History: Tala's parents were both Runner Handlers, who own a small but prosperous farm on the outskirts of the Weyr. Growing up, she was fascinated by the runners her family trained and worked with. She would spend every bit of time outside running around in the corrals with the animals. She grew to know and understand the animals in only the way that people who devote their life to them do. When she was old enough she opted for an apprenticeship in Beastcraft and followed in her parents footsteps. She loved the physical labor and demanding nature of the job and excelled at every task. Her only gripe was dealing with other candidates who just didn't seem to understand the lessons.
During an outing with other apprentices, they came into town to find a Search rider. Tala wanted to head back to the stables to tend to a runner that was not doing well but as she turned to head back, a large nose loomed in front of her. She stopped dead and looked up into the eye of the dragon of the Search Rider. She nodded to the dragon in courtesy and tried to step around it but was stopped by the dragon shifting that way as well. She huffed and turned back around to see the Search rider laughing to himself. Seeing her turn around he sobered up and shruged his apologies to her. After discussing the decision with her family it was decided that becoming a candidate would be much better than continuing her training as a Runner Handler. Resigned to leave her training but thrilled at the opportunity to become a Dragonrider she left with the Search rider for Telgar. Her first ride was a chaotic jumble of emotions for her. She had never been that high before and the trip between made her anxious at first but as she thought about it more and more...this was just the beginning of a great adventure.
Appearance: Tala is a short but well built young woman who seemed to mature physically early. Standing at five foot flat she is well proportioned for being so short. Her muscles are well defined from working with in the beastcraft. Being as she worked and stayed outside so much her skin has a nice healthy tan to it. Her hair is a very light brown with blonde mixed into the color giving it a nice bright color in the summer months and darkening in the winter months. Her hair is cut just below her shoulders and has a light wave to it. Her eyes are a soft hazel color with brown around the iris and a light green ringing that.
Personality: Being as she spent much of her time around animals she doesn't much like the company of other people. She is generally a jovial person and jokes around with everyone but mostly prefers the company of animals or solitude to large groups of people. Once she gets to know someone and they her she opens up and will do anything for those that she considers friends. Her friends are her family and she is the type of person to go above and beyond and not expect anything but a thanks in return. Impatient with people who she thinks are slow, she works on being a caring person and is very empathetic and tries to be a good listener. Slow to anger but she has a violent temper once pushed over the edge. Tala is always one to follow orders but never hesitates to take initiative when everything goes to hell in a hand basket. She works relatively well in groups but prefers to work on her own. When in charge she expects perfection and becomes aggravated when those under her don't match up to her standards. But because she doesn't like being angry or cross with people she tries to stay out of positions of power and let others run the show. Tala is a perfectionist and impatient therefore she prefers to do things herself. She is a firm believer in "If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself." When she herself does not get something quickly she becomes agitated and angry with herself, pushing herself even harder to achieve perfection.

Looking good! I like her history. x3
I just need you to expand the personality a bit so that we have more to work with if we were considering her as a candidate. Tell me about how she reacts to authority (does she want to be the boss? Does she do whatever someone in a position of power says?), how she works in groups/any teamwork related personality traits, and anything you think would make her stand out against any other candidate.
I also need to see two very distinct character flaws.
Everything else looks good though! I look forward to accepting her.

The two flaws for her are the fact that she is a perfectionist and can't stand people who don't understand things the first time around.
