 Have artistic skill you'd like to show off? Well, now here's your chance! Here are some guidelines in which the the contest will be judged by myself and another mod(s):
-MUST have Negima characters [but not limited to the aforementioned, meaning crossovers with Negima are accepted].
-The quality and uniqueness is present.
-All art forms accepted. If you want to make a Chamo-kun statue, heck, be my guest.
-One (1) entry person, to keep it fair.
Format of posts:
Quote: Username: Title of Artwork: Series & Characters Used in Artwork [can also include original characters]: Median used in artwork: [pencil, pen, Photoshop, etc.]
The theme of the contest: New Year's Day [hint: This year is the year of the dog.].
This also includes Lunar New Year or any other asian new year celebration.
Prizes, you ask?
1st place: 5000 gold
2nd place: 3000 gold
3rd place: 1000 gold
Prizes may or may not be subjected to change.
Deadline: Sunday, February 12th 19th 2006, 11:59 PM Pacific Time ENDED

Like i told Chibi Totoro, i may not officially be apart of this but i'll do a little something for demonstration. I'll have something for you by the end of next week. I got a lot of work and little time to do whatever i want anymore. neutral

This is my first time drawing one of the characters so its not that great. And I cant find my color pencils right now thats why it isnt colored.

i have a question. am i allowed to draw something that ken akamtsu has already drawn? for example, say i draw the cover for the first volume. can i enter with it? edit: oh, what the heck, i'll enter anyways. if there is anything wrong, please let me know!
