Inkwell A Fantasy RP This RP is loosely based of the Princess Tutu anime.
A story's birth is a sudden event. The start a happy accident, the end the fate for which it's mean what will your story be...?
Plot/Premise:
The town of Inkwell is a place of stories, literally! Its citizens are the peoples and creatures of legends, myths, fairy tales and lore. They see nothing strange about they children being taught by a cat or their music be composed and played by a penguin. Marionettes walk hand and hand with princes and fae.
But for all their fanciful whimsy they cannot leave the town in which they live. Most of the inhabitants of Inkwell don't notice this, in fact, the thought of leaving the town never even enters their minds. But for a select few the question of "what's beyond the gate?" is an ever nagging curiosity. But do they have the strength and the courage to try and leave? Is it even possible to leave in the first place?
...
To those who accept their fate be granted happiness, to those who defy their fate be granted glory... and to those who change their fate be granted both!

Rules:
* Follow the TOS (obviously). * Be respectful of others. * Keep it PG (Ren/Nairu, this means YOU!). * Make an attempt at literacy. * No God-modding. * Please post a bio of your character to be added to the third post. (But be sure to make your character sheet a different post from your first in-character post. DaikonNairu will be deleting character-sheet posts as they are added to the Cast list so as not to interfere with the flow of the RP.) * Don't kill off another players character without discussing it with them first.

Characters/Players
[imgleft]Picture of Avatar[/imgleft] Tale of Origin: (If applicable, tell us what fairy tale -or type of tale- your character hails from.) Name: (Your character's name.) Race: (What are you? An animal? A Princess/Prince? A Witch? Evil step-parent? Poppet?) Special Skill: (What useful skill(s) does your character have that could help them or other characters?) Short Bio: (How did you end up on the space station?) Interesting Trait: (One interesting or random character trait.)
Tale of Origin: Princess Tutu anime, loosely based off Edel/Uzura Name: Renette Race: Poppet/Marionette Special Skill: She has the ability to point hero type characters in "the right direction", but cannot do this for herself. Short Bio: She had once been a plot device her author used to move his stories along but now has fallen by the wayside and lives in Inkwell without a purpose. Interesting Trait: She always seems to appear right when she's needed whether there is a logical way for her to get there or a reason for her to be there in the first place.
Tale of Origin: Princess Tutu anime, loosely based off Fakir Name: Reneir Race: Knight, Human Special Skill: Micro-managing (much to the annoyance of those around him) Short Bio: Reneir was supposed to be a tragic knight who would die in the service of his prince. But he failed at that, he failed to die and so now live out his days in the town of Inkwell without a purpose. Interesting Trait: He does ballet (Shh, don't tell anyone.)
Tale of Origin: N/A Name: Unah Race: Angel Special Skill: Flaming Arrow, Opening Heaven's Gates. Short Bio: Unah's parent's died when she was just two in the Angel and Demon war. Before they died they took her to a close friend for safety and that was the last she ever saw of them. Now eighteen years old, Unah had been given the burden of the Guardian of Heaven's Gates. She and her partner must travel the world opening the Gates to those who perish. Good thing the Gates can be opened from anywhere and are only visible to those who died and other Angels/Demons. She is in Inkwell for her travels and though the town is closed in being an angel, she has her way out. Interesting Trait: She's extremely calm and mature.
Tale of Origin: N/A Name: Angela Race: Angel Special Skill: Magic and removing souls. Short Bio: When Angela was just an infant, Unah came to live with her and her family. Since then the two had been inseparable. It only made sense that Angela would get the job as Angel of Death and get to travel the world with her best friend. She's with Unah in Inkwell. Interesting Trait: Angela hails from a rich family with seven other siblings. The reason behind them picking her to be the Angel of Death was because of her extremely cheery perspective. You have to remain cheery in order to deal with such a depressing job or else it could kill you.
Tale of Origin: N/A Name: Corren Race: Demon Special Skill: Sword and some magic. Short Bio: Corren was only 18 when he met Unah at a ball that he was supposed to destroy. Distracted by her beauty he forgot all about his mission. The two fell in love but as the night went on another Demon had arrived to take matters into his own hand. Corren rushed to protect the Angels and was considered a traitor. He had his wings ripped from his back and was abandoned by his own kind. He and the Angels parted that night but met up again two years later. He is now in Inkwell having followed the Angels there. Interesting Trait: He is extremely self confident and a bit cocky. He's a bit of a flirt and pretends to dislike humans. He used to be a very high ranking Demon until he was out casted. His mom remains in Hell but there is no information about his father.

"I don't find anything interesting about this place," Came the rather annoyed voice of Corren as he sat at the table outside stirring his drink. "As usual, I'm going to disagree," Angela chimed in. "Everyone has such interesting stories to tell." "You'd think with everything we've gone through nothing would surprise you," He responded. Unah ignored the two as they began arguing. It never got old.

A gloomy looking man dressed in the chain-mail and plate armor of a knight pasted by their table seemingly lost in his own thoughts. Absentmindedly, the knight ran a hand over the mark on his chest, the mark left by the attack that should have been his death blow. He should have died when his enemy struck him, died in the service of his prince. But he hadn't. He had somehow lived and the wound closed leaving not a scar but rather an odd discoloration on his skin. He should have died that day, but he hadn't and now he didn't know what he was supposed to live for.

The man had caught Angela's attention. Though her curiosity did not linger on his attire or even his scar, but rather the look on his face. He seemed sad. It was a look she recognized well from her friend Unah. That was only on occasions though. She herself could understand sadness in others because when a soul died she could hear it crying in agony and could even feel more of it's pain when she touched it. This situation, though, was a lot less intense. She didn't actually have to feel this man's pain like she would the souls and so she felt a lot less connected. This of course didn't mean she wasn't going to get involved. "Are you okay?" She called out to the man before getting up to make conversation. She would offer him a smile, her usual friendly way of greeting people. "There she goes again," Corren said while rolling his eyes. "I swear we need to get her a leash." "As long as she's more focused on his business," Unah said stirring her drink in a bored manner. "and not telling him ours."
