I've been brought aboard to help with a few forums and I ask a poerty forum to work with. Any poetry is acceptable. If you are new to poetry and wanna give it a shot, go ahead; you will not be critized. I'd also be glad to accept anyone who would like to help others learn how to write poetry. Thank you.

Just a question about the "you will not be criticized" bit? Constructive criticism is encouraged, right? Obviously, saying "Wow, that was really horrible" is a no-no, but saying "this line is weak" or "this bit needs work because..." is all right, right?

But some people are real babies about it. Don't get me wrong, I hate any kind of criticism just as much as the next person... at first. Nobody likes being told "Ok... that really wasn't that good" especially when YOU thought it was. However... some people just can't take any kind of criticism and through temper tantrums and "poor me" fits when someone is simply trying to help them.
Just saying... "can't handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen." And if you're a woman... you better get used to the heat because leaving the kitchen is not an option. XD

XD *LIKE!* But, yeah, that's what I was thinking, too. Writing is a challenge, especially to new writers, so any kind of imperfection (however inevitable that is) could be discouraging. So, is what you mean more that our INTENTIONS must be to help, not to discourage?

I want to post a couple of mind... however... the few that I feel are worthy of posting are good enough that I'd like to see about publishing them in something, maybe making a few bucks off of them or something. I'm paranoid someone will steal my poems. Lol!
