Tybalt wondered how often they cleaned the hundreds of multi-coloured spheres that made up the toddler land ball pit. Gods knew there had to be a million germ on the things and yet.. the redhead figured Sandy was as likely to catch something from just being out with other children than by being in the pit. The tawny haired toddler wasn't the sort to put their fingers or tentacles in their mouth so contamination that way wasn't much of an issue.

"Have fun okay, and just call for me when you get bored, I'll be right over there." The young man gestured to the bench he'd been sitting on near the netted in pit. Both parent and child could see and easily here each other if a problem arose.

Sandy gave a small nod and moment later the spawn was flowering in a sea of balls unable to keep their balance as they sunk down into the pit. Green eyed widened in surprise and Alpha, Omega, Delta and Epsilon all flailed briefly trying to push the offending balls away. Still Sandy wasn't terrified so much as confused and unsure how to move in this supposedly fun place.

Sandy had never seen red tentacles with eyes on them before, it was .. weird. Could these weird noisy eyes see them? It seemed so becuase one had touched their nose. The little lust spawn froze once again mildly distressed at having been noticed without even trying to be. Alpha and Omega tried to bat at the big red thing but mostly succeeded in mussing Sandy's hair and hitting the toddler in the face.

Sandy's eyes went from the newly appeared boy, to the other's tentacles to the balls they were in. Once again green eyes went wide "The colours are coming off." The words were a horrified whisper and ans if sharing Sandy's panic all for of the child's golden tentacles began to flail, none desiring to be rainbow coloured.

Sandy shook their head slowly calming down when they realized that the other's colours did not come from the ball pit but were there naturally. "No, I thought the balls..." Sandy trailed off. It wasn't a silly thought after all a lot of things in Sandy's house tended to smudge or lose their colour, it could happen with a ball too even if they'd never seen it before.. right?

Omega buried itself in Sandy's hair as if disassociating itself from the toddler in embarrassment.

" I'm Sandy, you have more teeth" the light haired spawn replied. The yawn having given them the chance to see and count the other's teeth. " Does it stop hurting?" Sandy's own teeth were still growing in in some spots and the young spawn was not fond of the pain even if they did like having more teeth.

The more confused the other got the more nervous Sandy became, this was why people weren't supposed to notice them. Without a word the quadruple tentacled toddler sank back into the pit, not fighting the pull of gravity. Why did they keep saying the wrong things? Was it becuase they had had no school yet?

Steve had napped in there? Sandy hadn't even known he was there, the boy could have been squished if someone stepped on them. Sandy had just wanted to hide until they could think enough to understand. Still, the lust spawn smiled as they were drawn up out of the pit by the other, confused or not Steve didn't want them to ink, that was good right?

They giggled a little at the other's tentacle names "They sound funny." The words were in no way meant as offense to the rainbow tentacles, Sandy simply found their names strange. "Which is nat'sha?" If they learned one they would know the other.

Sandy nodded as Epsilon began to weave back and forth like a snake hypnotized by the sound of the googly eyes in front of it. "Ep... Epi... silo likes them." Sandy still struggled with name of their large left tentacle.
