Maion was nervous, Sofiel had told him that Moon was now finished with her training and would be travelling back to her fathers herd today.... infact he had so nervous he tried to reherse what he would say to her over and over again.
I am sorry... I did it for you... please forgive me.... I love you
Yet the fact remained, he felt pathetic, nothing he could say would make her forgive him- as far as she was concerned he had abandoned her.
He felt bad enough for his part in the act.
But here he stood, waiting for her, longing to see her, to talk to her. He would leave it to her. If she didn't want to forgive him he would completely understand. He could never force her to anything and he really did only want to see her happy.
-----------------
Chandra leaped and pounced after her brother and sister, playfully nipping her brother on the tail before jumping over him and using her wings to flutter over him before landing infront of him. She loves playing with her siblings and knew nothing of her mothers troubles... but she was still curious about everything. Their mother didn't have the fluffy things upon her back or the horns upon her head -so why did she? That and her mother was a beautiful design of blue and green yet her pelt was mainly black. So many questions, but there was no room for them in this world -she was far to excited with the propect of playing. Mother had said that once they reached the herd she would be able to leap and play all she wanted. YAY!

Sengdroma laughed as she kept a watchful eye on her foals. She had left Sofiel early in the morning, her training complete. She had come far in the months that she had been away from her family, she was happy to be going home. She was happy that she would soon see her lake. "Careful!" she called out as the foals seemed to start playing a little rougher than she would like. She thought of how the day would go, how would she explain to her parents that she had foals...yet, no mate? Her mother would take it easier than her father was, but she didn't see him being too upset once he met his grandchildren.
She had thought often of Maion, where he went and why he left her. But, she was all the better for it now. She had three beautiful foals that would grow to be well rounded soquili, her herd would see to that...even if there father wouldn't. Her thoughts turned back to her foals, she took to a trot to keep up with them.
Io laughed and played with her siblings, she watched at Chandra teased their brother. She loved her brother and sister very much, the thought that they were different from their mother intrigued her, it was a topic that the foals talked often of when their mother was just out of hearing distance. She, like her sister, had wings...and all three of them had horns. None were traits that their mother had, maybe...maybe the rest of the herd had the same?

((If I'm slow, feel free to pass me over! I know how excited you guys are for this meeting. Just assume that Mal follows along!))
Malchediel was a bundle of energy as he roughhoused with his sisters and followed his mother. They might have wings... but he was big enough not to get pushed around so easy! He was too busy having fun to think about where they might be going or why. Even the fact that he didn't currently know his father didn't bother the young colt. He hadn't met enough other foals to know yet that a mother and a father were usual.
He reared up, little hooves flailing but not kicking in the direction of Chandra. "What out! I'm gonna get you!"

Still nervous Maion shifted on his hooves softly, he was getting use to the whole -don't fly- concept. After all he had been doing it since he had left Sengdroma, making a promise to himself that unless he could make things up to her he would never fly again. Yet that wasn't the reason why he wanted her to forgive him.
After standing and staring at the same spot for what felt like hours he finally heart a soft rustle ahead.
Heart pounding. Racing. Panicking. What would happen?
"Moon....." he called, hoping that he wasn't simply addressing a woodland creature or something. "...is that you Moon?" He tried to smile but there was a still a deep sadness and regret hidden within his eyes. Even if it was her there was no garentee that she would answer.
-----------------------
Chandra was having so much fun playing that hearing a voice that was not her mothers, siblings or Sofiel's felt alien and caused her to stop in her tracks. Moon? She looked up at the sky, it was early morning and the Moon had gone long ago. "I can't see the Moon?" She said, more to herself than to anyone else.
A little uncertain about what was happening she instantly followed her instincts and moved closer to her mother, rubbing herself against her leg softly. Surely while she was there nothing bad would ever happen.

(The next few were done between Sya and Dixie on AIM)
Seng stopped in her tracks, Moon...she knew who that was. She looked to her foals, "Quickly, you must hide." she demanded. She moved over to the side of the path, there was thick underbrush there that would suit to cover the foals. "In here," she nodded and nosed the bushes. "You all, ALL, stay hidden until I come back to get you. Do you understand me?" she looked to each foal waiting for an answer.
Io looked to her siblings with a confused look on her face, what was going on? Why were they hiding from the moon? It had disappeared hours ago and had caused no harm, "I understand," she said, but she was still curious. She would wait until they were in the hiding place before asking her siblings if they knew anything.

Maion was sure he could hear voices but he couldn't bring himself to move, if Moon wanted to ignore him then he would give her the opportunity, after all he knew from Sofiel that she had been deverstated when he left -he still could not forgive himself for that. Yet here and now he found himself repeating over and over again in his head 'please forgive me, please, please!' Yet despite his pray he saw no hope, why would someone who had been hurt so deeply forgive him for his selfish actions. Especially when he couldn't forgive himself. A lump moved to his throat as he tried to call out to her once more, "Moon... is that you? Please be you. It's..." he hesitated and then spoke his name a lot lower but it was all he could muster, "Maion"
-----------
Chandra found her self scared by her mothers sudden change, she had never asked them to hide before, so why would she do so now? Following Io and Mal she lowered herself to the ground to sit in the hiding place before whispering to Io. "Whats wrong with Mamma?"

Seng helped the foals into the hiding place. She stepped back to take a look. She couldn't see even light Io, they were well hidden. "Be quite, and don't say a word. I will come back when it is safe." She whispered to them in a stern voice. Turning back to the path she broadened her shoulders and headed towards the voice ahead. In her months of training she had become thicker with muscle, though still dainty in size her muscles rippled beneath her coat. She remembered Sofiel's teachings, she must stay calm in front of any enemy....enemy.
-------------- Io looked between her siblings then over to Chan as she spoke, "I don't know," she whispered. She looked around, she couldn't see a thing through this stupid bush. She knew mother was going on down the trail...maybe....maybe they could move just a little? "Turn around, she went that way.." she tried to turn but ending up nosing Mal in the side, "Mal, turn around!" she demanded in a whisper. She waited for him to turn so she could shift as well.

Maion waited for a reply but none seemed to come. Defeated he started to turn, maybe it wasn't even Moon... Sengdroma. Maybe she had taken a different route? Perhaps if he walked towards her fathers herd again they would meet up there? He sighed. Perhaps everything was hopeless? Yet even the slim line of hope he had had kept him alive for the past months.... he loved her with his entire being, and he hated being apart.
--------------------
Chandra nodded to her sister and tried to turn, it was hard with the three of them so close but not impossible, Mal seemed to have managed it already but he didn't have four fluffy things getting in the way on his back. Before long she had managed it and found herself peeping through the leaves at some large horse with a pelt like the night sky and four wings turning away from them. He didn't look dangerous to her but what did she know? "Can you see that?" she whispered to her siblings, Mal simply nodded -quiet as always.

Turning the path just as Maion turned, she called out to him. "What do you want, Stallion?" her voice was stronger than when he had left her. The feelings of rage started filling her body, she could not believe he had dared call her name. What was he doing back after all this time? She would set him straight this time, she would show him that she had been worthy of his affection...at one point in time.
------------------------ Io finally managed to tuck her wings close enough to turn. It was hard, but she finally managed. As Chan spoke she was finally in position to look out, "Who is that?" she leaned over towards her sister. Suddenly, she heard her mother's voice and she shy'd back from the front of the bushes a bit, not wanting to be seen. "She sounds mad...."

Maion's heart did the stangest thing as he heard her voice, part of him cringed at being addressed as 'stallion' and the other part leaped at the fact she had not just ignored him. Yet both sides of his reaction knew she was angry -and with good reason, yet he still hoped that when she learnt the truth she would understand and probably not straight away but eventually find it in her heart to forgive him. After all he had only ever been thinking of her. Turning back towards her he allowed a pleased smile to cover his lips, she looked good with the added tone to her muscles, Sofiel had been right -she was indeed fit and he was sure she had taken to the training well, after all that had been her dream. "You look good..." the words just sort of leaped forward on her own, and the moment they left he knew they where a mistake. She was mad at him -it wasn't like they where just friends who hadn't spoken for a while- he had broken her heart and in her mind stampled on it. He longed for her to know the truth. "I am sorry for leaving you Mo- Sengdroma." Perhaps calling her Moon was not the best idea right now, and it was killing him. "Sofiel has told me how well your training has gone, I am happy you managed to fulfil your dream." He stood there before her, vunderable and open. He would take whatever was coming his way, after all he deserved it. ---------------- Chandra shrugged her shoulders in responce to her sisters question, the tips of her feathers pushing on the top of their shelter and causing the leaves to rustle. "Oops..." she said as she pulled them as tightly to her sides as she could manage. And as her mother spoke she found herself utterly consumed in the scene before her. "...I don't know... I wonder what he did??" She tilted her head a little as if that would make her understand.

My dream? My dream was to be with you....she thought as she looked over him. Her heart tried to flutter, but her anger just wouldn't let it. "You left me!" she retorted, "Why should you care how my training went?" she approached him futher, her steps steady and deliberate. "After everything you said to me, after meeting my family, you LEFT ME!" her eyes tried to fill with tears, she was so mad, but she refused to let him see that side of her anymore. She was a strong mare, she would not faulter.
----------------------- Io looked quickly to Chan, "Careful!" she whispered as her sister's wings hit the leaves overhead. She looked over to Mal, he was just consumed by the scene at hand, not paying attention to either of the girls. She turned back to Chan, "He seems...nice?"

He knew that in her eyes it was true that he had left her, but the truth was he never had. Nearly every night he visited them and spoke to Sofiel, the only exceptions were the nights when they did night training. He had watched over her for as long as he could remember and since the day he left he had even decided not to use his wings -the only time he had was when he felt something was wrong, right near the beginning of her training... yet Sofiel just said 'it is for her to tell you'... to tell him what? In her current state it was likely he would never know.
"I never left..." he said, lowering his head a little -he was ashamed at the way he had treated her. "I have visited every night and spoke to Sofiel.... I...." He gulped and looked up at her. He could bring himself to tell her that he only left so that she could focus, he couldn't tell her that he really did only want the best for her. Somehow he felt she would see them as empty words rather than truths. "I really am sorry for causing you any harm, that was never my intention.... and it has killed me every day since." He tried to smile, the corners of his lips turning into a forced smile. He wanted to hold her close, to ask her not to be mad at him, to tell her that he would take every thing away and make this up to her every day for the rest of her life... but he couldn't. After spending time with her father he knew that she was just as strong minded as him, if she wanted to forgive or believe him then she would. All he could do was hope. ------------------ Chandra looked to Io and gave her a clumpsy 'sorry' smile as she tried to stay as still as possible. Not wanting to bring attention to herself any more she simply nodded to her sisters observation and kept low to ground.

A few steps away from Maion, Sengdroma took her stance. "I wasn't good enough, was I? Because I'm not angeni? Because I wasn't a fighter? Because I'm grounded?!" she almost yelled at him, she was so mad. She would show him. Show him how strong she was and that she could manage her own. "I'm stronger now, I'm what you never thought I could be!" She dug her hooves into the ground, her muscles tensed a bit. "You don't deserve me!" she couldn't stand it any longer, those were the words she had wanted to scream at him for months now. "Take your stance, Stallion!" she demanded of him.
---------------------------- Io froze as her mother issued a challenge, she had never seen this side of her mother, none of the foals had. Io quickly looked from Mal to Chan, then back at the adults. He was larger than Sengdroma, but in Io's eyes, her mother was the strongest soquili that existed. She felt slightly sorry for the stallion.

"Moon?" The word escaped him, he was shocked by her answer. He had never cared that she was grounded -infact that was part of what she loved about her- he didn't care that she wasn't an Angeni either. What difference did breed really make? But what really stung was the fact that she thought he believed she could never have achieved what she did, he shook his head as she spoke. Sadness swept over him yet he tried to keep himself composed. He had promised himself that he would take whatever came his way -anger, hatred even violence. Yet the sting from the words 'you don't deserve me' echoed over and over again in his mind. He would not agrue with her there, he never felt like he deserved her. So without another word he simply stood before her and lowered his head slightly as if offering her to take her best shot. he could take it.... after all the scars from a skinwalker attack still lurked below the bandages upon his legs. ------------------- Chandra shook a little as the scene developed, her mother was so angry and she really couldn't understand why simply from what she was saying.... all she understood was that 'he had left her'..... she turned her head a little and touched Io's shoulder softly. "What does she mean... he left her?" The innocent little foal knew nothing of her mothers past, only what she had taught them about her father and the herd. Everything had sounded so wonderful, nothing to get this angry about.
