After much deliberation Alice decided to admit Bae into the university, he did seem to have much of his fathers talent after all, but his girlfriend... she was a perfect candidate for a live in, as apprehensive as Alice was to admitting her considering how young she and Bae were to be considered... well mates.
But she brushed away her worries for this call back, being the head mistress of the university and hiding away her 'auntie alice' behind the facade. She wouldn't be easy on Bae just because she had raised him, though she would understand if he felt pressured.
His girlfriends admittance depended on him as well. She wanted to be a defender, to learn all of the things the school has to offer, well she had to be admitted as a live-in to someone in the University, just like Dhiren was to Alice.But the somali had faith, Bae was a good kid, though he hid that well. He would be able to do whatever he wanted, she just hoped he was prepared to take it.

SunBae didn't want anyone to go easy on him. Just because he was blind didn't mean he couldn't do just about everything anyone with perfect sight could. Ione had long since shown him that--and he wouldn't take that 'too young to have a mate' bullshit either.
Which is why he had strayed from his parents to come here...it was just across the way, and he could still live in the Ruins, but he wanted some kind of independence from his over-protective fathers and his overly-worried mother. His siblings all still clung to mommy and daddies like they were lifelines...which irked him more than being coddled because he couldn't see.
So, he made his way along his mental mapping of the University, only needing to touch a wall every now and again when he wasn't 100% sure where he was.
Hopefully sooner rather than later he'd run into Ione or Alice...there were so many damn scents around here it confused him. But he found the designated area that Alice had given him...and now he waited, partially hoping that he was in the right spot...or else he'd feel stupid.

Ione headed through the outskirts of the trees, making her familiar way out of the forest to the Ruins and the University beyond that. She moved quickly, though she herself enough time to get there on time if she walked. She was hoping to see Bae before his audition, if only for a quick hug. She wasn’t that disappointed that she hadn’t been called back to be part of the University proper; she had mostly applied because it was the territory Bae had chosen and she hadn’t made up her mind yet. She wanted to be able to protect whatever territory she was a part of and continue training to fight wherever she was, with whoever could teach her, and if she could to that at the University, well that worked out just fine.
Moving briefly through the edge of the Ruins territory, she made her way into the university itself, passing a group of students smoking and talking quietly outside of a building. She huffed slightly, trying to get the unpleasant odor out of her nose. She hadn’t seen Bae yet and the greenhouse was within view, so she figured she’d meet him there. Making her way under the gate, she moved around the plants; the koi pond and a very familiar tom coming into view. She smiled softly, padding quietly over to him.

Alice shook her head and entered through another entrance to the koi pond, observing the kittens and settled down into her bench, setting her folder and pen to one side and crossing her legs. Just to observe, a small smile on her lips. She needed to remember that she and Dhiren had been around that age as well when they became mates. She couldn't really talk, though it felt weird... she felt old, dated when she thought that. ... oh god, she did the whole 'you will understand when your older' thing in her head.
Lightly Alice touched the bulge of her stomach, it wasn't huge, but still. It was very there. Her miracles. Alice ran a hand through her hair once more, then gave a mock cough, so that the two would know that she was waiting.
"so are we ready to begin yet?"

Alice had always been there for him when he didn't have anyone else to go to--when JiYong disappeared and he didn't want anything to do with Tempo, he went here with Dhiren and Alice, so he should feel perfectly comfortable being around here.
But he didn't. How odd. Looking up when he heard someone move, he turned his head to look to Ione, taking a moment to recognize her he smirked afterwards, her scent and 'silent' steps reaching him. When she got close enough he swiveled his ears towards Alice, who he realized was there before Ione had reached him, and gave her a light nuzzle to her temple.
Not all relationships had to end badly if they started young. JiYong and Tempo had been together since kittens and they were still together..and he saw other cats together all the time, including his brother who was with a cat considerably older than him at this point. But whatever. Chuckling slightly at Alice's cough, he turned to face the woman, taking hold of Ione's wrist before sliding his fingers down to intertwine with her own, "Whenever you're ready, Alice."
