Im just going to assume that most of you have seen the picture showing how the christian dark ages drasticlly effected our technology. And I was thinking, What kind of technology would we have if that never happened. Personaly, I think we would have nano-bots that attach to our central nervous systm that can tell us what time it is.
What kind of stuff do you think we would have had?
(Bonus question) How many people do you know think that Emerica was founded soley as a christian nation?

I think we'd have the cures for AIDS and some cancers. I also think we'd have found a way to move faster than light (they only recently discovered faster than light travel for particles).

Labyrinthknight7 (they only recently discovered faster than light travel for particles). We've known about entanglement for quite a while... As for what we'd know, I think we'd have blasted ourselves back to the tribal ages with nuclear weapons. EDIT: Actually, since in a modern society more people are coming in contact with more people, I think the plague would've set us back more than the dark ages.

Well, I survived general relativity. I haven't taken a class that goes beyond that, though.

Ah, but you see, it's not possible to transmit information using entanglement smile If you entangle two photons, for example, you can influence the other by changing the first one. But, these photons are already doing so much random stuff all the time, that it's impossible for the "receiver" of the information to separate the changes you make to the first photon from the random noise.

Even if the information can't be calculated its still information... EDIT: and its faster than light.
