now instead of addressing the real meaning of valentines day ((St. Valentine)) i am going to address the cultural effect of valentines day
Now here is my problem with "dating" ((besides not being popular with the ladies xd )) even when your my age you don't look for someone to "Date" you look for someone to spend the rest of your life with and Dating has become the way this generation and generations past do that. Now the problem with "Dating" is that alot of the time there is a lot of Lust involved and most kids i know have had like 8 Girlfriends here's my solution to breaking up, Get to know the person before you ask them out, alot of my friends have no idea who the person is when they ask them out and i just needed to address that.
Gifts are a great way to express your love for each other but they are not responsible for a good relationship, if your BF/GF gets upset because you didn't buy him/her a gift well i don't see the point in staying in that relationship. ((though this is hardly ever the case))
Discuss ((i,ll add more later))

Ha. Now I believe another reason is that they do not understand what Love is, the definition of love has been changed to nothing more than an emotion. Love is much more than that, the way I define it is this "The ability to hold someone dear, despite changing emotions". = D so tell me what you think.
