embarrassing it was say. She was one to tell the truth and this was how she felt, how she had been feeling ever since she had met the boy standing beside her now. She glanced as his face as he looked over the city and her heart skipped a beat. At the table she grinned. "Okay then I wont that you till the end then." she said with a smile, her cheeks still flushed. "As for gracing you with my presence, I am hardly doing so." she added with a nervous nod. After all she was more then delighted to go, to spend more time with him. It made her happy beyond all reason.
She watched him with curiosity as he took out the little boxes from inside the big box. That meant that they weren't having something he caught, which made Hemera very happy. She didn't enjoy caught food all that much. It had always made her feel very guilty. Her eyes widened when she saw the take out. She had never seen or tasted it before. She looked excited. "What is this? It smells so good." she exclaimed. She then shook her head. "I'm perfectly happy using my hands." she said with a grin.

Little Hemera was being so polite, and a complete sweetheart. Darian didn't expect any less from her though. He knew she was a kind hearted girl to begin with. That's why he asked her out on this lovely date. So that they could try to bond together even more so. Her comment about being on top of the world since the first moment she saw him caused his stomach to twist up in knots. Not in a bad way, but in the sort of way where you'd giggle from the sensation. "Awww, Hemmy." He tried not to giggle though. That would look strange.
After they had taken their seats and Darian had shown her the food he chuckled softly at her question. "Well, it's Chinese you silly goose. You've never had Chinese before? It's super dooper good! Like, excellent!" He gave her an O.K. sign with his hand and wink at her all goofy. At least she wasn't afraid to use her hands, that would have probably ruined the whole dinner if she was. "Well, then, I guess we can dig in!" He reached out and took a piece of orange chicken, nibbling on it contently. The box was set up in the center so that it was easy for both of them to access.

Hemera blushed at his reply to her comment, her face already flushed before. She didn't know what had brought her to say it in the first place. After all it was embarrassing beyond all thinking to actually be saying something like that out loud, especially to a boy that she didn't even know that well. But at the same time she was happy she had said it. It made her stomach flutter being around him and she atleast wanted him to know that she cared about him so much already.
Hemera shook her head, her black hair flowing around her face as she did. "No I've never tried chinese food before. I've always eaten food that my parents caught for me. Never something like this." she exclaimed happily. The food really did smell fantastic and Hemera did love trying new things so this was all very exciting to her. Hemera then carefully picked up a piece of the chicken as gracefully as she could while using her hands. She bit into it and a happy smile formed on her face. "Wow...this is amazing Darian!" she exclaimed.

The way she seemed so nervous yet happy confused the boy. Dare didn't know whether to bring it up and try to relax her, or let her keep smiling. She wasn't the only one with a mixture of feelings though. Just being around lovely little Hemera he felt his entire body tensed up, and he usually wasn't like this around people. In fact, he couldn't remember the last time he was like this around anybody. Maybe it was a good thing, maybe it wasn't, but he knew for a fact that he liked it.
The Highland Lynx took the food up into his mouth and began to gnaw on it again, enjoying the intense flavor of the sauce spread all over the fantastic meat. Chicken was one of his favorite foods. When she took a bite and expressed her rather loud excitement about the food he couldn't help but laugh, pulling his own chicken away from his mouth. "Hah, isn't it?! I love eating human food. It's far far better than anything else!" He gave a positive nod and continued eating. After their feast he had planned to take her out shopping. He was excited about this idea, because then he could give her whatever she wanted. Whatever made her smile that beautiful white smile of hers that Dare loved so much. After eating his fill he sat back a little bit more on his piggy beanie baby and smiled at her brightly, feeling like conversation was needed. "I'm really glad we're going on this date... you're like, the coolest girl I've ever met." He meant this. No other girl had this sort of affect on it and he was positive it was because she was so gosh darn amazing.
