Stargazers
Stargazers are the heart of the clan; their personality affects how the clan operates and how their protectors treat one another and the world around them. It is up to the Stargazers to set a good example and guide their clanmates along the path of the protector code. They are responsible for calling clan meetings, appointing protectors, and younglings, and deciding the policy and strategy with the help of the other Stargazers
When the Stargazer's Netx becomes Stargazer he or she must travel to the clan's sacred place to meet with The Past. The must come alone or The Past will not speak to them. When The Past speaks to the new Stargazer they grant them 8 extra lives, a new anme that ends in "gazer",a dn a much deeper spiritual connection with them.
The process can seem very short or very long and can be very painful. If the cat backs out when reciving one of the gifts The past dispear and the cat must try again the next night. The cats that give the new Stargazer his or her gifts are normally cats thta made a difference in that cat's life.
When a Stargazer loses a life, he or she blacks out for a short period of time, during which that cat visits The Passt and speaks with its ancestors. On returning to consciousness, the Stargazer must still recover from the injury or illness that felled him or her. The clan's other Stargazerss and the Healer can usually tell how many lives a Stargazer has left, although the number is kept secret from rival clans
Stargazer's Next
Healer: "Cats of the clan! The Past has sent me a message. They have said it is time for (Stargazer's name) to take on an youngling. The Past has stated that (Youngling's name) will become Stargazer's Next of (Clan's name)."
Stargazer's Next stand shoulder to shoulder with Stargazer and they intwin their tails.
Healer
Stargazer 1: "The Past I ask you to look down on (past Healer). He or she ahs served his or her clan for moons and now he or she ahs finally joined you. Theri apprneitce (Healer's next name) shall take their place as Healer of (Clan's name). (Cat's name) do you promise to heal the clan the best you can?
New Healer: "I do."
Stargazer 2: "Then, from this day on you shall be the offical Healer of (Clan's name)"
Stargazer 3: "The Past and your clan welcomes you as (Clan's name) Healer.
All Stargazers and new Healer stand by bodyu of the old Healer and one of the Stargazers takes a piec eof the old healers fur and placed it on the new Healer.
Healer's Next
Healer: "Cats of the clan I have decided i is time I take on a youngling. I have chosne that (Youngling's Name) will become the Healer's next!"
Healer's Next dips head to the Healer and Healer licks the top.
Protector
Stargazer 1: "(Cat(s) name) you have survived the half moon on your own and have come bakc alive. It is time you become a Protector. But firts you must take the sacred oath."
Stargazer 2: "Do you promise to serve your clan adn us Stargazers until the dya you die?"
New Protector(s): "I do"
Stargazer 3: "Do you give your life to The Past s you may join them when your life has pasted?'
New Protector(s): "I do"
Stargazer 1: "Then I ask the thge past to look down on this(these) cat(s). They have survived alone for half a moon adn are now joining the clan again as protectors."
Stargazers touches noses with each new protector.
Youngling
Stargazer 1: "The Past has sent a sign to me! It is time for (Mother's name) litter to begin their training."
Stagazer 2: "(Mother's name) we know you will do a good job at training your kits."
Stargazer 3: 'We look forward to watching the younglings grow up to be protectors."
Each Stargazer lickes the new younglings' right ear.
Elder
Stargazer 1: "(cat's name) you have served (clan's name) for many moons. I now ask The Past to grant you the rest of your life as an Elder."
Stargazer 2: "The Past, (Cat's name) has protected the clan his opr her whole life. I ask you to allow them to join the others in the Elder den."
Stargazer 3: "I too ask you to allow (Cat's name) to join the elders for the rets of their life."
The trees will shake and if a brown leaf falls to the groudn the cat may become an elder, if a green leaf falls the cat must stay either a protector or mother.
