post here if you loathe your name a lot pretty much.
Please explain why you hate it with a passion and/or it should really be.

My real name is Carolyn. Not Caroline, dammit.
I hate it because--like P!nk--I don't really feel like a Carolyn (plus, everyone in elementary school called me "North Carolina", "California", "Caroline", and spelled it "Carlyon"). Hell, I don't even LOOK like a Carolyn.

My name should really be Hotaru, Evangeline, or Emily, because I feel more like those than my real name.
