s**t he couldn't believe that the kittens had gone missing like that...it had only been a few days, but he had already settled into a panic.
It was only after the twins had showed up...together...back at their territory that he had calmed down, now rushing back inside with the kittens in his arms towards his shared room with Mei, all but squishing the twins against his chest as he bumped into the door, expecting it to be open. "Mei!" He called, managing to pry the door open with his arms full, "Mei, Mei look!" He was still young..so he had his excuses to be overly excited, and this was one damn good excuse. He also didn't seem to take things very seriously, or treat the kittens with extreme care...but as soon as he saw those collars he felt his heart sink.
Jae's lower half dangled and bounced as their father rushed them back to their mothers...he had been having fun, too, wandering with his sister and playing out in the grassier areas, not stuck near the dead earth where the fire had demolished everything. The fire he had heard about, of course, Tempo had told them the story of why the buildings looked so destroyed...but he still didn't get why the grass hadn't grown back around some of the areas...
But that wasn't the point. Giggling when SeungRi bumped into the door, pretty much head-first, he kicked his feet to try and get free when he heard their mother's name, giving a loud mewl to try and summon her faster. It hadn't been as scary as he thought, being with the humans. The university students had loved on them, fed them, bought them toys...it had just been a little stressful to be away from their parents.
However, at the first sign of the door being left open, he and his sister had been out of there to go see their parents again. And by the looks of things, they weren't going to go back to the humans, his father seemed pretty pissed off that they had wandered off like that.

Mei heard Ri screaming and ran to the door, only to hear a loud THUD.
... well s**t. She stepped back as her love flung the door open and immediately saw what he was -currently- flipping out about.
... her babies.
All but flinging herself upon them, Mei managed to grab up Jae and hold him close, squeezing -but not too tightly- He seemed well, god she was so worried ... what if the facility had gotten them? His crying for her had nearly broken her heart, and every night she had dreamt of their kids. Their two adorable twins she went through HELL giving birth to -and didn't plan on doing again annnnytime soon- She looked down at his collar and felt her hackles stand up, feeling so much older then she really was... and actually like a mother.
"Who hurt you baby, tell me and I swear they wont get to ever see your face again." Mei never had thought of hurting a human, even the most evil she had met...
but with the idea of her babies being kidnaped... well what would any sane mother do?
Ae rode along next to her brother, her face smushed against the crook of her fathers arm as she slid further down and her brother managed to be bumped further up, she peeked up at the red faced male she had been aware of since the very first day of her existence and smiled/grimaced. The humans really weren't that bad to them... of course the cute little collar that needed a key to unlock was really quite irritating, but it was nothing that couldn't be fixed. She closed her eyes, trying not to get motion sickness from the bumpy ride, and only opened her eyes as her father ran headlong into the door. This made her giggle, but her mothers haired expression and reactions made them stop abruptly.
Jae was plucked up and she was left with her da, relishing in the space now open from her brothers departure. Quietly she cuddled into Ri and smiled, home felt good when you weren't smushed.

Panting when Jae was taken from him, he brought his now free hand up rub at his face, fixing HyunAe in his arms to hold her against him, lightly nuzzling into her cheek with a sigh.
Damn this had been too stressful for the situation...bad child-birth along with their kittens being taken so quickly, he hadn't realized how much of an adult he could be when all of that s**t happened...besides the crying, but he'd never admit to crying, even if Mei brought it up...and he'd cried right along with her.
But, he was still young, as said, so this was all too new to him... he'd often gone to Tempo for advice, even after their kids went missing..it had been way too frustrating. "Mei calm down--" He paused, thinking over his words, "They look okay.." He looked down to his baby girl and frowned, "Right? You're okay?"
Purring lowly, he nuzzled up into his mother's neck and licked at her cheek, giggling while his father rubbed at his face. "They didn't hurt us~" Yes, the key-lock collars were kind of a b***h, but hey, whatever. He liked his right now, kept his neck warm while it was cold out.
Smiling brightly up at their mother, he leg his legs hang once more while she held onto him, his little nub of a tail flicking this way and that in excitement, "We were just over there!" He pointed in the general direction of the university, knowing there was a wall there but eh... "Someone must have brought us back with them when daddy was gathering things outside." Yes, he might be the youngest, but he remembered their kidnapping--well, if he could even consider it a kidnapping honestly...he had enjoyed the adventure, especially since he and his sister liked to play pranks on the humans.

With a glare Mei turned and walked back to the bed, sitting down heavily and holding Jae as close as possible. Her hair tickled her nose -being unbound for once- and she had to resist sneezing on the baby. Just got them back and then them becoming sick... oh no that wouldn't be good at all.
She leaned back, resting her head on the pillow and looking at her baby boy, just looking at him with a scrutiny.
"You both scared us, you know that yes?"
A slow smirk formed on HyunAe's face as she looked at her father, before leaning forward and biting his nose. She giggled and jumped down, running past Mei and hiding under the bed, watching... waiting for one of them to dare come closer -and loose a bloody foot- she was a naughty girl, oh yes quite, but fun to play with when she wasn't being a little brat. The only things she showed affection to was her closest family members, and even then... look at where that got Ri.
"Jaeeee play with me!!~"

Giving a squeak and letting his daughter go after she'd bitten him, he huffed and pouted when she scampered away, shaking his head slightly.
"See, they're fine," he smiled, just glad to have them back. Rubbing at the newly abused area of his face, he moved over to the bed to sit with his mate and reach over to pet his son's head lightly. At least one of them was calm-ish, right? Of course, he had jumped so his daughter couldn't take off a toe or bite his ankle.
Jae purred and looked over to his dad when HyunAe bolted under the bed. The horrible urge to chase her stub of a tail was killing him, but instead he nuzzled into his mother's cheek and purrs louder when SeungRi approached.
He was a sucker for attention, loved to be cuddled and petted and spoiled. No wonder he liked the humans, they coddled him, fed him all the time, gave him treats, toys, pet-names...but he'd rather be with his parents either way.
Grinning widely after a moment, he shifted to where his rear was in the air and he licked his mother's chin, scuttling down and off of the bed. He landed rather awkwardly on his chest/chin, then skittered under the bed to join his sister with a giggle-fit. Yep, hyper kittens.

Mei smiled, her face flushing at the kitty kiss and reached over to SeungRi. "Im happy you found them Babe, it certainly does take away the fear that seemed to take over." she said quietly, them being away... it reminded her far too much of the whole facility thing. Tempos -lovely- but dysfunctional kits. She reached a hand out to him, having a serious need to cuddle at the moment. As -un- Mei like as that was.
"I love you."
She was sad that her daddy had jumped, how did he do that?! She wanted to get his toes sooo badly. Happily she waited, until a familiar silver and gold form skidded under the bed with her. Ae tried her best to jump on her brother from under the bed, but only succeeded in bumping her head. Sniffling she looked at him pathetically, rubbing the bump forming on her skull.

Smiling at Mei, he moved up to nuzzle into the side of her head, wrapping his arms around her as he settled down with a sigh.
"They're just...hyper," he laughed, "I'm just glad they're safe..I didn't really find them, they just stumbled upon me while I was hunting.." SeungRi explained, running his fingers through her hair calmingly. "Now you can rest, dont stress about them anymore..but I would be careful--" And he heard the thump, which just made him sigh and chuckle.
Giggling at her, he sat up and gently rubbed her head, hugging her closely to himself so she would feel comforted.
"We gotta' go after them, they wont come back down," he whispered, grinning. Looking up to the bottom of the bed, Jae's ears perked then his little tail began to twitch, his grin turning into a smirk.

Mei shrugged. "im not stressed." -lie- "I'm happy they found their way home... and you brought them here immediately, even if you did do so in such a .... enthusiastic -/harmful/- way." She purred softly, ignoring the bump under the bed... there was always bumps under there after all... probably old lunch meat or something...
Ae looked at her brother and let a giggle escape her mouth. "oh yes, they cant get away this easily, we just found them again. What idea do you have?" She knew that smirk, Jae was planning something. Ae looked about under the bed, just as dusty and cluttered as she remembered... but what would make their parents come out?
... then it came to her. Within seconds she was wailing, in 'pain'. "DADDYYYY MOMMYYY!"

SeungRi chuckled at her, knowing her lies and...well, knowing what she said was true. "What..I didn't harm them, at least," he retorted, puffing out his cheeks before nuzzling into her neck...
Then came the screaming. His nub of a tail puffed up and he was crawling over her carefully, peaking over the side of the bed as his daughter yowled. "Ae, baby, what's wrong?" He almost knew better...almost. But of course, he had to reach down to drag up the blankets to try and get to them.
Smirking, he moved to crouch, waiting for one of them to get down...when he saw their fathers fingers. Prime pray for kittens such as themselves~
Jae let out a war cry of sorts before attacking their father's hand, hearing a yelp from SeungRi as he was dragged up by his father's hand--dangling in the air by his own two hands. "Mommmaa..." He whined, wiggling to get free.
"HyunAe I've been captured!"
