Ending of Death Note

ok, i saw the whole thing, and i didnt really like the ending....what do you think? did you like the ending or didnt?

I was depressed that Light didn't succeed, however i saw it coming, it was either he won, and killed Near, or he would slip up during the final confrontation and either get arrested or die, which is what happened, kinda sad that Misa commited suicide at the end though, but also predictable

I hated the ending. I hate Near. I think he wrote into the death note and made the day go in his favor. Jerk . I hate him i hate him I HATE HIM!

no i didnt reallyy like the ending actually i mean ryuk killed light cuz he was the only thing he had left i mean seriously of all the things that happen but the whole thing about those ppl in the robes praying to kira was acceptional

I agree with you. However, Ryuk was a God of Death after all, and I suppose they could be quite ruthless. I liked the praying people in the end, too.

Thought it was sort of lame, the way Light dies... but im glad Ryuk killed him cause he kicks butt! xD

Though i forgot the difference in the manga and anime of how Light dies...

the ending wasn't my favorite... it was sort of... lacking? well i dont think it wraped it up all the way.

though im glad Ryuk killed Light!!! >=D

If you have seen the Deathnote Relight:Visions of a God...
I would have liked it better if Deathnote Finished like that...With L's Death and Light making the world a Utopia Step by Step!!!
So No I did not like the ending...I wish Light could have lived!!!
