Puppet Techniques.Sasoris Legacy The art of using puppets in battle was developed by the Hidden Sand Village. Over time these skills were passed down through the generations. The earliest known puppet master was Chikamatsu Monzaemon, who developed the art and passed it on to the next generation. The oldest living master was Granny Chiyo, and her grandson Sasori later became what many consider the greatest puppet master of all time. When Sasori fled the village, Kankurou was given his puppets and took up the role as the village's up and coming puppet master.

* You must make posts to learn Puppet Techniques. Each technique takes 5 paragraphs to learn, except for A Rank and higher techniques which require 8 paragraphs.
* When applying to use puppets make sure you inform a member of the Crew which puppets you're going to be using so they can add you to the list.

Kugutsu (Puppet Techniques)Control, Power, Performance
Stage 1 Genin)
.The user has the ability to summon and control non-living creatures and use them to fight in their place during battle. The level of skill while using the puppet is comparable to the user's normal movements. Note that this means the puppets will not be very strong since puppet masters lack acute physical strength or elemental control.
Every Puppet Master needs to master Stage One before they can use puppets in any functioning manner.
Puppet Summoning Rank E Description: This is the first technique that any puppeteer learns, it is also one of the most important. This technique allows the user to summon their puppet to the field. This technique must be mastered BEFORE learning any other puppet techniques.
Chakra Strings(( Maximum: One Puppet )) Rank E Description: The second and most important technique that any puppeteer needs is the ability to control their puppet. This technique allows basic control over a puppet through use of a chakra string attached to each finger tip.
Stage 2 (( Chuunin ))
Puppet Summoning(Stage Two) Rank C Description: This is the first technique through which a puppeteer can employ multiple puppets. The second stage of puppet summoning allows the user to summon up to three puppets at once or a higher ranking puppet. This technique is necessary in order to learn the next.
Chakra Strings(Stage Two)(( Maximum: Three Puppets )) Rank C Description: The Second and most important technique for wielding multiple puppets that any puppeteer must master. This technique allows basic control over a group of three puppets through use of a chakra string from each finger tip.
Stage 3 ( Jonin/Anbu/Hunter-Nin )
Puppet Summoning (Stage 3) [Includes Human puppets] Rank B Description: Allows summoning of up to ten puppets or a Human puppet. (All other info for this section is the same as the others)

Human Puppet Creation Rank A Description: Create the ultimate puppet from a fallen Shinobi (( only if you killed them)). These puppets retain Bloodlines and any six Ninjutsus Taijutsus or Genjutsus that the body possessed while they were living.
Jikki Chikamatsu no Shuu - White Secret Technique Rank S Description: Summon The Army Of White (( probably better than the 100)) Note that you must have Stage Three to perform this jutsu.

The Puppets
Karasu - The Crow
This puppet has many skills that can be used when attacking and defending, although it seems to mainly be an offense oriented puppet. Each limb of the puppet is loaded with a series of different retractable weapons allowing for the puppet to be effective in almost every close quarters situation. Its other skills include:
Detachable limbs - These limbs include the head, arms, and legs. These can, of course, be controlled even after the limbs are detached thanks to the fighting style's proprietary chakra strings, which are used to control each limb independently.
Extending Poison Blades - Once the limbs are detached an intricate set of poisoned laced blades can be triggered from them. Poisoning their victims is a method that many puppeteers value because it slows their opponent down. Puppeteers have often been known toy with their targets after poisoning, relishing the opportunity to play god over something that is still alive.
Poison Gas - Once fired, poison gas serves as an excellent means of concealment for the inoculated, or immune, puppeteers. They also serve as quite an effective means of poisoning opponents.
Razorblade Ribs -This attack involves the puppet extending razor sharp blades from it's ribs when an enemy is close by. These are only bladed on the inside and must be position around the opponent and retracted in order to do any damage to the opponent.
Kunai Launcher (Mouth) - Fire a kunai from Crow's head, this attack is best used in conjunction with the detachable arms to pin the opponent in place while it is fired.
Doku Kiri Jigoku • Baribari Hyaku Renpatsu - Poison Mist Hell • Hundred Continuous Tears Rank B This technique involves Kankurou, or whoever is utilizing this puppet, using both Karasu and Kuroari (detailed below), or any pair of puppets. Kankurou maneuvers the two puppets around his target, then uses Karasu to launch poison mist bombs at his target, enveloping them in the gas. Karasu and Kuroari, then launch a multitude of needles at the target.

Kuroari - Black Ant
The Black Ant contains many secrets only known to puppet users. This puppet's main focus is defending, and it does so well, but also possesses a set of claws for attack. This puppet was originally built to capture the opponent and together with Karasu it makes a set. Karasu leads the attacks in an attempt to force the enemy into Kuroari's trap. Once trapped inside Kuroari, Karasu will disassemble and extend poison blades from the normal attachment points of each limb. These blades each have their own matching slots on the outside of Kuroari's body. By slamming each blade into it's respective place, the puppet combo delivers an effective death blow, almost certainly killing their opponent. Other skills include:
Serrated Arms - Getting punched by this puppet can be deadly thanks to the saw like blades that run down the outside of each arm. These blades are believed to be so strong that they can cut through anything from wood to rock.
Chamber of Death (Chest) - The chest of this puppet expands in order to capture opponents as part of its combo attack with Karasu, which is detailed above in this puppet's description.
Kairai Engeki • Kuro Higi Kiki Ippatsu - Puppet Theater • Black Secret Technique, Dual Mechanism One Shot Rank B Kairai Engeki • Kuro Higi Kiki Ippatsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Sand ninja Kankurou. Kankurou uses this technique while performing his Kugutsu no Jutsu. This technique involves Kankurou's second puppet, Kuroari ,acting in conjunction with Karasu. Kuroari acts mainly as a defensive puppet in this technique, capturing Kankurou's opponents. Kankurou uses Karasu to maneuver his clueless target into Kuroari's opened chest. Once inside it will immediately close to prevent their escape. Acting quickly, Kankurou will break apart the limbs of Karasu, with each limb popping out a deadly poisoned dagger from its connection point. These limbs then jab into the slots of Kuroari, puncturing and killing the opponent trapped inside.
Kuro Higi Kiki Ni Hatsu - Black Secret Technique Crisis of Two Début Rank A Kuro Higi Kiki Ni Hatsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Sand ninja Kankurou. Using his Kuroari puppet, Kankurou distracts his opponent in some way, either by means of another ninja or possibly using Karasu. With the opponent distracted, Kuroari is moved into position behind them. Kankurou opens the chest cavity and launches wire to ensnare his target. This pulls them into Kuroari's chest, causing it to snap shut, trapping them. Instead of using Karasu to deal the finishing blow, the wire wrapped around the opponent continues to tighten until it cuts through the opponent.

Mokujin Ninpou: Mokujin Soujutsu. This vast army of wooden training men move independently thanks to the use of charms which have been placed on their heads. Because these men are "dumb" and only attack randomly, a target can easily defeat them with normal attacks or avoid them with an average amount of speed. However, by using Mokujin Soujutsu, the puppeteer can control specific puppets on the battlefield. This allows the puppets being controlled to better attack and defend themselves against their targets, making them much more difficult to get around. These puppets have the ability to connect at the arms and spin around wildly, causing a good deal of damage to an opponent caught int their path.
Mokujin Hitsugi - Wooden Men Coffin Rank B Ninpou: Mokujin Hitsugi is a Ninjutsu technique used by the Ryuudouin clan. Using their vast army of wooden training men, the three brothers place more advanced charms on the heads of the dummies which allow them to attack a specific target. When the target is sufficiently surrounded, the clan members will break the wooden men down into their base parts and then combine them into long rows. These rows stack and combine to surround their target and isolate them from the outside world. The wooden parts are be imbued with the clan member's chakra and be greatly strengthened as a result. If enough power is placed against the structure however, it can come crashing apart, sending pieces of puppets flying through the air.

Akagahara
In the exam area Akagahara, one of the traps surrounding the statue above the red four-leaf clover, was an army of puppets. These puppets were left over from their days as obstacles in the exam. Basic in type and severely aged, these puppets seemed to move under some hidden influence, as there was no puppet master around.

Sanshouuo A huge lizard puppet, possessing many of the same traits as Hiroku, which is used as a great defensive gate that is almost impossible to break.
Poison Tongue/Tail - This puppet possess a tail and tongue which can both inflict wounds laced with deadly amount of poisons. Both the tail and tongue are sharp at the tip and suited better for stabbing motions, though a Puppet Master can easily swing them both around to create long gashes in their opponent.
Senbon Launcher (Arm) - The arms of this puppet are each loaded with Senbon Needle launchers which fire up to eighteen needles series of three bursts of six needles a piece. The needles fire from the puppet's palm.
Senbon Launcher (Mouth) - Same as the one above, except this one fires in three bursts of ten needles.
Great Shield - This shield, which takes form from the shell-like back of the puppet, is all but impenetrable to everything but the most powerful attacks.

Jikki Chikamatsu no Shuu - These puppets were made by the first Kugutsu no Jutsu user, Chikamatsu Monzaemon. The puppets were passed down to Granny Chiyo, the elder puppet master of the Hidden Sand. She uses the puppets as her ultimate technique, in what she calls the "White Secret Technique". The puppets are stored in a summoning scroll and once summoned each individual puppet is manipulated by one finger on each of her hands.
Below are the ten puppets and their revealed abilities. It is unknown if they possess other weapons and attacks.
 This puppet does not appear to have any hidden weapons, instead relying on its brute strength and power to knock away attackers with it's hands and feet.
 This puppet does not appear to have any hidden weapons, instead it used its body in defensive maneuvers to preserve the other puppets in the group.
 This puppet holds a chakra sealing orb in its mouth. The mouth will open, releasing the fist-size orb. When thrown the orb increased in size to reveal that it is actually a gaping maw. This large head can bite and pin opponents to a wall, sealing their ability to use chakra. (See Fuuinjutsu section for information on the sealing jutsu. The Sealing jutsu must be learned by the puppet user first.)
 This puppet bears the mark of "Buddha" in its mouth. It forms the top portion of the Sanbou Kyuukai technique and works along side puppets six ("Acts") and eight ("Priest").
 This puppet utilizes some form of chakra-like blade. The top portion of its head lifts, to reveal a round sub-face. This face then extends four blades, which begin to spin rapidly. This puppet works in conjunction with puppet nine.
 This puppet bears the mark of "Acts" in its mouth and forms the lower left portion of the Sanbou Kyuukai technique. It works along side puppet four ("Buddha") and eight ("Priest").
 This puppet wields large head-cleaving swords, which it can use to split enemies in two.
 This puppet bears the mark of "Priest" in its mouth and forms the lower right portion of the Sanbou Kyuukai technique. It works along side puppets four ("Buddha") and six ("Acts").
 This puppet works in conjunction with puppet five. It can extend its right hand on a chain, to interlock with puppet fives left hand. It then hurls puppet five and its spinning sub-face at opponents.
 This puppet holds sharp tipped extending cords/wires in its skull. It can extend these piercing wires into its opponents and use them to rip targets apart.

Sanbou Kyuukai - Three Buddhist Treasures Vacuum Destruction Rank A Sanbou Kyuukai is a Ninjutsu technique used by three of puppet master Chiyo's Chikamatsu puppets. The puppets come together to form a pyramid. After forming a hand seal, a great suction will draw in all the surrounding targets to the area between their bodies. Once the materials being sucked in reach this area they are broken down into nothingness by the swirling vortex.
