Game Information & Starting Requirements. This will be played under the D&D 3.5 rules. No godmodding. Please submit your character sheets to me via pm ahead of time. That way we won't have an entire party of drow clerics which doesn't allow much story variation. It will be in Faerun. I'm still developing this, so work with me. Location - Menzoberranzan Starting ECL - 10 Race - Drow Hitpoints - Roll or Average (Your Choice) Starting Gold - 49,000 Gold Point Buy - 32 Points No retarded magical weapons. Such as +5 greatmighty cleaving keen flaming vorpal longsword. PM all character sheets to the DM when ready.* Good sites to use for your sheets if you're unaware are Mythweavers, or The TangledWeb. Quoted from Page 3 The NPC sheets are done, the back story is that you are pristesses of Lolth or male wizards or fighters, depending on your preferences, and youre experienced at combat and in the field problem solving due to years as novices defending your homes against rival drow houses, goblin raids and prisoner taking experiences, battles against gnomes and duergar, the time spent in the schools of battle or wizardry. You will also have working knowledge of the atmosphere of the underdark, and enemies such as displacer beasts. We should be able to start immediately. The rules are a work in progress. Expect to spend a lot of time not in the drow cities as one of the guard patrols, expect fights with driders, expect Lolth to be a b***h.

What I mean by this is that I'd very much like to play, but I am currently not aware of what character information I'll be using, as in, starting levels, gold, available races, and what not.
Any predetermined storyline and such like that I should model my character over.
I am sort of opposed to playing evil characters, and or even drow... but if need be, I would bend my desires to fit the game.
So I am in dire need of this information so that I can play.
However, as it seems now there is only me interested to my knowledge.
I've been lazy, will go grab guild signature and advertise a bit I guess.

Yeah, i would really like to do this too, but as Insanity Logic said, a little more information and possibly a little plotline thingie would really be helpful.

I am trying to think of alternative good races that will not get me killed whilist in the underdark.
I am sort of opposed to playing a good drow ><
Though it looks like I'll have to bend myself to the will of neutral or evil characters.

So I've been talking to people, and although I haven't had much time today to recruit for the guild.
I found us another player for this campaign.
Also, may I take it by your comment about us being a guard patrol that we're all required to be drow?
Could you please give us a list of the available races (I will play drow if need be)
So how many players are you looking for to get this game started?
Also, when do you think we could start?
Do desire any help in getting things prepped?

Or should I just roll up a Chaotic Good Drow Ranger who specializes in dual-wielding?

Questions:
Starting level... is that Drow + 10 class levels, or ECL 10?
Background for the game would be nice. Are we good Drow aka Drizzt *Shudder*, or are we being typical evil temporary alliances that inevitably turn into backstabbing death drow? Or is there something else?
Are you using the rules from the FR Underdark book for Faerzress, Earth Nodes and Node Magic?
Which books are allowed/not allowed for use in character creation?
How do you want stats generated? Point Buy or Rolls?
Just a comment on the starting gold, since you're using the Pathfinder list... 3.5 DMG lists 10th level as 49,000 gp and 12th level as 88,000 gp. Not complaining about the amount you're giving, just thought I'd provide information. It's from pg 135 of the DMG.
